GPS locations are indeed a means of finding a loction. Some Gas stations are in and are on highways where the mailing address is several kilometers/miles for the nearest commnity. I believe GPS option should be included as an option for adding new gas stations in the data base... thoughts?

Hi 2008JeepX,

When you edit or submit a station into the Master Station List, there is a map in the MSL station details page. Users can select a point on the map to place a map pin marker, this map pin marker is assigned a geo-code.

When giving a complete address and a cross street/nearest cross street, this can help narrow down the map pin marker to a specific area as well.

---

When you use the Suggest a Station feature in the apps (should be found at the bottom of the list results when logged in), a map pin is displayed over top of a map - users move the map to center in on where the station is located. The suggested geo-code is used as the station's location map pin marker on the sites and in the app.

I hope this explanation helps.

It seems like this is a suggestion for something that's already available.

When you put the marker over the pumps at the station, the GPS coordinates are entered.
