When I was in the GasBuddy Corner Cafe, I saw a post saying that they did not like coffee houses and suggested a bar. Well, you are here now cause I just opened one. There is Free lunch on the sidebar, we have Karoki on Thursday Nites so enjoy yourself. It's amature comedian nite here every day. If you want to entertain just grab the microphone and have at it. Or there are plenty of private booths to keep your conversation and identity private, enjoy....

March 31 is … Bunsen Burner Day and National Clams On The Half Shell Day
.
.
A husband went to the sheriff’s department to report that his wife was missing.
Husband: My wife is missing. She went shopping yesterday and has not come home.
Sergeant: What is her height?
Husband: Gee, I’m not sure. A little over five-feet tall.
Sergeant: Weight?
Husband: Don’t know. Not slim, not really fat.
Sergeant: Color of eyes?
Husband: Never noticed.
Sergeant: Color of hair?
Husband: Changes a couple times a year. Maybe dark brown.
Sergeant: What was she wearing?
Husband: Could have been a skirt or shorts. I don’t remember exactly.
Sergeant: What kind of car did she go in?
Husband: She went in my truck.
Sergeant: What kind of truck was it?
Husband: Brand new 2015 Ford F150 King Ranch 4X4 with eco-boost 5.0L V8 engine special ordered with manual transmission.
It has a custom matching white cover for the bed.
Custom leather seats and “Bubba” floor mats.
Trailering package with gold hitch.
DVD with navigation, 21-channel CB radio, six cup holders, and four power outlets.
Added special alloy wheels and off-road Michelins.
Wife put a small scratch on the drivers door.
At this point the husband started choking up.
Sergeant: Don’t worry buddy. We’ll find your truck.

BG, You've had enough. lol

What's even more funny is that all this talk about grain and hopps has generated an ad for a beverage from that company with the clydesdales.

Hey, barkeep, pour geezer a couple of beers. He's lookin' pretty thirsty! I believe Spring has sprung, 'cause the birds are singin', the eagles are raisin' their young, the river is thawed out, trees are beginnin' to show buds and I'm able to get out and clean up the winter debris from my yard. With the warmth of this bar, good people to drink with, bright sunshine, spring break for the grandkids and great grandkids, life couldn't get much better! A TOAST TO L I F E!!!

Well, enjoy the golf and weather, geezer! Trucky, I'd bet ya can get Pecan Waffles down the street at the Gasbuddy Corner Cafe. The cook, Slingblade, can whip up anything and he'll make it to go, also. Or ya can just wait till they put out the free lunch on the sidebar here. Either way, I'm guessin' ya won't starve. So, let's get started on the day's drinkin'!

I'll organize it next year, Hammy. Of note locally, March 23 is the latest day in the spring that the temperature has been below zero since they started keeping records. It's a small consolation because it's about eight degrees this morning.

Yes Truck, that was my picture. Haven't you ever stumbled out the door with a hangover and wearing a tutu before?

dg, the produce at my local Wally World is decent. Perhaps it's an individual store thing.

Just How Big is Walmart?
.
.
01. At Wal-Mart, Americans spend $36,000,000 every hour of every day.
.
02. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!
.
03. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.
.
04. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target + Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.
.
05. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people and is the largest private employer, and most can't speak English.
.
06. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.
.
07. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger & Safeway combined, keep in mind they did this in only 15 years.
.
08. During this same period, 31 Supermarket chains sought bankruptcy.
.
09. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.
.
10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had 5 years ago.
.
11. This year, 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur At a Wal-Mart store. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 billion.)
.
12. 90% of all Americans live within 15 miles of a Wal-Mart.
.
13. The value of product for Wal-Mart passing through the port of San Diego each year is a larger sum than 93% of ALL countries Gross National Product (GNP) and that is only ONE port one way. That’s how Wal-Mart gets it's stuff.
.
14. Of the 1.6 million employees, only 1.2% make a living above the poverty level.
.
15. Wal-Mart's head office is located and centralized in Bentonville. Due to this fact, there are more millionaires per square mile there than any place on earth.
.
16. The official U.S. Government position is that Wal-Mart's prices are no lower than anyone else's when compared to a typical families weekly purchases. That's the view of the statisticians at the Bureau Of Labor Statistics (BLS) responsible for calculating the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
.
17. 92% of everything Wal-Mart sells comes from China.
Another 4% comes from Chinese owned companies in the U.S. Or in 3rd world countries.
.
18. Wal-Mart and MOST large companies, take out life insurance on it’s employees, without their knowing. If an employee dies, ALL the insurance moneys go to the companies. Example - An employee making $18,000 per year, dies, and the company might make as much as $1 million. Most often these moneys, coming from what is commonly referred to as "Dead Peasant Life Insurance Policies", is paid out to executives as bonuses.
(a common practice, unknown by the average consumer).
.
19. Wal-Mart now averages a "profit" (not sales) of $36 billion per year.
.
20. If we closed all the Wal-Mart stores would China go bankrupt?
