Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

The peppers are much sweeter than bell. Love the taste. If a blanket doesn't work, then it is time for long johns, or to get up and run! It works well. Cut 3/4 inch off the crust and the pizza is great. Friends liked it much.

Our area saw a low of 20° (-6°C) yesterday morning. Forecast is for two more chilly mornings, perfect for the sugar maple sap to flow, and then a warm up. Hope that spring returns next week along with rain to melt the last of the snow and help thaw out the soil.

Enjoyed a brekky of the cod and shrimp with lots of veggies prepared yesterday. Carrots, Vidalia onions, and Sweet Twister™ peppers were added. Nice way to face the early morning at 2:30 AM.

The GB rounds went okay, the topics and posts were noticeably slower than usual. Several other sites were visited and tested using Speakeasy Speedtest. It accurately tests your download and upload speeds. Hope the mods iron out this site.

Played hours of BioShock. It is so pleasing to see the graphics on the 1080p 42" LED TV and hear the surround sound from my 10 y/o RCA sound receiver w/5 speakers and a powerful woofer. Saw that my last saved game was March 30, 2010, just over 4 y/a. That was when the XBox was last used, before this week.

Did not drive to see if the water in the CT River has receded. Know it will remain above flood stage until this afternoon. N.W.S. in Grey, ME says the water at 8 am yesterday was 18.6 feet. Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

The temp now is 31°F (-1°C), with the high to be 50°F (10°C).

Have a tremendous day!

Midnight, was a good game, lost tho. Blanket helped, but still was chilly.

No snow lately, but still cold for us. Wind makes it worse.

They look like HOT peppers!! No like them!

Nothing wrong with a slight burnt crust pizza!

Oops, can't cross there! Have seen cars in middle stalled

Have a good night

Good Friday greetings!

I ♥ Life!

Might look into a pop racing game for the XBox. Always loved racing and the sound of mighty engines.

Wonderful to bring a blanket for the cold sitting in the bleachers. Great that youth have so much energy to burn. We once did, eh?!

Giving up root beer floats, for four days ; )

Went outdoors early to do what was hoped to be over for 6 months. Brush snow off the windshield of the Dart and scrap the thick ice off the glass. The ice scraping took 15 minutes in 11 (-12°C) temps.

Melted snow turned to ice and was 2" thick. Very solid ice due to the unseasonably low temps the past two days. Needed to back up the Dart for a bit just to go forward. The gravel road was nicely plowed down to the surface.

Bought at the mkt were a new to me item. Sweet Twister peppers, inspired by flavour. Grown at Mastronardi Produce Ltd, Kingsville, ON. They are greenhouse Grown • Family Owned • 4th Generation, now in their 60th year. Truly sweet tasting peppers, that was $2 a lb.

Also bought were Mineolas 50¢ ea, asparagus for an unreal $1 (no typo) a lb, baby bellas 10 oz for $2.28, cukes for 40¢ and giant plastic shopping bag size heads of green lettuce for $1.50. Passed on $2.85 a lb grapes. Have produce remaining from last week.

Visited my pal the mgr at Rite Aid, then decided to pass on a trip to Subway, WM, and Shaw's Supermarket. Did stop at Parker's Mkt and Deli to get a slice of pizza. They have one of the few places where a ⅙ of slice of an 18" pizza can be bought starting at $2.50 (tax inc).

It has been months since my last visit. Told the young pizza baker gal that pizza could be smelled. Shoot she said and ran over to get a giant pizza oven spatula and removed the pie. It was well burnt around the edges. She gave the entire 18" cheese pizza pie for free. Thank you so very much!

Drove to Whitefield to see if my pal the meat mgr was working. Asked him if he and his co-worker wanted some slices of pizza free. They took two slices a piece and wrapped them up for lunch. No excellent deals on meat were found this week.

Drove around munching on slices of pizza and came across the CT River in flood water stage. There were barricades of red and white stripped signs that read Closed due to flood water.

Took about 40 pix of the river pouring over the CT River Hwy, Rt 135 nearly up to the top of the guardrail. Several homes beside the banks need a boat to leave or return, or wait the flood out.

The Official National Weather Service out of Grey ME had a Flood Warning extended until Saturday morning. "The Flood Warning continues for the Connecticut River near Dalton until Saturday morning."

At 12 PM Thursday the stage was 21.6 feet. *Flood stage is 17.0 feet.* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by late tomorrow evening. Lots of pix were shot.

The low yesterday morning was just 10°F (-12°C). The temp now is 21°F (-6°C), with the high to be 52°F (11°C). Spring returns.

Have a delightful day!

We had sound too, from roar of the 600hp engines, squealing tires to bangs when I hit the wall, many times, pit crew with impact guns changing tires! It was realistic.

Cool here too, but my cool is probably warm to you. Fixing to go to grand daughters soccer game, last time we were cold, but not tonight. We will be prepared with a blankie to throw across our legs. Those girls make me tired running up and down the field.

Looks like a great meal! Thanks for the recipe.

Ummmm, think I will go make me a root beer float with vanilla Ice cream, don't have any pistachio ice cream, my favorite.

Have a warm and restful night

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Enjoyed your story of the car racing site. XBox360 would make a car race even more real. The surround sound would add to the realness.

Had to put on a winter shirt this morning. Gosh darn chilly out there.

Boiled a half lb of tri-color pasta in the microwave yesterday. It was al dente in 11 minutes. Pan fried some thawed cod, red bell peppers, vidalia onions, then microwave cooked some broccoli florets.

To this a drained can of pitless medium black olives and some peel and eat shrimp were prepared. Nice sized shrimp that are 41 to the lb. Mixed it all up with some lightly cooked diced garlic and a liberal amount of evoo added.

Made homemade Japanese shrimp sauce using the following:
3/4 tsp paprika
2 tbsp rice vinegar
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder,
+ or - per taste
3 tbsp melted butter
mix all into a plastic or glass mixing bowl
add 1 cup real mayonnaise (never salad dressing)
Light or no fat is okay. Mix well.
Cover and refrigerate 4-6 hours or overnight.
It allows all the flavors to mingle.

Optional: a teaspoon of tomato paste for added color and acidity. You can also add a dash of cayenne pepper for a little spiciness

One can just dip the shrimp into the sauce, as an appetizer, or mix the creamy sauce with the entire contents for a salubrious feast.

After eating this scrumptious meal, a fancy dessert was in order. Made a coffee cup size root beer float with real maple syrup, chocolate and pistachio nut ice cream. Was so delish a second cup was enjoyed.

The low yesterday morning was just 19°F (-7°C). The high was 28°F (-2°F). 3" of powder fell and remained. The temp is 12°F (-11°C) with the high to be 47°F (8°C). Will shop at the market and a few other stores later.

Have a fantastic day!

I ♥ Life

Midnight, we had a lot of rain yesterday and cold (to us) today. No snow!

Haven't been into Xbox games in long time. Did really enjoy Nascar racing on line, was real life. Brother and I would chase each other and see who could do the most damage and finish the lap! But, that was not during a race with others. Neat to be able to also talk to the other drivers too.
My name was Happy, and one race during a yellow flag, a guy called smoke called "Hey Happy, I said yeah, he asked, are you happy?" Before I could answer brother said "yea he is!" Miss it, the last race, the guy that owned the web site said after the race, "that's all folks!" The site went away and haven't heard from him again.

Stay warm

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Was quite an interesting mysterious occurrence on tape 10. Had no link to the ice floes. Have 'em ready to upload, one of these days. Saw the time lapse on wunderground on a movie clip of the eclipse and red Moon. Can't find it right off to share.

It sure did rain yesterday. The 100% chance was right on the money. Went out to the and soaped it down with a big car wash sponge and a bucket of soapy water. Lots of mud to rid. Did let the rain rinse it off.

