It would be a great plus if I could just record my fill up on my phone instead of bringing the receipt home and then adding it in. I am all for that option.

I have a android and would be able to load in gas purchases as they occur if if was possible through my phone.

I have another fuel log app installed on my tablet, but I had to reset the tablet back to factory settings because I had some bugs to fix. Then I lost the entries I had made to that app because it didn't recognize where the files were stored. In order to import them back into the app I would have to buy the full version. I wouldn't care if it was a separate app from the Gas Buddy app as long as I could get access to my fuel fill-up history which is stored online. It would be nice if it was just a part of the GasBuddy App since I have to log in to that app to add gas prices anyway. It's just a thought.
I know I can browse the net on my tablet, but I thought an app would make it easier to access my information instead of trying to tap on the small links on a web page. Maybe we could have access to the forum in the app, too.

Unless the Samsung Galaxy Tab's app is considerably different than that for the iPhone, you can access the full website from the browser on your device and access the fuel logbook. Granted it may not be a one-touch option, or as easy as posting gas prices, but you can access the feature.

Moved to Suggest a GasBuddy Improvement.
Theoretically it wouldn't be as hard to create as it would be to implement into the current applications. The Log Book functions differently from the app base functions of finding or receiving and displaying fuel prices.
In a best case scenario the Fuel Log Book would potentially be it's own application that would access each members Fuel Log on the website(s).
I'll forward your suggestion toward the development team for further review.

You should post this in the Suggest a GasBuddy Improvement category of the forum. We in this category can't read (or pretend not to).
