"I still think there should be some kind of "history" feature to show dates/times of when a user reported prices."
And, to follow-up scoutmaster's post regarding the "My Points Earning History" feature already in place, you can contact the moderators if additional history is needed.
Seems like what you're asking for is already available.

Seriously???
APPS AWARDS?? They waste too much time programming the stupid APPS AWARDS as it is...
This site is not about games, it is about providing GOOD VALID DATA to each other so we can save more and spend less (ala CH) when filling up our tanks.
OR, at least it SHOULD BE, but lately I am not sure what the intent of the site is...

There is a history. It's called "Point Earning History" and it's on your profile page. It gives you a list (date and time included) of all your points earned for the last 31 days.
I'm guessing those little changes you are referring to are the car icons & speed lines. What can those little things do?

I agree, they are entirely different issues. Let's take the alarm issue out completely, because I have them set up already using a different app on my phone and for whatever reason I didn't do what I was scheduled to do.
I still think there should be some kind of "history" feature to show dates/times of when a user reported prices.
Incidentally, you'd be amazed at what little things -- such as, on the website, the graphic changing when a certain point level is reached and/or after "x" number of days of consecutive price reporting -- can do. They may not seem like much, and there's no financial incentive for the person doing the reporting to get them. Same goes for the mobile app.

What event would the alarm trigger on exactly? Would it alert when you needed to report prices or lose your status or what?

What??? An alarm so you don't forget something? Isn't that your responsibility?

I'm sorry, but you want Gas Buddy to have some type of alarm or something to remind you to report prices?
So you don't lose your app awards?
I'm not trying to be sarcastic or make fun of the suggestion (which, will be added to the Suggested Topic List, I'm sure), but really? REALLY?
Why not, if posting gas prices is that important make your computer's home page a reminder, so that every time you open your computer, it's right in front of your face.
As a side question, are the app "awards", something that only you can see, really so important that you need someone from the outside to remind you to post gas prices? You're a long time member who (with the large number of points you already have) has posted a lot of gas prices before there were "awards for app posting", before there were "commuter awards" that can be seen only by the member. Why not concentrate on what you (and many of us) were doing before there were app "awards? Posting prices for the simple reason that we gave (and give) a damn about helping our fellow members?
If you really need to have someone remind you to post prices, and I'm assuming that you don't need someone to remind you to go to work on certain days and I'm being serious, put a "Post-It" note on your computer; have your spouse or significant other remind you; put a note on door of you apartment or house so you can't miss it before you go out.
Sorry, but unless you're asking that the Gas Buddy website and/or app is always the first thing that pops up when you turn on or open your computer and mobile device by default (and everyone else's device that uses this program), I can't go along with this suggestion.
If the issue is that you want to know when you posted prices or took part in other activities, you can contact the moderators and ask for the information. However that won't help you if you, as you said "I could have sworn I reported prices..." and you didn't report them.
Two entirely different issues. Entirely.
