cloudy, windy tweet

Hiya iceeman99, Claudie and Dr. Tx2. Thanks for dropping by.

Claudie - Thank you. I guess that smiley means you did get some porch time yesterday. Good. :)

It looks like your trip to WM and your mom's doctor visit went pretty well today. Hope her numbers come back good for that one and she doesn't have to go again for three months.

If it isn't raining yet, more porch time? :) Enjoy the rest of your day.

Dr. T - Thank you twice. KHF's yard looks like it is well taken care of and it has to be a lot of work to make it look like that. I would never be able to do that. Of course, I have a black thumb so that doesn't help much. Plants take one look at me and die. :)

That's good that you are going to the valley Friday. Get those pesky wipers fixed and have lunch with your son since you couldn't last time because he was sick. Glad to see that your vehicle is safe from the recall so far. Hope it stays that way.

Interesting background info. I didn't know there had originally been two separate Earth Days. Of course at that time, I was wearing a uniform and not really keeping up with current events.

Nice pics from the county website. You sure have some beautiful scenery out there.

Have A Great Evening Everyone!

P.S. Lighting hope your day is going well. Take care.

Good Morning XP,
Yum...you know what I'm referring to. :-)

Some areas do look jungle-ish. Her yard takes soooo much time to come close to keeping it up. It looked really good this year. The draught this year hasn't helped it, though. With reduced rain she has had to do more watering. As she said in TL, they are being cut 20%, but she buys more irrigation water than she needs so that will help.

The reason I am going to the Valley on Friday is to have lunch with my son. The wipers will get looked at because I'm there. I tried them yesterday and strange, but I didn't hear as much clunking. I'll check again as we will have more rain between now and Friday. I did phone and I don't need an appointment.
What I need to do is go on line and check my VIN number again to make sure my vehicle hasn't been added to the recall list. I did check before vacation.

I hope your day has gone well and your afternoon and evening are not harried and enjoyable.

Today is National Earth Day. (Some History)

Each year on April 22, it is National Earth Day. This annual day is held to demonstrate support for environmental protection.

John McConnell pioneered the name and concept of Earth Day in 1969 at a UNESCO Conference in San Francisco. His thought, for Earth Day, was to have it be the first day of spring, March 21, 1970 and that day was sanctioned in a Proclamation signed by Secretary General U Thant at the United Nations. One month later a separate Earth Day, focused on the United States, was founded by United States Senator Gaylord Nelson. This day was created to be an environmental teach-in to be held on April 22, 1970. The original national coordinator in 1970, Denis Hayes, launched an organization and took it international in 1990, organizing events in 141 nations.

In 2009, the April 22 date was designated as International Mother Earth Day by a consensus resolution adopted by the United Nations. The Earth Day Network now globally coordinates Earth Day and it is annually celebrated in more than 192 countries.

Good morning, XP,

Porch time? :)

It's Tuesday, so I'm taking Mom to the store this morning. On the way back, we'll stop at the cardiologist's office to have blood drawn so Mom's potassium and sodium numbers can be checked. It's supposed to rain today, but thankfully not 'til later. Should be a dry day for our trip out. :)

Have a great day!

overcast tweet

Hiya Claudie, Dr. T and Don. Thanks for dropping by. I had this all done and thought I hit post but that wasn't it. Whatever it was wiped out the whole thing. :(

Claudie - Thank you. I see the yard guy has been and gone doing his usual good job for you. :)

Beautiful day...hmmmmm. Bet that means some porch time coming this afternoon. :)

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Dr. T - Thank you. That is one big, beautiful rose bush. Never seen one like that. Huge just doesn't do it justice. I did share it with C. earlier and she was amazed.

KHF has quite the jungle there from the sounds of it.

Just about everything that I planted that was supposed to last didn't. My spruce trees are dying from some incurable bacterial disease they get. My Lombardy poplars lasted about l5 years and they are all deceased.

