Why is this? It needs to be fixed.

And if you had maxed out your points every day you have been a member you would have roughly 273,000 points.

If you've already posted several messages, your message post follow-up to reading the article might be your fourth or fifth message post of the day. Responding to your fifth article reading might be after you've already reached your 5-message post limit (for points). That said, if you think that your message post is insightful, relative, will add to the discussion, then post beyond the points limit. After all, we're mostly here to help each other, and not strictly for points. Aren't we?
