Initiated, Proud, Humble, and Blessed!
Retired Surface Navy.........Present.

ARMOR UP!—PROFICIENCY OF THE ARMOR

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. --Ephesians 6:11

If you were a dog working alongside Navy SEALs, how much would your body armor cost? Would you believe $30,000? Many elite military units employ canine partners, and every dog sent into combat is outfitted with a tactical bulletproof vest that includes a waterproof high-definition camera, a harness for rappelling with its handler from helicopters, integrated microphones and speakers, and the most current woven technology for stopping bullets or knives. These dogs can move faster than the SEALs, and they can detect smells and sounds crucial to the mission. They’re worth every penny of the gear they carry.

Our Master in heaven has purchased the armor we need. “Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words,” says Ephesians 6:14-18 in The Message. “Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare.”

Our adversity is deadly, but the armor of God is proficient and able to keep us safe and victorious. Determine today to live a righteous life, to trust God in the crossfire, to appropriate the Scriptures, and to be faithful to prayer.

Gird on the royal armor, that we the foe may face; and trusting our Commander be victors through His grace. -Fanny Crosby

19° and overcast with some snow falling lightly at Curwensville Lake! We got enough snow through the night to cover the grass, driveways, and streets! Hopefully, by tomorrow it will all disappear again!

Today's high only 29°, tonight's low 14°, back to winter again, did someone say it was Spring?

Oh, don't we just love Spring weather? If we could only get to some temps to warm us back up again and more sunshine would help!

Life is all about numbers! So much is happening, so much to look forward to!

Enjoy Daylight Savings Time, sunset is now at 7:35 pm, 12 hours and 30 minutes between sunrise and sunset, enjoy the remaining 220 days of DST!

Fed Tax filing day, April 15 is just 18 days away, don't wait to the last day this year! At least we will have warmer temps! We hope! lol!

The Boston Marathon is Monday April 20, just 23 days! I ran the Boston Marathon in 1994 with a time of 3:18, I was 49! How much snow will still be around for the running of the Boston Marathon? The daytime high us usually in the low 50s!

Spring is here! Time to get gardens ready! I've already started planning my garden, hopefully, next week I will have my onions and peas in the ground!

Easter is only 8 days away, Sunday, April 5!

Mother's Day is only 43 days away!

Memorial Day is only 58 days away! No more snow, for sure, at least around here! : )

Have a nice Saturday and a nice weekend . . . I know I will! : ) Enjoy the warmer weather, if you have it!

Good Afternoon to all the great GasBuddies and fellow veterans from all across GasBuddyland

SSBN-641 '71/FMWTC Charleston '74/MCC Rochester '75/NTCC Norfolk '77/
CG-27 '79/MOTU-2(Norfolk '84)

35° and overcast with snow showers in the area at Curwensville Lake!

Today's high only 36°, tonight's low 36°, we need another warming trend, especially at night into the mid to upper 30s, better yet, into the low 50s during the day! Our warming trend is going to continue ever so slightly into May with temps remaining below normal!

Oh, don't we just love Spring weather? If we could only get to some temps in the lower to mid 50s and more sunshine!

Life is all about numbers! So much is happening, so much to look forward to!

Enjoy Daylight Savings Time, sunset is now at 7:34 pm, 12 hours and 28 minutes between sunrise and sunset, enjoy the remaining 220 days of DST!

Fed Tax filing day, April 15 is just 19 days away, don't wait to the last day this year! At least we will have warmer temps! We hope! lol!

The Boston Marathon is Monday April 20, just 24 days!

Easter is only 9 days away, Sunday, April 5!

Mother's Day is only 44 days away!

Memorial Day is only 59 days away! No more snow, for sure, at least around here! : )

TGIF . . . again, already . . . Have a nice Friday and a nice weekend . . . I know I will! : ) Enjoy the warmer weather, if you have it!

=======================================================================
Wholesale futures (RBOB) was on a steady rise, but has fallen back to $1.82 this morning! The tread is for the RBOB to continue to rise for all the various factors that affect it over the next 7 to 8 weeks as we get closer to Memorial Day weekend! It is very possible that the RBOB will continue to rise past the $2.00 mark by mid Summer or sooner! We are at the threshold where we could see increases at the pumps this week here! Now is the time to fill up the gas tanks and keep them topped off before the gas prices start to increase again! The lower gas prices might not last long as the RBOB will probably continue to steadily climb over the next 2 months!