You have your blasted pine trees and I have my blasted elm trees. Those dirty things just can't be killed. They just produce sticks and broken limbs and keep growing.

C. didn't plant anything last year. I don't know if she will this year or not. So far she hasn't said anything about it.

Too bad you have to make that trip to get the wipers fixed but if you have to you have to. You need them and you don't need the noise.

Don - Thank you. Looks and feels like rain here this afternoon. At least it warmed up some and I have some windows open. It's in the low 70's now but it supposed to cool off some the next couple days.

Hope you're having a really nice day.

Have A Great Evening Everyone!

P.S. Lighting hope your day is going well. Take care.

Good Morning XP,

What you are looking at is a Charlotte Bruner rose bush that is growing in KHF's yard. That's ONE bush as in singular. Also keep in mind that you are looking at only one side of it. Too bad I couldn't take one pic of the entire rose bush.

KHF says the rose was planted by the lady who was the original owner of her house, so she is guessing that it is over 50 years o*d.

XP, do show the rose pic to C. Hard to believe it's so BIG. She also has a few evergreens that are sky high that she told me she planted, and at one time there was space between them for other plants. Then she also has a HUGE lemon tree. I could go on. After 38 years there you can imagine how big some of her bushes/trees are. I don't know how long shrubbery/trees live where you are located, but here, except for the blasted pine trees, everything seems to die after a few years. I'd love to have all the money we/I spent on plants over the last 25 years. I'm not counting annuals since you expect them to die each year.
Reminds me that I'd better look at plants when I go to town today, maybe. :-)
Does C. plant annuals each year or not?
I do know you "plant" sticks each year. Good thing they don't take root. <G>

Reading back, the blackberry vines never die, either.

The wiper noise was very annoying, #1 the sound and #2 I have to go back to the dealer. At least L. told me it's an easy fix, but #2 still applies.

I hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable Easter Sunday, and now you are ready for the final full week in April.

sunny Easter tweet

Hiya Dr. T, Claudie and Don. Thanks for dropping by and Happy Easter to all of you.

Dr. T - Thank you. The movie loaded fairly fast for me. I think that site always has. We both enjoyed Alan's version of one of our favorite hymns. Beautiful movie.

I would imagine that trip seemed like it would never end. Been quite a while since I drove a trip that length. Not sure I could even do it anymore.

Wipers running past their stops or not hitting the glass square? The noise you described would really be annoying either way.

Claudie - Thank you and you're welcome. I'm glad you had a fun day. I thought you would enjoy the pottery place.

Well, we have spring sprung today and tomorrow anyway. Supposed to rain tomorrow and drop into the 50's for the middle of the week. More normal for this time of year for us.

Hope you are kicked back and resting now. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Don - Thank you. Happy Easter to you and K. too. :) Hope the Easter Bunny brought you lots of candy. :)

Hope you are having a really nice day.

Have A Great Afternoon & Evening Everyone!

P.S. Lighting hope your day is going well for you. Take care.

Good morning, XP,

Happy Easter!

Thanks for the birthday wishes. It was a fun day, esp. the visit to the pottery place.

I read at TUrtLE's place that you're supposed to get temps in the 60s or 70s today. Alright! Spring has sprung?

It should be a nice quiet day for me today. Yeah, I really need it, too.

Have a great day!

Happy Easter XP and C,
Movie loaded much faster at home, and I did not have a cookie set. Reminds me that I need to send back son's gadget on Monday. He kept emailing me to try it again. I think not. I didn't need any more frustration.
Drive home was uneventful other that LONG, LONG and LONGER. :-)
At least I didn't have much rain. I have to go back to Toyota and have them adjust the wipers; clunk, clunk, cluck. L of D and L tells me they can be adjusted. Good! I was ready to have them put the ol* ones back on.

Whatever you do today I hope you enjoy yourself.

Your Easter Sunday movie is, The Old Rugged Cross sung by Alan Jackson.

"So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown."

May you have a blessed Easter.

Hiya Claudie and Lighting. Thanks for dropping by.

