Hoping today is a better day. The sun is shining and rain on the way for the latter part of the week, so we are going to attempt to get to the farmers market soon for some asparagus and to just get out of the house.
Maybe some diversion will be good for him/us.

Y not send a good morning to my good friend Wendy, & I also have had problems with medication refills and insurance. They are more than happy to let you pay for it out of your pocket. It is really frustrating but what a crappy job to have. Hopefully, this will work itself out and Mike can get back on track. I wish we had gotten more rainfall to fill our lakes but that just does not seem to be in the cards. I also think things are going to dry up for Alan also. HOWDY!!
Been dealing with insurance co beauracracy... Mike ran out of pain meds while taking as prescribed and ins wont refill till tomorrow. Grrrrrrrr. Not happy around here... finally after 2 hrs with pharmany and ins co, it was OK for me to get it if I paid for it all vs submitting thru insurance.
Assinine for ins to dictate what the pt needs!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Of course with no pain meds.. not wanting to do the exercises.. all leads to issues. Thinking its time to move out of the God forsaken country and to a place that cares for the pt.. if anyone knows where that is, please fill me in!!

Y...not say hello to my good friend John. We got a little more rain overnight. My yard is very wet but lake Lavon is still low. Alan said that for a place that is supposed to be very dry it seems like it is raining a lot there in San Angelo. Hope you had an uneventful drive to work this morning and are having a good day.

Y not say good morning to all my friends. We are damp, humid and warm after the overnight rain with 73 this morning to start Tuesday. The storms continue through tomorrow, but hopefully we will dry by Thursday. Have a good day and stay dry my friends.

Given what they had to do to repair the damage it seems like the temperature spikes are happening. I am sure Mike will be happy to see the girls after he has had another week or so to get past the really hard part of this. I think his appetite will come back when he can get past the pain pills and drugs. Have a good day my friend and take care of yourself.

Good evening and happy fathers day!!
We laid low today and we will see the girls for a picnic in a couple weeks when Mike is out of the immobilizer ( hoping that is the 26th!).
Been nice, warm and dry today at 85F. Humidity low. We got out and walking .1 mile each way to the corner store to get a paper this AM. He did well.. may try a bit further each day.
I wish he had an appetite.. has eaten very little x 2 days. So, no cooking around here. ;)
Temp seems to go up every day about this time but I guess Im not going to be too concerned as it comes down and it is normal to be a bit higher in the PM. As long as it is down again, all is well. They had to cut open his entire upper arm muscle so Im sure this is the bodys way of responding.

I sure hope you are finding time to rest and relax when you can in between all the work. I remember how hard it was to get into the habit of periodic movement of the repaired area, but when the pain fades soon it sure helps.
