After having so many people admire my pictures on my profile someone suggested a "Pets" topic. Gas Buddy suggested I start it here. Here goes!

Hello to all you 2 and 4 legged friends! I hope you all had a great day, put up the landscaping lumbar on the east side of mom's house and have been filling it up with top-soil and manure and peat! The hard part was drilling a hole on each end and putting it in with a rye bar then I drilled the top piece of lumber halfway and put that over the rye bar hanging out at the top. It looks more complete and holds the lumber in place, then mixing all the dirt up with a lot of peat and manure. Now I can start putting in new bulbs and hosta's and flowering plants and wait for next spring. A couple more days and it will be finished, little Haley dug her share of holes today is soundly sleeping poor baby worked hard today snicker snicker! Wow for about 5 minutes she was really kicking up the dirt, got a little pooped so she dug herself a hole and put her hind end in it and leaned back like she was on a lawn chair and rested too funny! Hi 10k yep she still is trying but her bark comes out like murf like her dog slips it is funny haha! Hope this finds your DJ is doing well we are so lucky too be able too share our lives with such wonderful little buddies! God Bless you all catch ya later!

My BFF's BF took Rocky out for a walk to the dog park yesterday. They came upon a raccoon in a live trap. Rocky got close, then he backed up and started barking! I've got a video of it, but I'm not sure I want to put it out on the Internet.

A very big thank you to all who were well wishers for my Mom. It was so good to hear from the doctor as well as from you 10k. Our prayers are with you for sure and a woof to DJ from Haley or it still sounds like a murf to me but she is really trying. She let the red squirrel have it in the back yard this morning and it almost sounded like an arf was in there to me! The morning has started out here kind of grey and with light rain but the sun just peeked out. Maybe it will be a nice day like they said, no matter what its still a good day. My best to you all 2's and 4's!

gotta be short tonight-running late and very sleepy ;(

magpie: great news on your mom's eye-i know about those lines, and any time you gain 2 lines, that's pretty good..i would say it was definitely a win-win for her..10 year old Deere's ain't that bad, but a 10 year old belt has definitely done it's job, and needs replacing..concerning my eyes, the wavy lines in the affected eye do not seem as pronounced now as they were, but the doc said we still had a long ways to go..

penske: it's always bad news when a vaca is coming to a close ;(
were you still in NC ??..Charlotte has had some nice weather, and we have too, for the most part..hope y'all have a nice trip back home..i'm sure you already know this, but if you're in NC, don't buy any more gas than necessary-wait til you get into Virginia, cause their gas is much cheaper than ours..lol on the ice cubes in Q's and Chex' water..

have a great Saturday 2s & 4s..

Hello to all my and legged friends, Well this morning we went to mom's eye specialist and spent 3 hours testing diagnosing, but it was worth it its been 2years since mom had her cornea transplant and finally we have good news. She has gained two lines in her sight back the cornea is holding and it (the dr. said) looks wonderful. It was a reason to dance even if it was just in your head! So it was a win win as far as we are concerned! May you all be blessed in some way or another we are truly lucky! Any ways good to hear penske so glad to hear that you hare having a great trip, so many things to see and the food and people are wonderful! We have not heard about the lawn mower yet but after the news we have had who cares. Its a belt that we know for sure and we have had this J-deere for 10 years with no problems so we can't complain or could we nah! 10k be patient with your eye problem and please have faith it took mom this long and today it paid off! We will keep you in our prayers! Realtorick we are keeping jennie in our prayers too I do so hope that the medicine she is on will kick in it might take a while for her to adjust! Stay healthy my 2 and 4 legged buddies keep your chin up and know that you have a friend!

Hello my 2 and 4 legged friends! Our vaca is coming to an end. We had a very nice, peaceful time. Great weather and warm temps! We'll drive through most of Virginia tomorrow, and get home Sunday early afternoon.

Q and Chex get ice cubes in their water too. They are unphased by them. I'm sure to them, it's just an inconvenience. Some big thing taking up space in their water.

howdy magpie:

good luck to your mom ; ) i bet Haley doesn't mind that extra hunting territory..anytime anything breaks on a mower, it's not fun, or cheap..maybe i'm lucky that DJ just barks at her ice cubes-lol..i bet it's a sight to see when Haley and the ice square off against each other..

i'm a little disappointed with my eye report, but if it had been really bad, that sweet young thang surgeon wouldn't have given me a 4 month break, and i don't think she woulda told me i could have that cataract removed either..

have a great Friday 2s & 4s..

Well friday is the day that mom see's her eye specialist so we will see. The bad news is little Haley has to do her great big hunting in more that her usual 2 inchs of grass the belt broke on the tractor from the crank shaft and is in for repairs. 10k I like the ice-cube trick we do the same thing to cool the water for Haley. Only problem we have is that she dances in the water bowl, she runs up and hits the ice cube with her paw and pretty soon she is slapping with both paws snicker it looks like she is doing her happy dance. They are so comical aren't they? Sorry to hear about the eye report have faith it will get better. Penske it sounds like your having a great time keep it up! Thank you realtorick for your kind words we do appreciate them. Well I have to run but our prayers are with you all have a great thurs!:)

howdy all..