Claudie - **HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!** May you have many more healthy and happy ones. :)

Yay! The pollen has been almost knocked out. That should get some doors and windows open when it's warm enough. :)

That ceramics place sounds like it will be a fun time for all. You'll probably have as much fun watching as the kids do painting. :)

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Lighting - Thank you. As long as you were dressed for it, I suppose you're right. It is a job and it's money. :)

Hope you can get in some work today and then you can rest up tomorrow.

Baseball and movies sounds good to me.

Hope your day is going well for you. Take care.

Good morning, XP,

YES! <pumps fist> The rain has knocked that pollen count down to 325 (it pretty much rained all day yesterday); I checked the rain gauge and there's 1.4 inches in it!)! Still considered 'high,' but nothing like it even was!

Well, I thought I'd be staying home today, but that has changed. :) There is a pottery/ceramics place in our little town, and Daughter decided she wanted to take the kids there to pick a piece of pottery and then paint it (it's supposed to be another drizzly, dreary day here, so no playing outside). She wanted to know if Alhana (who's here for the weekend) wanted to go, too. Of course, she said yeah! So here are today's plans....Son, Alhana, and I will meet Daughter at the pottery place at 11 AM, and the kids will all do their thing. After that, we'll all go somewhere and have lunch (I'll call hubby to meet us there). It should be a good time. :)

Have a great day!

windy, almost sunny tweet

Hiya Claudie, Don, doc, and Dr. T. Thanks for dropping by.

Claudie - Thank you. I see you are getting your rain and away will go the pollen. :)

Hope you are enjoying your stay at home day today. :)

Don - Thank you. I was really hoping for better news but at least you're still trying. Just keep doing the best you can. Guess it's going to be a long slow process but eventually it should be a lot better.

You will be going back to the gym someday for sure. I have confidence in you. Actually, we both do. You will get better. :)

Hope you are enjoying your warm day as much as you can.

doc - Thank you. Sounds like a nice warm weekend for you. I think your rain is coming up here but not until Monday.

You're right about it taking a lot of the fun out of it. Don't know what they've been doing but whatever it was it needs to cease.

Hope you have a safe and enjoyable weekend too.

Dr. T - Thank you. That's another beautiful picture of some pretty flowers. You done good again. :)

Yes, everything went normally this morning. Just about the opposite of the day before.

Good idea rejecting the stuff you didn't like and it didn't like you either. Could be the onions or even the type of onions. I like them all but certain kinds don't agree with me.

You seem to have had really nice weather for your visit and that's great. Hope it's a gentle easy rain you'll be driving into on the way home.

Appreciate the heads up about the movie. With any luck I'll have a decent connection and it will go smoothly.

Just as well not turning the computer on tomorrow morning. You'll have enough other things to do without that.

I like all of the food spoilage tips today but that last one is the best. :)

Have A Great Evening Everyone!

P.S. Lighting it sounds like it's raining on you again. Take care.

Good Morning XP,
Have a look at a picture I took of KHF's snap dragons.

All must have been okay for you this morning, correct?
KHF wanted to know if I was taking pizza home to eat on the way. I think, not. Also a not, the leftovers from yesterday. I think the raw onion in the foods didn't like me. Will take something else with me.

I'll sure enjoy a final day of sun here. I haven't checked the weather reports yet today, but I'll have sun at least till the border which is half way. After that, not sure where the rain will begin.

Today we will either take the dogs for a walk when she returns from the gym or...will walk somewhere.

Oh yes, wanted to let you know the movie may take awhile to load for you. It's not Vimeo, but from another site I have used before. It took forever to load with KHF's system until I downloaded it once and the cookie was set.

Have a wonderful afternoon/evening.
I won't be back in your home until Sunday afternoon.
Not going to turn the computer on Sat. before I leave.

I'm not going out anywhere today, and I sure am glad since rain's supposed to be moving in soon. Good, so it can wash away more of the pollen, though, the count's about the same as yesterday. :)

Hiya Claudie, Lighting, Don, and Dr. T. Thanks for dropping by.

