There is a station in town that is a small independent station right at a motel. but on BOTH sides there is a larger gas station.

The station is just keeping the store and drive up primarily for the motel guests and has taken out there pumps meaning there is no fuel prices to ever report there again but it remains on the gasbuddy list..

How do you go about getting it off the list? there is also a station in the neighboring town that is on the list but has been closed for over a year that would need the same task of being removed from the list

"palantir24 Can you remove diesel from an open station on the MSL too? "

Yes, palantir24, since you have over 10,000 points you are able to edit all entries in the MSL including unchecking diesel. However the Gasbuddy sites and mobile apps DO NOT filter price reports based on the available grades listed in the MSL (yet, many people have requested this feature upgrade). People will still report diesel for stations that do not sell it, you can remove these incorrect prices by posting a price of 0 using the full website - either via the map gas prices view or via searching for the price. Hope this helps.

Go to the MSL. Locate the station and mark it as closed.

You have to edit the Master Station List (MSL) using the full site. The easiest way to do it is to bring up the stations on the map, click on price balloon, click on Edit Station Info and change its status to closed temporarily or permanently as the case may be.

You can also access the MSL under Gas Prices, then click the Master Station List tab.