Got right into the underwater City of Rapture in the X-Box 360 game of BioShock. Orphaned young girls known as Little Sisters are protected by powerful Big Daddies, men grafted in giant metal diving suits for armor, that protect the girls at all costs.

The first person shooter, named Jack, who crashed into the Atlantic, must fight altered human beings named splicers drugged to the max on "ADAM". The game is set in 1960 with much nostalgia, including songs and memorabilia of the late 1950's.

BioShock is the fifth highest rated Xbox 360 game released to date. BioShock (video is 1 min) toys, action figures, and collectibles are routinely sold out. It has a 95+ out of 100 rating in over 4 million sales.

The temp is 24°F (-5°C) with the high to be 37°F (3°C). It is snowing moderately. 3" so far on my window boxes.

Have a fabulous day!

Midnight, yes I did. He was in "Somewhere in Time" a terrific love movie and different theme, out in 1980. Story in that, I had it recorded on tape #10. Wife loaned it to her mother and it disappeared. We figured she returned it to the library. Some years pass, and her mother passed in 2002. One day, I walked into our living room and saw a tape on the floor in front of the TV cabinet, reached down and picked it up, looked at label and saw the 10 on label. Called wife in and asked her if she knew how it got in front of TV. No idea, showed her the label, and did not know if she was going to cry, faint, or what. She just stood there and asked if I had put it there. No, told her it was just there. Strange things happen!

Like the covered bridges, but did not see photos of the floes (?) in the river, reflections mirrored in the water, geese, ducks, and the mtns in the distance.

We had quite a rain this morning, then drizzle for awhile in afternoon. Saw moon last night, but was not awake at 3am to look to see if it was red.

Have a good week

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

May have visited a Target store once. None in my area.

Did you know Reeve passed away in 2004? On October 9, Reeve felt well and attended his son Will's hockey game. That night, he went into cardiac arrest after receiving an antibiotic for the infection.

He fell into a coma and was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York. Eighteen hours later, on October 10, 2004, Reeve died of cardiac arrest at the age of 52.

Twas a great morning to get the laundry done. Washed the 500 count new red Egyptian cotton sheets, pillowcases, shams, blanket, and bedspread. Not one drop of red on any of the other clothes, mostly jeans. What a nice soft feeling after the sizing is washed out of the new material.

Took my camera and the Dart for a scenic drive on the CT River Hwy. Saw many ice floes, though they were not giant, yet many small ones. Over 100 geese and scores of ducks were resting in the river.

At times the river created the perfect mirror images of the reflections that on the sides of the banks. Ended up in beautiful downtown Northumberland, NH.

The population was 2,288 in the 2010 censuses giving it a density of 63/sq mi (24/km2). There is a covered wooden bridge that is most delightful that is only open to foot traffic.

Photos of the floes in the river, reflections mirrored in the water, geese, ducks, and the mtns in the distance, still snowcapped were taken. Also took more photos of the metal bridge between VT and NH on US Rt 2 that will be replaced. Construction has been delayed for 1 year.

Returned up the mtn road to see a female moose (bulls antlers growth in moose begins in late winter with the formation of velvet, a soft, blood-filled skin that fosters development.) trotting up the mtn. As soon as she saw me she went into a gallop and went off into the forest.

Must have shot close to 100 photos during my three hours in the field. Will have some to share one day when a new album is created and the photos uploaded. Have been told by other members there is an 80 pix limit on GB.

The temp is 62°F (17°C) with the high to be 66°F (19°C). There is a 100% chance of rain on the way. Sadly overcast is covering the full Moon eclipse.

Have a wonderful day!

Hey, Midnight, that Target at 5001 Holt Ave is only about 15 miles from our house and was my ol' stomping ground growing up. When I lived in Hampton (35 years)was about 4-5 miles from it.

I remember Superman well, shame the way he was injured.

Only eat low fat turkey bacon. Trying to avoid cholesterol, sugar, salt, a chemicals.

Looked the game up on the search engines. One can still buy it. or play online. New versions Are Halo, Mass Effect and scores of others. Superb graphics make their worlds as real as ours.

Enjoyed the 1995 movie remake by director John Carpenter of "Village of the Damned." 99 min, A horror, sci-fi, thriller starring Christopher Reeve (in his final performance before before a horse riding accident on 27 May 1995 left him paralyzed), Kirstie Alley, and Linda Kozlowski.

All people and animals in a small country village become unconscious. 9 months later the women give birth to special gifted children. As the children mature it is discovered they are alien beings posing as humans.

The original version was released in 1960. This was Reeve's last film before a horse riding accident left him paralyzed. Well acted and directed. Rated R for some sci-fi terror and violence. "Village of the Damned." is way better than the imdb.com rates it. 4.5/5 stars.

Set up my new Vizio 42" HD Smart TV. Only have PBS locally to watch. There is no cable or satellite reception. After lots of thought returned to WM to purchase a slim wall tilt mount for up to a 70" TV for under $25.

After nearly 3 hours, the wall mount, TV, DVD, XBox 360, and the RCA 5 speaker surround system were installed. Now need a long ethernet cable to hook up the new TV to my downstairs phone to get all the internet features which are many.

It rained until 2 in the afternoon. A great day to set up my new entertainment system. Temps hit 52° (11°C) and the clouds left for an occasional afternoon of sun.

The temp is 31°F (-0.5°C) with the high to be 73°F (23°C) in sunny skies.

Have a pleasant day!

Midnight, don't even know if you can purchase Doom. The version I have is Dos. With it I have 688, a sub game, is also fun and not near as tense as Doom.

Will check out putlocker next time to watch a movie.

I like Vidalia's and red peppers saltated together.

We went by Costco snacking and saw some Turkey Bacon samples. Very good, low fat, low salt, bought box of 4 12oz packages for $7.09!

Have a good week, I am soooooo sleeeepy, can't think

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Somehow missed Doom. Like the shoot 'em up games. The Starcraft games are armies battling many other armies on land and in the air. No sea battles. Love to get lost lost in the 3 races of Starcraft. Addicting is a good way to spent lots of free hours.

Saw The Dollar pix 40 y/o. Remembered nothing except the lead characters. Watching mor putlocker.bz than Netflix. It has a 20 year major library in stock.

Woke way too early yesterday morning. Finished my rounds, then took the most pleasing 3 hour nap taken in weeks. How refreshing. It felt like a brand new day.

Got ready to go to town and buy some items forgotten on Thursday. Figured it is to rain today so it was a good time to go for the drive. Big Papa's Mkt saw a Big crowd. Vidalia onions were 88¢ a lb and all colors of bell peppers were $1.50. No need to go w/o.

Headed to my Greek friend's Gold House Pizza and Restaurant to order a meat Gyro (souvlaki) for lunch. Cost was 6.86 inc/tax. Like them. Think the steak bombs for a $1.20 more are my fave.

Shopped in WM and bought a few items during the flood of shoppers. Top of the list was cottage cheese. They ran out of the fat free version so the 4% was purchased for $1.86 a lb.

Crossed the lot to stop at Shaws. Really just wanted a small amount of sliced chicken breast to purchase to play their come on game "Monopoly." Perhaps a 50¢ off coupon will be won, that is $1 less everyday at WM.

55 million in Monopoly prizes at Albertson's and Shaws are touted. Both were owned by SuperValu of MN, who owns Sav-A-Lot from Maine to Cal, the Nation's leading discount food chain.

SuperValu also owns lots of market share, and former chain stores. (Scroll down.)

The temp is 34°F (1°C), with the high to be 56°F (13°C). There is a 90% chance of rain.

Have a splendid day!