Claudie - Thank you. That's great news about Mr. Claudie. Sounds like he's really doing well now.

Glad to see your pollen count is back down where it belongs. You can even open the doors and windows now without a mask. Might even get in some porch time.

Looks like all your morning errands went well for you. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Lighting - Sounds like you have been pretty busy. Glad to see you're still helping take care of your dad. I imagine he likes that.

You haven't missed much on here. The site hasn't been working worth a crap most of the week anyway.

It definitely has been a weird year for weather so far. Don't know who or what is causing it but something sure is.

Hope today is going well for you. Take care.

Don - Thank you. Sure do hope you're getting better and better as the days go by. You might even be going back to the gym sometimes by now.

Hope you're having a really nice day.

Dr. T - Thank you. Very nice picture of some beautiful flowers. You done good. :)

I'm quite sure THEY are causing all the problems. They're making it next to impossible for some of us to use this site.

Well, you really didn't like that pizza very well anyway. The grazing and the iced tea was better. :)

Good ones in the spoilage series today. I've seen wiggly flour before. :)

Good Morning XP,
I took the photo earlier this week of KHF's clematis, with my ol* 1.3 megapixel camera.

I don't know if it helps or not to know that you aren't alone. So far 4 others of the few folks I visit have had trouble. I can tell you what's causing it, THEY are. Every time they play with it and make a change there is potential for a problem. They "play" a lot.

I was suppose to have left over pizza last night, but all the grazing at Costco substituted for supper. I drank my supper last night, iced tea.

Hope you made it in to read this.

Good morning, XP,

Looks like the GB site shut down yesterday morning (again!) right after I made my morning post (about 7:30 AM), and it didn't come back up again until about 11. Sheesh! Therefore I decided it was going to be a no-round Wednesday for me.

Hubby had an appointment with the vascular surgeon yesterday morning and it went real well, time-wise and information-wise! Appointment was for 11 AM, and we got in about 10:50 and saw the doctor about 11:05. He had a CAT Scan done last week and it was good; get another one next year. If that one's also good, then they'll start doing ultrasounds instead. :)

The pollen count's looking really good around here, too; it went from 2500 yesterday to about 700 today. I believe the pine pollen is all finished b/c I haven't been seeing it all over everything. Yay! Open up the doors and windows! That is, IF it warms up enough later. It's about 40° right now, going up to about 60°. It just might be a little cool for open doors, but we'll see later.

I'm going to the grocery store this morning. Well, actually, I need to go to Mom's first and then to the store. No senior discount, but, oh, well! :)

Have a great day!

Hiya Don and Dr. T. Thanks for dropping by and thanks to anybody else that tried and couldn't since GB was down again.

Don - Thank you. Your cool this morning is almost our high for the day so far. I'm getting tired of this cold weather. I should be able to open some windows this time of year. Instead, the furnace is running. Grrrr!

Hope you're having a really nice day.

Dr. T - Thank you. Beautiful picture again today, although I don't like tulips, the colors are nice.

I was done and off the computer well before the crash. Sure wish they would figure out what is causing it and fix it.

You and your blanket does sound like you're home. :) We shop that way too. Use a list and when it's done, so are we.

That's a shame about the pizza. We don't have Papa Murphy's very often since the closest one is 30 miles from here, but we've never had one we didn't really like.

We are above freezing again. :)

Funny guide again today. That last one cracked me up. :)

Good Morning XP,
Photo taken by Julie Sccchetti at Shore Acres and posted on the county web site.

9:15 and I finally made it to your home. Did you finish rounds before the site crashed? I don't know the time, but it was down at 5:30 when I first tried and not back till almost 8:00.

Pond was not very pretty with fewer ducks/geese. Water looked yucky. KHF says that's because of all the pollen.

