I agree. Even if you could put the octane signs that are on the bottom of the screen smaller at the top. We take two 1000 mile trips every summer and I love updating as I go. The problem is we live in an area with alot of ethanol prices and seem to enter our prices in different than everywhere else. Our "regular" is different than other "regulars".

BeemerBikerUT, here on the east coast, many stations sell premium as 93 octane. Sunoco stations are known for selling both 91 and 93 octanes. The problem arises when some Sunocos put the 91 octane price on the sign, while others put the price for Ultra 93 on their signs.

Generally, most regular fuels are between 84-87 octane, most mid grade fuels are 87-89 octane, and most premium fuels are 90-93 octane, sometimes even 94.
The "octane" rating shown within the app and on the sites in station features is for iconic purposes only, and does not actually represent the octane of fuel sold at any particular station.
We are considering adding other fuel types to the website and apps, however, currently only display the three main grades of gasoline, and diesel. We are hoping to improve upon this as time goes on though.
Thank you for your patience while we continue to develop and improve our mobile app and web services.

It appears cas1849 is only a user and not a contributor.

I think it would clog up the screen too much, where would you stop ORD, E85, all different octane levels,
I like it as it is.

I agree. There is plenty of room on the App to add it and it would be especially helpful when I take my summer ride out of town on a cruse.
Doesn't seem like a very difficult improvement to implement either. -Great idea.

cas1849, I think it's unlikely that premium93 will be split off into a separate column -- however, as with other alternate fuel types, you can find or start a topic in your local forum to identify stations carrying it, and if necessary, the current price at those stations.

If the type of fuel was ever tied to those "checked off" in the MSL the suggestion would not be too difficult to accommodation.

When you find time to post a price, you can put that in the comments. Add it to your favorites list and it will always be there.