Just made it! The Arch is the St. Louis Arch. Have pictures to post and pictures of my great grandson's first BD party. Was a nice day to sit in the Sun, in the shade it was a bit chilly and I had only a T shirt on, and yes I had pants on too!) :>))

Model numbers do matter, and it was a couple of years ago. Bought a Samsung 40" and love it. Hooked up thru a DVD player with wifi to watch Netflix streaming. Great picture.

Have seen "for a few dollars more" and most of Clint's movies. Listening to sound track now.

Doom was addicting to me, too! And was so intense that I would get an upset stomach. Finally quit it.

Have a good night

The River pix are full, no cut offs. What arch is that?

Model number means everything. Bought the Vizio 42 inch E420i-B0 LED Smart TV HDTV with a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Final cost $403. Playing outdoors instead of setting up the TV. Has superb reviews.

Really enjoy the new 24" Samsung LED monitor. Sharp, crisp graphics and true whites unlike the CRT one. Am highly thankful and satisfied saving $70 off list.

What a joy to play Starcraft and see HD movies. Played Starcraft and was lost for hours. StarCraft: Brood War is the expansion pack for the award winning military science fiction, real-time strategy video game StarCraft.

There may be no such thing as a perfect game, but StarCraft: Brood War comes durn close. A Real Time Strategy game that has stealth, base building, air and land assaults, sieges, squad building.

Having the 3 races is great for the reason that you have to learn how to use them separately because they are so different. The game is also addicting Have played it since 1998 when it exploded on the market.

Watch the 1965 pulse pounding spaghetti western film by Sergio Leone, "For A Few Dollars More" This is a Western, action & adventure movie rated "R" that runs 2 hrs 7 min.

It is about life and death in the old SW. Where life had no value, death, sometimes had its price. That is why bounty hunters appeared. Lee Van Cleef and Clint Eastwood star in this 2nd Dollars series.

Now on streamimng Netflix.com or free to watch on putlocker.bz. A classic Western with lots of whistling, singing, shooting and in many ways, curiously poetic.

Here is the original soundtrack. 2 min 48 sec. Here is the free movie on putlocker.bz 2 hr 12 min. 5/5 stars, to a lover of genuine Western action.

Spent an hour outdoors loving the warm windless afternoon. Temps reached 62°F (17°C) in blue cloudless skies. Enjoyed having the snow at the edge of the forest facing the sun completely melted to walk on the ground for over 100 ft. Shorts and a t-shirt were worn. The vitamin D felt healthy.

The temp is 28°F (-2°C), with the high to be 60°F (17°C).

Have a tremendous day!

Midnight, was posting last night and lights were out, wife was asleep. Screen went out and could not see anything. Thought we lost power (need to replace battery), got up to feel way to bathroom to see if lights were out. Must have touched power connection to comp and it came back up, but, lost post and have to start over this morning while waiting to check out and go to airport.

Man, awesome pictures of the Arch yesterday, from inside at the top and outside from behind the old courthouse. Will have to wait til we get home to download them. Spent all day in the museum and up in the arch. Wife did not go up, 6 years ago was enough for her.
Leaving 5:45am for airport, and have to pack.
If you haven't bought the Vizio, check Best buy and read the reports. Was going to buy Vizio 40" and did not like customers comments.
Don't remember the model. Bought Samsung and pleased with it.

Is good to buy Christmas gifts early to beat the crowd, but we don't exchange gifts, we buy what we want, so there is no exchange cause she don't like the buttons or ?

River picture cut off, saw part of falls, and like waterfalls.
FWD is good for muddy roads, but love my 4WD truck.

Better get going, is 5:23 and leaving 5:45am for airport.

Have a good day

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Left yesterday morning on welcomed frozen ground. The road was nicely solid to prevent getting stuck or spraying mud on my Dart. The other side of the loop road remains closed to thru traffic. It is the 5th day of mud so deep that two vehicles were towed out.

Arrived at the market early. Bought were snow peas for $3.50 a lb, cukes 3 for $2, 1 liter (33.7 oz) of evoo for $7, loose chestnuts for $3 a lb, green leaf lettuce for $1.50 a hd, red grapes $2.35 a lb, and a bottle of Cactus Joe Avocado Starter 24 oz just $1. Not much was needed as lots of veggies remain fresh in the fridge fro 1 and 2 weeks ago.

Decided to buy a Dell 24" flat LED monitor at WM for $169. My old CRT 21" monitor was going fast. The Degauss needed to be used increasingly more often (daily) to see the correct colors.

Then drove a ¼ ; mile to Staples to see a Samsung 24" higher quality LED monitor on sale for $149. Reg Price is $219. Bought the Samsung, then returned the Dell to WM. Am very happy with the super high picture quality of the Samsung made for gaming, industrial use, and graphics.

Getting caught up to the 21st Century rapidly. Good to buy Christmas presents for oneself. Especially those that are high quality and on sale.

Saw two geese and two ducks resting and threading water in the Ammonoosuc River. Soon there will be 1,000's returning. They often fly north at night. Hope to see each of their V formations during the day.

The temp is 43°F (6°C), with the high to be 54°F (12°C).

Have a delightful day!

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Interesting scare you had. Happy for you your grandson is 1 y/o. Happy Birthday to him and his proud family.

Hip w/o cartilage will never improve. Only w/a hip replacement. Coming up in a couple of months. Ham sub wasn't as good?

Was looking at sales that Best Buy, Amazon, and WM had on the internet for mid size TV's. Spent some hours comparing LED TV's on Tuesday and researched them further Wednesday morning at 5 AM. Found several with the kind of features that was wanted.

Decided on a VIZIO E420i-B0 42" LED Smart TV HDTV with a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Price was $428. If a 22.9% WM charge card was signed up for and used in 24 hours on an order over $75, a $25 discount on the total would be $403, the final cost.

After an extended time in thought and re-reading the terms several times, it was decided to apply for the cc card which was instantly accepted. Ordered the TV that was in stock at the Woodsville NH Super WM, 20 miles south of Littleton.

Arrived early for my dental 8:45 AM exam appointment. Naturally there was lots of paperwork to complete for my first visit. After a routine check and a panorama shot. We spoke extensively.

Many of my teeth are ground down due to excessive grinding. For the cost plus the time for the extensive work that would take months and months of tedious work, it was decided the fastest and most permanent care would be oral surgery and replacement dentures.

Am all for this to get the dental aspect over with asap. Now my ins has to approve the surgery and this could take up to 6 weeks before it is approved and an appointment made for the oral surgery. Times marches on.

Stopped in the same building to visit the ServiceLink Resource Center. It helps for free educational programs and free counselors to help people make choices about their futures such as financial planning, living arrangements, service availability, and social connections.

My health ins monthly premium increased 300% beginning in January. 30 minutes with a free counselor had me switch carriers so that beginning May 1st, there will be no cost for monthly medicine coverage. May cap is no more than $6.30 for all brand name med's. $2 and change for generics. Am all for this.

Cruised down the smooth US Rt 302 Blvd from Littleton to Woodsville in my Dart. Asked the Electronic Dept Mgr many questions on Vizio and LED TV's in general. Then my recipe for the order was shown, he got the pre-ordered TV and brought it to my car.

Across from me wa a young lady who had just parked in her Dart. Asked her how she liked hers. Said she bought it in Sept '2012, now has 17,000 miles on it, has no mechanical problems, and she loves the ride, comfort, and super acceleration from the turbocharger.

We spoke for 15 minutes. Told her mine has just over 700 miles and feels great for the few miles driven. Am getting 36-37 mpg away from the mtns and the engine is not even broken in until 1.000 miles.

Returned to Littleton to the Gold House Pizza. Parked on the Main St in front of the restaurant for 25¢ an hour on the meter. Ordered a 12" Steak Bomb Special, (onions, peppers, and mushrooms) and had a pleasing $8.06 tax/inc lunch.