Warmer here yesterday, but cool in the house. Had a blanket over me in the evening when I was reading. Sounds like home.
I do love the sun each day. Will probably be hot on the blacktop parking lots this afternoon. Grocery ads came out today, and as I expected, not much to buy.
We are both the same kind of shoppers, in and out with our list, so that works well.

I was disappointed in the pizza. I remember a couple years ago when she got one it was soo good. KHF adds spinach and more cheese to it. I suspect it will be a supper today or Thurs.
Today for dinner is salmon before we go shopping.

Go...okay...I'd better get done on here. Need to walk.

I hope you are above freezing by now.

cold, windy tweet

Hiya Claudie and Dr. T. Thanks for dropping by.

Claudie - Thank you. I didn't see the eclipse either. It was snowing here. I'll take your rain any day. :)

At least the rain lowered the pollen a little bit for you. My yard is getting green again too. Looks funny sticking out of the snow.

Sorry to hear that you got wet while you were out. At least you got your mom back in time for her class. That's good that she likes it. It is definitely good for her.

Hope you have dried off and are enjoying the rest of the day.

Dr. T - Thank you. Nice picture and cute caption.

Cold is cold no matter where you are. You may not have snow and your temp is warm to me, but to you it's cold. :)

Actually I don't ever remember you asking me about Tapley and no I've never read any of his books. You mentioned that you were reading that book but I'd never heard of him. I'll jot him down and look him up. :)

I'm sure you do miss the warmth of that wood stove in the mornings. Better to stay in bed where it's warm.

Glad you made the walk around the pond. That sure is a pretty place. You should introduce yourself to your wooly neighbors. :)

When in doubt it's always gremlins. :)

Never had a veggie pizza but I've never had a bad pizza from Papa Murphy's either.

That spoilage guide makes you want to swear off dairy products. :)

Have A Great Evening Both Of You!

P.S. Lighting sounds like you might be playing in the rain again today. Take care.

Good Morning XP,
Photo by Ken Gagne posted on the County web site.
Caption, too "dear" to pass up.

I'm freezing, and we're taking the dogs for a walk in about 45 min. I know, no snow, but mornings have been like home. brrr!

Book I finished is William Tapley's "Out Cold." I know I asked you if you read Tapley but I missed the answer in my running around. Do you?

I am not wanting to get up at even 5:00. I think I miss the warm of the wood stove.

We did make it around the pond, but not too many ducks/geese. There were about 10 babies, though.
There are 2 baby sheep and 4 adults living next door here.

I believe we are having pizza today. We playing around yesterday for the umpteenth time trying to figure out what we're having for the rest of the week. Have it, subject to change.

That's what I'm guessing about the satellite thing, but then why did it work here once, and it wasn't even plugged in nor by the window? You need not answer that. I will, gremlins.

I hope your snow is melting.

Food Spoilage Guide continued.

DAIRY PRODUCTS
Milk is spoiled when it starts to look like yogurt. Yogurt
is spoiled when it starts to look like cottage cheese.
Cottage cheese is spoiled when it starts to look like
regular cheese. Regular cheese is nothing but spoiled milk
anyway and can't get any more spoiled than it is already.
Cheddar cheese is spoiled when you think it is blue cheese
but you realize you've never purchased that kind.

Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Good morning, XP,

I didn't get to see the lunar eclipse last night/this morning. :( It started raining here about 1:30 PM and has continued off and on, even now. At least with all this rain, my grass looks greener and the pollen count is lower, though, not as low as I would have expected....from about 3500 yesterday to about 1100 today. Better, though.

I'm taking Mom to WM this morning, and that'll be it for me. The light rain is supposed to come to an end in a coupla hours, but then the wind is supposed to pick up....a lot! Hope that'll help blow all the clouds away. :)

Have a great day!

Hiya Claudie, iceeman99, Don, and Dr. T. Thanks for dropping by.

Claudie - Thank you. You took your happy feet across the street and got all the papers taken care of. :) Glad the notary was there for you.

