It would be great to have an ad free option for the iPhone app.

As others have said, the advertising on the iPhone app is minimal and innocuous. Are you suggesting, perhaps, that rather than having advertising support the website site, that you'd be willing to pay a subscriptions or fee to use Gas Buddy in order to learn prices in your area?

That said, advertising and Gas Buddy member price posting is what keeps this website valuable and useful. Accepting the little advertising that there is (and no one is saying you have to open and read the advertisements on the iPhone app) and posting gas prices once in a while seem to me to not be a very high price to pay for what you get out of the website and the iPhone app.

Hi F150_Gasbuddy,

Advertising is a necessary evil to keep a free service like ours around.

Because a large majority of our income is generated by advertising, if we removed the advertisers, it would ultimately mean no GasBuddy.

Considering the ads are minimal and barely noticeable, I would be willing to pay $0.

I wondering how many ads there are on the iPhone app??? I see on or two on my Galaxy S III and I barely notice them.

I assume you would be willing to pay a subscription?

This is 2013 -- haven't entered many prices and have 0 consecutive days as of right now?

Try making some contributions before asking for an ad free app.

You want to ride n the wagon or are you willing to pay? Or did you just get yourself a new fancy phone and are going to start inputing prices?