Jim, the owner, was putting the finishing touches on 15 giant Greek salads to go, 6 18" pizza pies and a huge cardboard box full of drinks, chips and etc. It took the woman 3 trips to bring the order to her car. The Gold House is where the locals eat.

The temp is 20°F (-6°C), with the high to be 53°F (12°C). Will visit the market and other stores later.

Have a fantastic day!

Hi Midnight, Today is our Great Grandson's 1st birthday. Can't believe it has been a year since he was born. He is a happy baby, smiles at everybody and love to hear him giggle. He weighs 28 lbs and is solid, have trouble lifting him over my head, which he likes. Celebrating his BD Saturday is the reason we HAVE to be home Friday!

You must be getting "old timers disease" like me!

Had a scare yesterday, heard sound like a jet engine reving up and down. Looked out the window and saw very heavy rain, thought it may be a tornado, told wife to get in the bathroom and close the doors, went to front door and looked out, NO RAIN! Went to the balcony and opened the door, it was a company pressure washing our building! What a relief and felt like a dummy!

Hope that hip improves! I may try that race sometime. Seeing the things, reminds me of Doom. Loved it!

I like fresh pinapple and sample it as I am cutting it off the core. I bite off the little bit left on core and wind up with my lips burning! I only had a bowl of cerial before left this morning and stopped somewhere midway from Branson to St Louie and had our usual forest ham foot long sub, but it wasn't as good. Then had a small sandwich for supper. Making up for lunch buffet tomorrow at a hotel near the Arch that I liked.

Nice looking drive

Have a good nap

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Read your 4/5 post. Forgot the journey quickly. Not that brilliant before 4 AM. :o

Missed 'The Black Stallion' Has an excellent review. It is found on putlocker.bz, free to watch, as w/all other of their movies.

Wonderful your grandson is 1 y/o. Soon you can have lots of conversations and enjoy each other.

The Silverbow Honey IS a Great deal.

Used to get keys. Now a peel up 'cover'. Love to visit a car salesman and tell him "No name, no phone number, no email address." Ruins their day, makes mine!

Finished my posts very early yesterday morning. Took a 3 hour nap that was needed. My right hip was so sore from the many places walked the day before. The napped added much more comfort.

Rain arrived and it melted the final snow off the roof of my house. It has been about 6 months since rain was heard on roof. Also could hear the rain dripping onto the two propane tanks in the back of the house.

Played each of the three races that StarCraft offers. Commanding Terran, Protoss, or Zerg forces, players must complete a series of missions while managing resources, amassing armies and defending their base.

Each race is truly distinct with unique units, technologies, attributes, and abilities. A cinematic of the original StarCraft opening clip is here. 3:45 min.

Had a salubrious lunch of shrimp, veggies, and linguine made the day before. Dessert was a chunk of cored pineapple and cottage cheese. It was so good seconds were eaten.

Took a leisurely walk down to the foot of the driveway. Some of the gravel and lawn in between the tire tracks are seen. This is not my driveway.

Could smell Spring. The smell of thawing balsam firs are unmistakable. The air felt warm. It was 53°F (12°C). Soon the brooks will break out with the roar and echo of water heard in the distance. Some clear, sunny days are upon us. Spring has really arrived in the mtns.

The temp is 34°F (1°C), with the high to be 42°F (6°C). Off for my dental exam this morning.

Have a fabulous day!

I ♥ Life

Hi Midnight, on April 5, I posted that we were flying to St Louis and driving down to Branson. Today, we saw the "Son's of the Pioneers". Wasn't as good as the others, but sang songs that brought back memories.
We are leaving in the morning and driving back to St Louis until Friday, then home. Great Grand Son's 1st birthday party is Saturday. Can't believe he is 1 already.
Wife is happy about her coat, but hasn't worn it yet, just her old one.

Did not know about Mickey Rooney, one of my favorites. Have you seen him in "Black Stallion"? Good movie, probable out at least 15 years ago. All the boys loved Annette! Frankie is still with us, I believe.

We get those scratch offs from the local Chevy and Ford dealers. Some have a key, I just throw them in the can.

I like lo mein with all the vegies, shrimp! Silver bow honey looks like a deal, 6 5oz jars for $12

have a good night

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

There is a 50¢ off coupon printed inside the Greek yogurt/cc box. It expires in 2022!

Where are you seeing these great shows?

What a quark on finding the jacket for your wife. Keep 'em smiling & happy!

Was saddened to learn that veteran actor Mickey Rooney has died at the age of 93. Was a childhood fave as was Shirley Temple, Judy Garland, Frankie Avalon, and Annette Funicello.

Phoned the dentist on Saturday and left a message to ask if my appointment was today or Wednesday. The secretary phoned just after 8 AM. My appointment is on Wednesday morning, not this morning.

Made some shrimp lo mein using linguine instead of fettuccini for the noodles with broccoli, green beans, red bell peppers, onions, carrots, scallions and the thawed 14 oz pkg of 41 shrimp. Know snow peas, bok choy, and ginger is used in the real McCoy. Did not wish pay dbl at the local markets.

Read the forecast for Tues into Wed. It reads rain likely in the evening, then rain or snow, or sleet after midnight into Tuesday. Figured to get out as do a few errands, as my road will become a mud puddle and a soft mess during the rain.

Went to the market in Whitefield. Learned my friend took off 5 days from the meat dept. No deals to be seen. Bought a large half farmhouse coffee and French Vanilla at Cumberland Farms. Any coffee size is $1.08 inc/tax.

Drove back to Lancaster. Limped w/hip pain into Shaws and 4 other stores. Opened at the P.O. a Chevy Dealers pretend prize winning yellow envelope reading "You've won $2,000!" Will follow the farce to the end just learn more on this known fake win/sales scam.

Returned home just before the mtn gravel road turned into inches of soft slimy mud. Our forecast was to be 51. It reached a high of 62° in beautiful sunny skies w/few clouds. Water from the snow pack on my roof is not just dripping, it is pouring off.

Phoned the Silverbow Honey Company a family owned honey packing business located in Moses Lake, Washington at 12:30 PM my time. 9:30 AM PDT.

Asked the gal who answered the phone why my unopened bottles of honey are dark, like molasses. She asked several others around her and answered that honey reaching about 10 y/o turns dark and the flavor changes a tab bit more hearty. The honey is still good to use.

Said to freeze honey if one knows it will not be used for some years. Phoned my local honey packer/distributor to share the info. During my visit to them last week, the office folks told me they have never seen dark honey.

The temp is 37°F (3°C), with the high to be 52°F (11°C) and a 70% chance of precipitation all day. It is raining.

Have a wonderful day!

Midnight, I saw that, nice to get a raise! :>))

There is a Subway down the street from our resort, may try the Subway breakfast before we leave here. Sounds like a big bargain. We were at Super Walmart this morning, wish I had seen your post so we could have picked up yogurt with cream cheese or sour cream.

Sunny day today, a bit chilly. Took a ride this morning on a reverse route that I thought brought us here. Wound up going to old town, so we thought! Wasn't there! Going to Walmart, made a right turn to cross river, but was in wrong lane and ended in a new town, so it looks, with Bass Pro. Wife wanted to go inside and look for a jacket like she had some years ago, and had been looking for new one like it. Went into Bass Pro and she was looking on one side of rack and I went to other side and found a purple one and took it to her as a joke. It was what she had been looking for with inside pockets, and was marked down to $49! Told her, things happen for a reason, and that is why I was in wrong lane!

Another good show tonight, funny guy and 4 male singers and a lady singer.
One of the male singers was deep base and was good. They were all good, sang hymns, country, 50's thru 70's. At the end, the funny guy played every instrument and could really sing. Great show

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Starting today each of the first 5 gas prices reported per day will be worth 200 points each.

Perhaps the owner will retire. Four others are now w/o jobs.

Love the patriotic pix of the flag raised on Mt Suribachi! Also love an excellent magic show. Glad you saw one.