With any luck, the rain has started by now and is washing some of the pollen away for you.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Don - Thank you. I hope you didn't get any weather like we did. T-storms and wind last night and a big drop in temps today. It's in the 30's here now and we might see some snow tonight. Some spring.

Hope you're having a really nice day.

Dr. T - Thank you. Nice picture today.

Hopefully with your schedule change you're getting more sleep too. That won't hurt you a bit.

I didn't know it was cold there now. I remember the pond from the pics you posted before.

Could just be that thing isn't getting the satellite signal it needs where you are now. I know it worked before since I got a parking lot post. :)

Yes, we did watch the movie last evening. Some really nice pictures. We really liked it.

Thanks for passing the book info to KHF.

I saw your question about our pizza in the other thread. It was one that is really bad for you but it sure is good. 3 cheeses, pepperoni, bacon, beef, ham, and sausage. Only do that one a couple times a year.

Food doesn't usually hang around here long enough to spoil but those are some tests. :)

Have A Great Evening Everyone!

P.S. Lighting I imagine you're inside someplace watching it rain. Take care.

Good Morning XP,
Finally I am here. Getting up at 5 instead of 3:30 does change my schedule around. KHF is off to the gym for most of the morning so that means post and walk and read, but I doubt I will get to the reading.

Too cold here to go out and walk in the mornings. I think we are going out to the pond this evening to walk around it.

Yes, KHF's system is slower than the Verizon thingee that the son sent me. He simply said the thing isn't charged. Well, I am using it plugged in or trying to and it won't work. I know I'm doing it right or it wouldn't have worked in my test parking lot.

I slept well again last night. Did you watch the movie in the evening?

Tentatively we are getting a Papa Murphy's pizza on Thursday.
I think on Tuesday we go out for KHF's birthday which is in May.
Reminds me, strawberries are ripe here in the field. Must go buy a box.
I read your post in TL to KHF.

Good morning, XP,

This morning I'm going to the nail salon to get a pedicure. After that, I'll stop off at Mom's (it IS only just across the street!) and have her sign some papers (and get them notarized there, too...that is, IF the notary is there!); finally I need to stop at the bank on the way home, and that'll be it! :) After that, I'll just go on home and wait for the rain to start so it can wash away lots of the pollen! BTW, the count this morning is about 3500, only up by a coupla hundred.

Hopefully this heavy pollen season will last just the rest of this week. <crosses fingers>

Have a great day!

Hiya Lighting, Claudie and Dr. T. Thanks for dropping by.

Lighting - Thank you. Nice temps for you this morning. Your weather is really spring now.

That's great that you're spending time with your father. I imagine it's good for him too to have you there to help out and keep him company.

Enjoy your baseball games. Take care.

Claudie - Thank you. Doesn't sound like the weather could have been any more perfect for you guys yesterday. Sounds like you all enjoyed yourselves too. I'll bet your mom really liked having everyone there.

I hope you get weather like that for your family get together too. That would be great.

Too bad about that nasty pollen outside. You could be spending some time swinging on the porch today.

Enjoy the rest of your day even if it is inside.

Dr. T - Thank you. I did read in TL and I'm still confused I guess. I'm assuming that KHF's is slower than the gadget when it works.

That's great that you were able to sleep that long. I'm sure you needed it. I hope you guys enjoy the play this afternoon. Some laughs would be good. You could use those too. :)

So far, so good today. We'll be leaving soon for the rest of the shopping.

Since the movie was nowhere to be seen this morning, I had to get off and get going. I'm going to send it to C. and we'll watch it on her computer this evening.

Have A Great Afternoon & Evening Everyone!

Good Morning XP,
You can read in TL about the wireless situation.
I slept better, over 7 hours last night, thank goodness.
We are going to a play this afternoon. She says a comedy so I hope some laughs.

I hope today is going well for you and you enjoy your pizza.
Speaking of food it's 6:45 and no breakfast yet so I'd best eat before I complete deliveries.

Your Sunday movie is entitled, "Spring Is In The Air." by Village Vine.

