Because the points balance digits decrease as tickets are purchase, perhaps the two could be combined like this.

It sounds as though the OP is referring to their available points balance (the points used to get tickets).
Your available points balance can be found on the Get Tickets page, here you can see how many points you have available to get tickets ('My Point Balance'), and the maximum number of tickets you can submit into the current contest ('Number of Tickets' drop down).

Well, then some math will need to be done. You can earn the following
975/day 6 days/week = 314 days = 306,150 points
1,075 for one day each week = 52 days = 55,900 points
80 points/referring a friend with a max of 15 = 1,200 points
100 points for joining
Grand Total possible for 2012 363,350 points