Try bb yogurt w/cottage cheese or the new Greek yogurt/cream cheese mix found at Super WM.

Temps warmed up wonderfully compared to just a week ago. Saw only 28° (-2°C) for a low last night. 44°F (7°C) was the high yesterday. Finished my rounds early after waking up much later, it was nearly 3 AM.

Prepared the crock pot with 2 thawed chicken breasts, green beans, carrots, and egg size red potatoes. Then went back to sleep. Woke up 90 minutes later, then decided to ready for a drive to my pal, the meat mgr in Whitefield.

He took Sunday off, his usual days off are Tues and Wed. No meat deals interested me. Even tho giant chicken leg quarters were 89¢ a lb. Went to that local Subway and bought the $3 breakfast combo.

Ordered a 6" flat bread breakfast egg, bacon, cheese sub with peppers, onions, and extra black olives, plus a large cup of 50% blonde and 50% French vanilla coffee. Nice to spend just $3.27 inc/tax.

Returned to make homemade gravy from the chicken breast and veggie drippings. Used cornstarch to make a fabulous tasting gravy. A cooked carrot or two is mashed up in the gravy to give it more taste and color. Onion and garlic are added as well.

Gave the meal a rest in the fridge for another time. Relaxed in the afternoon and listened to the baseball game on the internet.

The temp is 25°F (-4°C), with the high to be 51°F (10°C).

Have a pleasant day!

Midnight, got to link tonight. Shame an old store has to close, leaving a lot of people without.

Talking about servers, I had 2 messages timed out tonight and typing can't keep up with me and I am not a fast typer!

Went to a magician show today, and it was really good. The magician was pulling cards out of nowhere, parrots out of a scarf and disappearing acts. Put his wife in a fold up box down to about 15" square, put her in a cage of steel spikes and she dropped down (couldn't see it). Had a Vets thankyou session with a larger than life Marines raising the flag on MT Suribotchi(sp?)

Read last week that blueberries fights off cancer!! Wife eats a lot of Greek Yogurt, don't care that much for it. Do use it for sourcreme substitute.

That is pretty good mileage for the mountains

Have a GR8 week

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

The dealer sucks. period. Using my car to learn new technology.

GB does also sucks. Two days in a row their servers were down for 90 minutes early morning 7:30 to 9 AM. Their servers fouls links also. The Village Bookstore

When the sleet stopped at 9:30 AM it was time to get ready for a trip to the Super WM on US Rt 302 south using the new Dart. Brought the camera in hopes of getting some great big ice floes.

Lots of ice remains up north on both the CT or Ammonoosuc Rivers. Much more river water is seen flowing south of Littleton, NH in Woodsville, NH. No worthy shots on 40 miles of the rivers on the way down or on the return.

Did purchase some blueberry Lender's bagels that my WM never stocks. 6 bagels $1.58, low fat Greek yogurt mixed w/cream cheese is $1.78 for 8 oz, and a bag of a mix of shredded cheeses is $8.48 for 2 lbs.

Kept my rain check for 41/50 cooked medium size shrimp at Shaws in Littleton that is $5 for a 14 oz bag. Purchased 6 of them, the max, as my local WM has not stocked them in almost two months. WM are $6.98 for the same 14 oz size.

Stopped at my local Shaw's to buy a 1.5 quart (1.4 litre) of Turkey Hill banana split flavored ice cream. On the bottom half of Moose Tracks (Fudge ripple with peanut butter chips) bought Friday. 1.5 qt (1.4 l) for $1.99 on their Wicked Awesome 3 day Sale.

Averaged 38 mpg in 100 miles driven on the Dart to Woodsville and back. Not bad considering the steep hills between my house and Littleton. Up the hills sees 11, 9, or 7 mpg. Coasting downhill is 90 mpg.

The temp is 32°F (0°C), with the high to be 44°F (7°C). in pure sunny skies. Wind is has 18-32 mph gusts.

Have a splendid day!

Hi Midnight, seems like the dealer would have rebooted after working on something.

Tried to open the Village Bookstore and this is all it had "404 - File or directory not found". The Gold house has good looking pizza's!

We are in Branson, MO until next week, mostly to get away for a few days and see some new shows in Branson. Flew into St Louis Tuesday and drove down to Branson. Going back up to St Louis a couple of days before flight back. Want to see a few things. We have to be home Friday night, Great Grandsons 1st birthday party is Saturday. Can't believe he is 1 year old already.

The show we saw last night, Baldknockers, was the funniest show I have seen in many years, and it was clean! Haven't laughed that much in years! Highly recommend it to everyone. The tribute to Marty Robbins and John Denver was good.

Today at 2pm, we saw "SIX", was 6 brothers performing singing/dancing, but was not my type of music and loud. At intermission, we discussed leaving, but decided to see if it was different. It was, showed film clip of racing and wreaks, making all sounds by mouth. Then had some patriotic songs/video recognising attending Vets. Then showed a touching film clip of their mother, who had passed at age 52, with all 10 of her sons at ages, and their father. That was worth the stay.

Going to "the Pressley's" at 8pm.

Have a good last day of your weekend

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Went to Littleton and was going to points south to see if the CT River was nearing its ice break. The mileage reading was flashing on and off. It never did. Returned to the Dodge dealer and had them look at it.

40 minutes later the Service Mgr said it was all set. Said the brain needed to be rebooted, it was and the problem solved, Way to many visits on a brand new car, now with 600 miles.

Kept thinking how the mud was melting on my gravel road and wanted to return home asap to avoid the undercarriage and body from getting muddy. Shopped at a few stores in Littleton, paid the new refinance payment a month in advance and went home.

The fancy brick faced 12,000 sq ft The Village Bookstore had a sign on the front door reading it closed forever on Wednesday after 40 years. It was a hub and magnet to that town.

Many businesses fear that the closing of that store will keep people from visiting downtown as often as they did. Many used The Village Bookstore as their focal point and place to meet.

When the door opened at 11 AM, the usual time The Gold House opens, a visit to see my Greek pal saw a chat, smiles and good to see you once again. Ordered a mighty steak and cheese loaded with mushrooms, onions, and multicolored peppers.

Sure love the footlong cost of a massive steak bomb that is $8.06 inc tax. This is the Facebook page to The Gold House. Lots of photos and fun.

Realized on the drive home, that Staples was forgotten to be visited. Did want to buy a new printer, one with a cartilage for each color ink. Will return to that on Monday, as there is an appointment to have a dentist examine my teeth.

The temp is 36°F (2°C), with the high to be 43°F (6°C). Sleet likely with a chance of freezing rain this morning.

Have a tremendous day!

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Woke up so early yesterday morning that there was time for a 90 minute nap after my rounds before leaving for the market. The town paved the sharp turn at the bottom of the mtn road.

Water the night before had melted on the turn and then froze in the morning. Slide straight into the snow bank. Was thankful the bank was nearly 3' tall to prevent the free rental PT Cruiser from hitting the trees.

Bought at the market were red grapes at $1.50 a lb, broccoli crowns $12.38 a lb, baby bella mushrooms 10 oz for $2.28, 3 lbs carrots for $1.50, and Driscoll's strawberries $2.25 a lb.

Also bought were green beans $1.35 a lb, cukes 3/$2, Mineolas 4/$1, bananas, 49¢ a lb, Green leaf lettuce a $1.50 for a giant head, and a 6.5 lb pineapple that was cored for $2.75.

Decided to not drive back to Woodsville and went to Shaws to buy a 22 oz, 8" egg custard pie for $4.99. Asked a female baker if Miracle Whip goes well w/custard pie. She laughed well and said you must mean Cool Whip.

Visited my pal at Rite Aid and asked if he know his Chevy Cruze was to get a recall to check the front wheel drive axle as some are defective and keep the car from driving.