The musical selection is "Splendoarea," performed by Viktor Vogel.

There is no text. Sit back, watch, listen to the spring sounds and enjoy.

Have a Splendid Sunday!

Good morning, XP,

Fantastic day at the ALF for their Spring/Easter event! Bee-you-tee-ful weather...sunshiny, about 75° and a blue-blue sky!

There were 9 of us who went to be with Mom....me, hubby, and Daughter; my brother, his wife, and their grandson; my sister and her 2 grandsons. We enjoyed the lunch that was provided and had a fun time watching all the kids picking up those Easter eggs. Fun time!

Now I hope we have the same exact weather in 3 weeks when we have our Spring get-together at my house. <crosses fingers>

So today is to be a stay-at-home day for me. I didn't get a whole lot done yesterday (though some stuff) since we went up to Mom's. Hope to get things done today since I won't have another day at home until maybe Thursday.

Have a great day!

Hiya Claudie, LD, Don, and Dr. T. Thanks for dropping by.

Claudie - Thank you. Any rain you get must help wash away at least some of the pollen. Maybe it will rain after you get back from WM on Tuesday. :)

Wow. That will be quite a crowd of your family visiting the ALF and your mom today. I'll bet she will be really happy to see all of you. I imagine the kids will really enjoy it too.

Hope you all have a fantastic time all together on a beautiful day. :)

LD - Thank you. I see you're on a stripe hunt again. Think you'll make it this time?

I'll be watching you as you advance toward your goal. :)

Enjoy your weekend.

Don - Thank you. If you're having a day like the one we have so far, it should be making you happy. Warm and sunny here and probably even warmer where you are.

Hope you're having a really nice day.

Dr. T - Thank you. Appreciate your wave. Don't overdo it though. I'm sure your flippers are tired from gripping the steering wheel. :)

Have A Great Afternoon & Evening Everyone!

P.S. Lighting hope your day is going well. Take care.

Good morning, XP,

Yeah, it was a pretty good doctor's visit for me yesterday. :)

As for rain....it's predicted for Monday/Tuesday. Hope it's not too bad by the time I go Tuesday to take Mom to WM.

It'll be a busy part-of-the-day today...the ALF is having their Spring/Easter event from 11-2 today; it includes lunch and an Easter egg hunt, among other things. Daughter will be coming over to our house about 10:45 and she, hubby and I will be going together; we'll meet my brother, his wife, their grandson, my sister, and her 2 grandsons there. It'll be a nice crowd for Mom. :) We'll stay awhile and then head on back home for the rest of the day. Thank goodness it's going to be a gorgeous day...sunshiny and about 75°. :) I just checked, and while the pollen count is STILL high (of course), it's only about half of what it was yesterday. :)

Have a great day!

Hiya LD, Dr. T, and Claudie. Thanks for dropping by.

LD - Thank you. Hope you had a good night and are having a good day. If you have weather like we do today, you probably are enjoying it.

Dr. T - Thank you. My day isn't going anywhere. I'm still right here where I always am. :)

Awaiting either progress reports or arrival news. Be safe.

Claudie - Thank you. Yuck! That pollen report really stinks. Hope you get rain during that time to help wash some of it away.

Listen to your mom, she's right. :) You came through with flying colors at the doctor's today. A few minor adjustments and you're right as rain. :) Congratulations! :)

Now you can enjoy the rest of your day at home. Just too bad you can't go outside. Do the best you can.

Have A Great Evening Everyone!

P.S. Lighting hope your day is going well for you. Take care.

Good morning, XP,

About the pollen (OMG! It's about 4000 today!)...the weather guy (last night) said there's about 10 more days of this and then the numbers will just drop off quickly. Wow! Another week-and-a-half of this! :(

It's not a stay-at home day for me today (like it usually is); I have a doctor's appointment this morning to get the results from my blood work (done on Monday). Not looking forward to the results, though, since I am concerned about my glucose level. My mom says I'm just a big worrywart, but I am hoping for the best.

Have a great day!
