Prices need to reflect a special Cash/Member condition.

I was confused too, a station near me has both a card and cash price. I've been putting the cash price in, but it would be nice to have a n option to show wither both prices or one or the other.

I would like to know the CC price as I don't normally carry much cash and my tank holds nearly 60 gallons.

It is merely a suggestion now that we make a comment on member-only prices. Personally I think that is wrong. I used to send notes to the mods, and they would send reminders to members who didn't make comments. No more, so our Costco prices are posted without comments 99.9% of the time.

I agree. Gas Buddy wants us to submit cash prices (and I do) but so many people put the credit price. And you can tell it is certain stations that people list the credit price, instead of the cash. When I visit my sister, the stations in her neighborhood are all credit prices. In my area, just about all stations have the cash price listed.

"As all GB prices ARE currently cash, what is left is a membership indicator. "

No, I think he wants both -- one for a cash discounted price, and one for membership-- so he knows that those low prices won't fly with a CC.

This suggestion has been added to the Suggestion Tracking List as a new suggestion.

On second reading, the slash should be read as "or" (as Scrapheap did), so he is suggesting an indicator for either cash or membership requirements. As all GB prices ARE currently cash, what is left is a membership indicator.

The member-only retailers I know generally do not accept cash, so it would be helpful if you could flesh this out a bit.

He wants an easy way of identifying stations whose reported prices are cash or require a membership, such as COSTCO. He probably wants a simple way of knowing where he doesn't want to be lured by an unusually low price.

What is a special "Cash icon"?

And what is a "Member condition"? Are you suggesting that, for example, for all the gas price posts you've made, that there should be an indication that the psot was made by "sirald66"? If that's the suggestion, price posts already do that; they indicate who the most recent price poster was, be it you (for all the prices you have posted) and for all the prices posted by others.

Or do you mean something else by "Member condition", such as "prices posted by this member are deemed reliable...unreliable...the price posting history is insufficient to establish a reliability patter for this member's price posting."