He said he did not get a recall yet. Chevy will wait until a few die and then recall the Cruze. Not far from the truth either. We had a good laugh over this.

Stopped at the local WM to buy bandaids, chicken noodle soup, and no fat cottage cheese oz for $1.88. My chosen topping for the custard pie and the fully ripe, juicy pineapple.

Visited Littleton's Subway and bought the footlong ham sub w/pepperjack cheese loaded with all the veggies, spinach included. My subway points have climbed to 1,077. 1 point for each $1 spent. 75 points for a free footlong. Have enough points for 14 free footlong subs. And some other goodies.

Mid afternoon the Service Mgr phoned to say the new radio was installed and they dbl checked that the entire car was fully functional. Returned the loaner PT Cruiser and paid $15 for my Dart's emission and inspection sticker (had a coupon) that was washed, waxed, and vacuumed. Drove home smiling and am thankful all went smoothly and well.

The temp is 21°F (-6°C), with the high to be 45°F (7°C).

Have a delightful day!

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

My 5/6th time reading this book. So much to learn 90% is forgotten.

Prayers the car is right. This time.

Left at 6 AM in twilight to drive to the Town of Woodsville NH on US Rt 302 West/NH Rt 10 South. Sunrise was at 6:20 with the temp 24°F (-4°C). The plan was take photos of the ice floes on the CT River and visit that town's super WM and have my 55-200mm lens looked at.

The mighty Ammonoosuc River runs beside US Rt 302 West/NH Rt 10 South. It is 55 mi (89 km) long, beginning in northwestern New Hampshire. It is a tributary of the Connecticut (CT) River, which flows to Long Island Sound.

"Ammonoosuc" is Abnaki for "small, narrow fishing place". The word "Connecticut" is a French corruption of the Mohegan word quinetucket, which means "beside the long, tidal river"

The CT Rivers passes through 11 villages and towns, then collects the Gale River in the Town of Lisbon, NH and the Wild Ammonoosuc River in Bath. Both then merge with the CT River and travels it length with 51 other rivers emptying into it.

The CT River begins at the Canadian border in the most northern Town of Pittsburg, NH and flows south for 410 miles (660 km) through four U.S. states before emptying into Long Island Sound. The CT River produces 70% of Long Island Sound's freshwater.

Saw 9 ducks flying back south. They came up north way too early. The CT River has not broken out 50% yet. Tiny ice floes are present and many parts of the CT River in The Town of Woodsville, NH are still frozen over.

Brought my Nikon D3100 to the super WM store. The fellow who is the camera mgr agrees the 55-200mm lens is defective set on auto. It works on manual. Plan to call the Nikon Co and ask them to repair it.

Stopped at Bath, NH covered bridge to take a few dozen photos of the rebuilding process. Found it fascinating that a steel bridge needed to be built to support the wooden bridge during remodeling. The covered bridge looks to be 50% completed. It may open by this fall.

Have lots of the Town of Bath, NH photos, CT River along some 30 miles, and Ammonoosuc River photos flowing through the Town of Littleton, NH. Will one day create several albums with links for all to view the springtime scenes.

The temp is 26°F (-3°C), with the high to be 38°F (3°C). Off to the market and a few other stores in my free loaner PT Cruiser from the dealer. The Dart is expected to be completed on Monday.

Have a fantastic day!

Hi Midnight, sounds like you like that book. I don't read a lot other than the newspapers. I think I have a touch of ADD, when reading a book, I forget what I have read.

Nice of the dealer coming to pick you up and give you a free rental, that is the least that they can do! Hope they get your car right this time.

Have a good evening.

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

During late afternoon yesterday rec'd a phone call from my local library. The book that was wanted from the State Lending Library had arrived. It is "Reading the Forested Landscape" by Tom Wessels. 200 pages

His 20 year study in vivid original detail of trees and the landscape in New England. Each chapter focuses on a single form of disturbance — either man made or natural — that impacts the region's forests.

The chapters focus on logging, pasture abandonment, fire, beaver activity, blow downs, forest blights, topography, substrate and their impact on the plants and land located near these disturbances.

The book includes a number of useful appendices, covering such varied topics as a chronology of New England history, key kinds of evidence to look for in the woods, common woody and non-woody plants, a glossary, and a bibliography.

It is such a delight to me that it is my 6th time reading it in 15 years. Am most thankful to have "Reading the Forested Landscape" for 2 weeks to study the forest like a detective investigates a crime scene.

Knew the radio on the Dart would not be delivered to the dealer yesterday or even today. In fact the dealer said it could take up to 3 days. Phoned the dealer to request a compact car for delivery in the afternoon. Hoping to get a Chevy Cruze (37 mpg) to compare features w/my Dart.

Temps soared into the high 40's yesterday and will all week. Did get out and enjoy the sun, which is now just above the trees. Went up to the custom log cabin and returned. Looks like those folks have not been there all winter.

Breaking vehicle update:

Dealer has a free rental for me. The Service Mgr took 30 minutes to drive here, pick me up, and return me to the dealership. He offered me a used Jeep Cherokee for a loaner. Said no thank you.

What a look he gave me! Said a compact car is preferred. Then he asked how about a '09 PT Cruiser w/87k miles from his Used Car lot. Thanked him in front of other employees for "going the extra mile." He said it could be until Monday my Dart is completed. Do believe him.

The temp is 26°F (-3°C), with the high to be 46°F (8°C) in rich blue, sunny skies.

Have a fabulous day!

Began 5 hours of driving places to go and lots of errand at 8:30 AM. Drove to the quaint Town of Franconia, NH. Needed my insurance agency to change the lien holder to the name of the credit union for process the loan.

All went great at the Ins Co. They gave me a full color 2014 calendar with beautiful nature scenes, an expensive 2014 appointment planner, two vinyl/rubber like stickers that go over a newly cracked window to contain it, the new binder, a copy for myself and a new ins card with the off hours 800 biz number.

Returned to Littleton with a little extra time so a visit to Staples to see their newest printers on sale was done. May even buy one that has 4 separate ink colors plus two other functions and a fax.

Then went to meet the young female bank loan officer at the CU. She like the new binder and all documents were prepared and signed to agree to a 2.25% refinance. Continuing my current payment at this CU will save me 2 of the final payments. Am very happy.

Visited the dealership to ask how were repairs going. The Service Mgr said it definitely is the radio that is defective. A new has been ordered. It may arrive Tuesday or Wednesday.

Somehow it feels it will take much longer. Mgr said when the new radio is installed the Uconnect and all comes together. Dashboard is removed and remains that way to facilitate the installation of the new replacement radio.

Drove to the Propane company to prompt pay discount. Propane is down to $3.149 a gallon. It was $267.9 in early December and all last year.

Visited a local Real Estate Firm to ask about a ball game schedule. Had a fun time chatting with the owners daughter. She showed me pix of her daughter and son two days in Ft Myers, FL excited at meeting several of the home team's baseball players.

Went to the P.O. and then the Record Dept of the local hospital to see if my records were transferred. The gal was surprised that it has been more than 30 days since the authorization letter was sent and confirmed it arrived. She phoned the other facility to ask to send them along as the door was walked out.

The temp is 28°F (-2°C), with the high to be 48°F (9°C).

Have a wonderful day!

I ♥ Life

I agree on that about dealers, many stories

Don't watch much baseball on tv

Don't eat many burgers anymore, but for that price, probably would

Thanks on the Putlocker.bz info. Will check it out later, couple of days or so. Heading out in the morning.

Have a good night

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Think most dealers are crooks And their mechanics. Years of experience proves it, from CA to NH.

Plan on the finishing touches of getting the refinancing completed this morning. Will be very happy when the Dart is returned working perfectly. Happy days!

