Suggest that as a GasBuddy improvement.
They don't let clueless rookies besmirch the Master Station List, they shouldn't let clueless rookies make stupid posts at the spur of the moment. They should let them post prices and read messages for a couple of weeks so they don't do those 1/120 wonders telling all of North America that they went to a certain gas station (which they, of course, assume everyone knows where it is) and their debit card got skimmed.
IMHO, only clueless rookies (no matter how many GasBuddy points they have) use a debit card at a gas station. I don't know if they're easier to get than credit cards now, I can remember when banks turned people down for ATM cards (which are even less than a debit card) with the excuse their credit file was too thin. I might make an exception for the ARCO fanboys because their preferred station only provides the overwhelming convenience of buying with plastic when you use a debit card. Not being from ARCO country, I don't know if you have to key in your PIN to have the transaction go through. I certainly hope so, if not both ARCO and their customers are stupid.
