No, as you can imagine, there's not even enough room for one pump. :-)

FYI, edward, any question that begins "How about earning points for..." is unlikely to fly.

And, not only will you have "garbage articles", as noted by TxJeans and maxstar, you'll have multiple posting of the same topics others have already posted. The last thing we need is a hundred or more members posting a news article that another member already posted, in order to get points.
The alternative to having multiple posting of the same news articles would be (forgetting the multiple versions of a topic in different publications) to award points to only the first member posting an article or link. Forgetting how difficult and time consuming that would be to monitor, other members would object that simply because someone was faster or lived on the east coast, they were unable to get points.
If the points are that important, then, as others have noted, maximize the points opportunities already in place. Not picking on you, but because you raised the points issue, in about a year's membership, you've earned the amount of points many members earn in two months. You've averaged a little more than one gas price post a day whereas others have maximized their price posting to the five-post (for points) limit. In other words, if points are thpat important, you haven't taken advantage of about 300,000 points that were available to you.
If "new content" is that important, then that's simple. Post new content not because you can get some points for it (after all, points, considering how many points you've left unearned versus how many you've earned, don't seem to be a priority), but post new content because you think it's interesting, others will learn something from the new content you're posting. Post new content because you think the new content is interesting, it's entertaining, or because it could be informative or beneficial to your fellow members.
All that said, I think there are more than enough ways to earn points without any changes, let alone for posting news articles and links.

I agree with Maxstar that giving points for posting articles would flood us with garbage articles, just like giving points for posting to the news leads to a lot of worthless responses.
Personally, I would rather they stop giving points to responding to the articles in the newsville, and maybe the content would improve.

There are already plenty of articles posted here. Awarding point for articles would likely lead to a flood of articles whether relevant or not. If you are really interested in points edwardj66 start posting gas price updates every day. Gas updates earn more points than any other way. Since joining you have left quite a few points on the table.

Groutvale (to give the correct spelling), is a mining town in Colorado. It was built in the early 1900's, and so named, because it was squeezed between two close canyon walls. Space is so precious that all roads and paths pass under the buildings, which nearly touch the walls, leaving no passageway for man nor beast on either side. Groutvale is wholly owned by Mining Vacation Tours, Inc. of Denver, a for-profit subsidiary of the non-profit Broomfield County Historical Society. http://www.wikipedia.com/en/Groutvale_Colorado.

Ditto to what Mario posted. You have been a member for almost one year, edwardj66, yet you have only earned a little over two months worth of points.

Don't you know that journalism is dead? That's right, there is no more "new content." We only blog about other people's blogs now. :-)