Six months of waiting, now six months of ballgames. Today is the opening day of Major League baseball. Live coverage begins at 9 AM on MLB.com. Now it IS Spring.

Decided at 9:30 yesterday morning that the mostly rain and little sleet falling was safe enough to drive in. Hopped in the Neon, down the mtn road w/o a problem arrived on US Rt3 south and then US Rt 302 east into the Town of North Conway, NH.

Thoughts of the Neon being taken off the road tomorrow, my Dart at the dealer to correct a slight Uconnect malfunction, gave me the urge to get on a 105 miles r.t. drive. My destination was Dairy Queen. The only one within 100 miles.

Ordered not fast food, fun food, that takes time to prepare. Had the ¼ lb bacon cheeseburger w/onions, lettuce, pickles, and tomato. Then broke all of my own rules. Had fries, ketchup, and Barq's root beer. All this w/a Sr discount cost just $6.37 tax included.

It rained much of the drive through the spectacular Crawford Notch. Clouds were at times floating across the highway. The NHDOT was out in force plowing, salting, and sanding. No dramatic photos to share. Yet a very safe drive.

Watched a fantastic movie "Somewhere Between." 88 min. This is Linda Goldstein Knowlton's ("The World According to Sesame Street") deeply moving documentary on four adopted Chinese children growing up in America.

The film intimately follows four female teenagers: Haley, Jenna, Ann, and Fang. These four wise-beyond-their-years, yet typical, American teens reveal a heartbreaking sense of self-awareness as they attempt to answer the uniquely human question, “Who am I?”

80,000 girls have been adopted from China since 1989 — a decade after China implemented its One Child Policy. These four teens meet and bond with other adoptees, some journey back to China to reconnect with the culture, and some reach out to the orphaned girls left behind.

In their own ways, all attempt to make sense of their complex identities. This superb movie is in English, Mandarin, and Spanish with subtitles. Have a box of tissues. 5/5 stars.

You've been excellent readers and as a reward, will pass on a free internet movie site. It has the lastest and newest movies added each day with a strong archive of past movies. The site is putlocker.bz All free movies 24/7.

The temp is 30°F (-1°C), with the high to be 38°F (3°C). There is a 50% chance for sleet and freezing rain this morning w/a 70% chance of rain, snow, sleet and freezing rain in the afternoon.

Plan to take a scenic drive to my ins co in Franconia, then take the binder w/the new lien holder to the Credit Union and sign the refinanced loan of 2.25%. A visit to the dealership to discuss the slight Uconnect problem in my new Dart will be made.

Have a pleasant day!

Had to post before midnight

Dart staying at dealers is a good way to get it fixed. I hate dealers! They lie!

I get those "save $300" all the time. May start sending them back and just say remove my name from your list, only if there is a postage paid envelope included.

That young lady is an excellant employee and most likely loves her job. Always room for another friend

As I said above about dealers, they lie. Think your are justified in a rental, but, I would see the GM.

Sounds like a good CU

We had fair temps today but a lot of light rain

Have a good night

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Just added Safe Haven to my watch list. Reviews are good on it.

Dart will stay at the dealer's 'til fixed. Details below.

Love the lowest interest rate ever. $6 less a month than the original loan.

Stopped at the P.O. and had yet another car ins Co, write me saying, "Many saved over $300 a year on their ins." Starting to keep them to see if any are less than my ins agent. The other factor is if there are Co Adjusters in this area.

Passed up cod caught at sea on sale this w/e only for $4.88 a lb at my local Shaw's. Also passed was St Louis style spare ribs. Did buy almost 2 lbs of asparagus during the Wicked Awesome 3 Day Sale.

Drove south to my pal's store where he is the meat mgr. He rewarded himself by taking Saturday off. Bought some rare roast beef that thin sliced for me. The temps climbed into the mid 40's, with great blue skies and few clouds.

Visited the recently opened Family Dollar in Littleton. Asked the young lady at the checkout desk if they sold oyster crackers. With just 1 other customer in the store, this woman showed me the crackers.

Then she proceeded to give me tour of the entire store showing me the many items in stock. Paid the $1, thanked her for the store tour, and told her it was pleasant to meet her. Must have made a friend.

Stopped at the Dodge dealership and asked the Service Mgr what is happening w/the repairs. He said there is a bad ground or a short in the Uconnect feature. Said the shop and Mfr were working together to fix the slight malfunction.

He said the issue may be corrected on Monday w/the factory experts using their expertise. He also said there is no guarantee it will be corrected on Monday. Will phone him Monday and let him know my Neon registration expires at midnight and a free rental will be needed.

Stopped at the Credit Union and forgot the bank was closed on Saturdays Checked my balance on the ATM machine and the female loan officer came out into the lobby and said my loan at a very low 2.25% was approved for 28 months.

She forgot to tell me Friday that the Credit Union needs the ins binder with the bank's name as the mortgage holder. So will visit my ins co in the lovely Town of Franconia, NH(pix mid page) to have a new contact made Monday morning.

Then return to the Northern Lights Credit Union to sign my new loan contract. It will be a beautiful drive though with a 50% chance of sleet.

The temp is 35°F (1.6°C), with the high to be 37°F (2.7°C). Light rain now, sleet/snow up to 3".

Have a splendid day!

Midnight, and I do tap the break or put flashers on and coast.

Just watched "Safe Haven" on Netflix, great movie.

Glad you are able to get leak fixed. Had a windshield replaced 12-15 years ago that started leaking and smelling like mildew. Took it back and told them the wife is allergic to mold and mildew and needed it fixed now. No problem

Wow, 2.25% rate is great!

Have a GR8 weekend

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Good you figured the posting problem. Cars are so close you can not see their license plates? Tap the brake~!!

Saw an inch of snow yesterday morning. Lots of large pebbles in the mtn road made it safe to drive down in the new Dart. Went to the dealer and had the Servicer Mgr see a new issue.

There was a leak in the driver's column and ceiling headliner junction. This apparently was caused from the time the headliner was removed to replace the shorted out radio antennae cable.

The gas tank cover was also loose from an earlier replacement. The Service Mgr told me it would be 4-5 hours, perhaps even longer to repair those three issues. Also was in there for a half cost inspection and emission sticker.

The local (and only) car rental was not answering their phone in the morning. Was antsy to hang out for another hour. Asked for and rec'd a ride home until my car was ready. Car should be completed today

Phoned the Credit Union and explained the car would be many more hours than anticipated. The gal understood that the contract with the 2.25% refinance would be signed on the way home today.

The temp is 32°F (0°C), with the high to be 44°F (7°C). Springtime continues in the mtns.

Have a delightful day!

Midnight, think the post are cleared up, realized why. As I was closing site, saw my post was not posted and it went away. Not yet, my list says I don't have any ignored buddies.

Try to be happy daily

You are right about the back-up camera. I can almost drive backward to my house, to drop paper off, as well as driving forward! Too bad can't just turn it on for tailgaters, and get their license plate number.

Gotta post have a good night

Good morning!

Hope the post and ignore issues are cleared up. Love the back up camera. One fabulous idea.

Be Happy always!

It was a cold beginning 3°F (-16°C) to a pleasing sunny day with few clouds in the sky. Enjoyed the warm up that reached 32°F (17°C). The afternoon felt like a jacket was not needed. A jacket was needed.

Left early morning in the Neon for a bumpy ride to Bid Papa's Fruit and Vegetable Market in Littleton. The State DOT crew were cold patching the potholes in the CT River Hwy (Rt 135).

Was 10 minutes early and the first customer at the market. Bought were green beans $1.18 a lb, giant heads of green leaf lettuce $1.50 ea, 2.5 lbs of spinach $6, avocados 88¢ ea, and 24 oz bottles of Cactus Joe's guacamole starter for $1.

Also bought were brocolli crowns $1.38 a lb, superb juicy red grapes from Chile for $1.94 a lb, baby bella mushrooms 10 oz for $2.28, ckes .67¢, tomatoes $1.25 a lb, and softball size oranges for 50¢ ea.

Here is the updated link to Big Papa's Fruit and Produce Mkt in Littleton, NH. Lots of prices, photos, and fun.

Visited my pal the store mgr of Rite Aid to ask further Q's about his new Chevy Cruze Eco and shoot the breeze about many subjects. Off to WM for just a couple of items. They still do not have the peel and eat 41/50 shrimp.

Stopped in my Credit Union for the Deal of The Century. They offer new car loans up to 36 months for an amazing low 2.25%. Refinanced my 2.99% loan and with the $35 app fee ($1.25 a month), will save a whopping $3.50 per month.

It still saves me nearly $100 on interest and 2 less payments, due to me paying more than required. Have 28 (- the last 2) remaining, far under $150 a month. Will get a higher credit rating, in 2-3 months. Works for me.

Have an 8 AM appointment for free Dodge Dart Uconnect updates at the dealer. Then a 10 AM appointment to sign the lowest finance percentage (2.25%) that was ever on any of my vehicles.

The temp is 30°F (-1°C), with the high to be 42°F (4°C). There is a 100% chance of sleet or snow with freezing rain in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. Spring time in the mtns.

Have a delightful day!

I see why some of my post are disappearing, I just posted and went to another site. As I was hitting enter, saw post was in spell check and disappeared.

Think I hit the Ignore button is why Turtle disappeared and cannot even send message to her.

That is same Gorilla lock I have.

Don't have Uconnect on my vehicles.

Yep, Catch me if you can is a good flick, need to watch it again.

Have a good evening

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

Good the blockage was on the sewer side. WTG!

You saw the post one minute. Then when you looked again it vanished. That had happened to me about 6x.

Does the trailer have a gorilla lock that looks something like this?

Nice to see lots of snow falling in the ocean, in the center of Maine and downeast. None fell here during the storm. Not minding that at all. Our 38" + of snow has nicely consolidated into 32". This is measured away from my house.

Paid for the 2013 Dart's town and state registration on Tuesday and called for a state inspection plus emissions check and the free updates to my Uconnect. The back up camera shows the view on the screen.

It is a voice command, entertainment, phone, navigation and controls on my Dart. Have a appointment first thing Friday morning. If the conditions are safe. It is the rain and sleet. Will not drive down the mtn road unless it is freshly sanded.

Saw the fantastic movie, "Catch Me If You Can," (2002) 141 min. It is a biography, crime, and drama directed by Steven Spielberg with Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Martin Sheen, James Brolin, and many more stars.

An FBI agent hunts down a young con artist who successfully impersonated an airline pilot, doctor, and assistant attorney general, cashing more than $2.5 million in fraudulent checks in 26 countries.

All this at 18 y/o! Serving less than 5 years in prison, the FBI asked him to join their Check Fraud Div. Since 1974 Frank Abagnale Jr has helped capture the World' most elusive check forgers and counterfeiters.

Abagnale is one of the Worlds' leading authorities on bank fraud and forgery. He has designed many of the secure checks that banks and Fortune 500 Co's use. His salary is millions of dollars annually. Gave this movie 5/5 stars.

The temp is 9°F (-13°C), with the high to touch 30°F (-1°C). Off to buy a few items at the market and other stores later.

Have a fantastic day!

Midnight, Well, the stopped up drain in Williamsburg house turned out what I said, the blockage was on the sewer side of the house. They sent out a big truck and they ran a hose toward the house. At about 20ft past the curb, they hit something solid. Changed the tip on the hose and that took care of the blockage. Yea! But, have to go back to get my trailer, had forgotten the key to the gorilla lock! It was hanging on the key hook.

Tonight in VA Beach site, TT's post disappeared after I saw it. I am tired, but not that tired.

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

You just forget to post and then blame it on GB. Ha Ha HA! ; )

Some idiot woman phoned at 11:45 PM Monday night. Twice in a row. Was just equally an idiot to forgot to turn off the phone ringer. The answering machine picked up, volume was off. Both times no message were left. Used the reverse look up feature on Whitepages.com to find out who it was. No one that is known. Heck of a time for a wrong number.

Completed my posts yesterday morning, then took a needed 2.5 hour nap. Got up to ready for registering my Dart. Only had 6 days remaining. Do not think my Neon registration will be renewed. May register it in June.

Visited my pal the mgr at Rite Aid in Littleton. He bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze. He will dive his other well used car while his wife parades around the area in the new Chevy.

He asked why a new car was bought if not being used. Said I was keeping the Dart as a spare. He said park the Dart then and drive the Neon. It does cost $250 a month for ins, reg, and payments for the Dart.

Decided to have a 12" steak and cheese w/mushrooms, onions, and red bell peppers. A quite filling delicious meal for just $8.06 tax inc. Other places are $9.27 & $9.47. Skids was the largest amount for just $7.62. Sure do miss that Truck Stop.

GB does it best to vanish post and mess up links. If you wonder why it takes up to 5 seconds for a simple page to load, sometimes nearly 10, it is the GB servers. This site checks any website's loading speed.

The low yesterday was -11°F (-24°C). Spring has to be around the corner. Somewhere. The temp this morning is 8°F (-13°C) with the high to be 28°F (-2°C) . Northern NH is just missing a nor'easter this w/e. May see a gentle 1-3" of snow while the downeast coast of Maine and Cape Cod get pounded with snow and high winds.

Have a fabulous day!

Good morning!

I ♥ Life!

So glad for you that your c days and stripes have been returned. Any reasons given while posts vanish? Has happened to me perhaps 6-7 times.

Something fell in the toilet. Sometimes roots do grow inside. Doubt it is roots. Sleep well.

While the temp was 13° below 0 (-25°C) yesterday morning, a crock pot pasta meal was prepared. Diced mushrooms, onions, red bell peppers, with two eggs stirred w/oatmeal, goat's and Romano cheese added.

Then sausage and ground up pork sirloin roasts were mixed in. The sauce was heated while the meatballs are prepared. Use evoo on one hand, add a heaping tsp size scoop and the smaller than a ping pong ball sized meatballs are rolled around the hand to form.

Used farfalle (bow ties) cooked al dente in the microwave. When the water boils a tsp of Kosher salt is added for flavor and the temp is reduced to level 6. It is slow boiled for 11- 12 minutes. Meatballs are cooked until just barely done. Like mine soft and juicy, never dry and hard.

A fabulous movie "48 Hours" A detective (Nick Nolte) paroles a wise cracking hustler (Eddie Murphy) to help him catch a pair of escaped cop killers, but the odd couple only has 48 hours to get the job done. 5/5 stars.

Saw that GB was down once again for 30 minutes or so from about 7:20 to 7:50. All other sites worked fast. GB was down just a few days ago. It can take this site 5-10 seconds just to load one page. Any website speed test is here.

Got my Dart stuck in the light down slope in my driveway Sunday night. Used the snow thrower to dig out the car. Then hand shoveled and added a half bucket of sand over me three tries and two snow thrower sessions to free the Dart.

Now completely out of sand, the Neon was taken to the Town Garage to fill a 5 gallon bucket with sand, salt and pebbles. Learned many y/o a supply of sand is needed at all times. It may rain later in the week, which turns to ice.

Used the snow thrower to circle the house and skirt the exterior walls of my home with snow 5' high. Snow acts as insulation. Should have done this in December. Would have saved some money on heat.

Was out there for 4 hours with both projects. Achy, legs were cold, my hip killed me, upset with myself for getting stuck, drained physically and mentally from the ordeal. One interesting Monday.

The temp is -10°F (-23°C) and falling, with the high to touch 30°F (-1°C).

Have a wonderful day!