tonight i had some fun at DJ's expense-hehe..i put a few ice cubes in her water bowl so her water would be cooler..she looked at it, eased up on it, barked at it, then tried to grab an ice cube..when that failed, and it splashed, she backed up and barked at it again..later when she eased up on her bowl, the ice had melted, and she just looked and looked-too funny..

no rain today-wow..with all the rain we've have lately, the fire ants are getting a nice foothold at the storage place-time to make a move on 'em..

have a great Thursday 2s and 4s..

howdy rick, penske..

rick: my eyeballs were absolutely focused-mebbe she is the prob-hehehe..good luck with your good lookin' eyeball doc also..it's kinda strange that she said my report wasn't as good as she would like, but 2 months ago both eyes had a reading of 21, and this time the left eye was 21, but the right eye was 20..and strange that she scheduled my next appointment for four months-January, mind you, and told me i could have that cataract removed now-hmmmm..i know exactly the road you are on with Jennie..i went down that same road with Duke, but he eventually got used to the change..i'm sure in time Jennie will show her affection again ; )
it's good that she ate today, and kept it down..i dunno who is in charge of these hurricane names, but i liked it better in the old days when they were all female names, and all names we could spell..we are gonna get some nice breakers from that Hurricane, but that's all..the surferdudes on the southern OBX should love it..

penske: rain eh ??..today there was 0% chance of rain, so what happens ?? KA-BOOM !!!-a mean line of t-boomers moved through just south of us..we got a little bit of rain, but not much, but there was a nice sound and light show..today was s'posed to be our warmest day of the week-83°..we will be in the 70s in a day or so..don't y'all love those rescue ranches ; ) so the mods musta told you that you could get your stripes back one more time ??..meow ; ) oh yeah, didja have fun in NC ??..

have a great Wednesday 2s & 4s..

Ok, it rained. Actually there was more lightening than anything. But the weather has been really nice. Today it was hot, at 84 degrees. The rest of the week, mid 70's, and no more rain. Today we went to an animal rescue that is owned and operated by Ryan Newman ( Nascar driver for Richard Childress Racing ) and his wife Krissie, and a lot of volunteers. The Rescue Ranch. I had goats eating out of my hand, literally! I fed the fainting goats. We gave them a lot of supplies, and they gave us a tour. We really enjoyed it, we'll return on future trips.

Got my stripes back, for the final time. Woof woof every buddy, pets, and friends! Missing my kitty babies. We'll probably go to Petco tomorrow to see the kitties!

HI Every buddy! Hope you're all having a good week! Have a good time Penske! nice to get away once in awhile.

Sorry the report wasn't as good as you hoped 10k. I'm sure your eyeballs focused just fine when that sweet thang was workin on you! I go see my good lookin eye doc on the 26th! lol

Prayers that your Mom's eye report is a good one magpie! and murf back at ya Haley! Jennie just says "arf"

Thanks for the prayers everyone. Jennie seems up and down. She ate really well and was real active last weekend, then Monday, she vomited 3 times, and just didn't feel good. Today she seems to be doing ok. She's not eating as well, but she did eat some and it has stayed down. She doesn't like me to much anymore, cause I stopped giving her treats. She doesn't understand why! But she knows we love her, and I keep telling her its for her own good!

Man, who comes up with the names of these huricanes 10k?? it's actually spelled Edouard, but I sure don't know how to pronounce it!

Have a great evening pets and pet lovers!!

magpie: my eyeball report was not as good today as it was two months ago, but apparently my sweet young thang eye surgeon is not too concerned, cause she told me i was free for four months..she said it was hard to believe that's only been 4.5 months since she did the surgery-and i agreed..she also said my eye had healed enough to schedule cataract surgery whenever i wanted to do it..if only i had the loot-sighhh..good luck to your mom-hope her news will be great also..penske is lucky-she is on the dry side of NC-we got more rain early this morning..you got time to teach Haley how to use a shovel ??-lol..Hurricane Edouad (sp) is going head out to sea and miss us by a "not even close" margin ; )

have a great Tuesday 2s & 4s..

howdy penske, magpie..

penske: be glad you are on the western side of NC, cause here in the east central part (I-95 area), it's been monsooning..i got rained off my lawn mower yesterday..today it was just mostly cloudy and cool though..enjoy that necessary vacation in the Charlotte area, and spend loot-this state needs the dollars ; ) i agree with you about the stripes-there have been many days that i asked myself why was i doing this-what purpose did it serve ??..only vanity, i guess..

magpie: happy "murf" back to Haley ; ) i never thought of contacting the dog food company that made the special diet Duke was on..dang woman, where were you ??-lol..jk ; )

tomorrow (Monday) i will go back to my sweet young thang eyeball surgeon for my 2 month checkup..i ain't so sure 'bout my eyesight this time, but she did say my vision would change several times-and i think it has..

have a great Monday 2s & 4s..

Hello to all the 2's and four's, Haley says murf she still does not bark its like she tries and then comes out this murfing sound with a butt wiggle. I hope this finds you all well and happy, you think some one would come up with a less expensive food for both of our furry little friends hey penske and realtorick have you kids tried e-mailing the company that makes these special foods and see if you can buy directly from them maybe it can save a few nickels. I know when our min pin was alive she had colitis and we use to order from science diet it did help with the cost and they would even send us coupons that were a great help. My best to all of you have a great night!:)

Poor Jeannie! I hope she starts to feel better soon. Quincy's' prescription diet food costs a lot of money too. He needs the urinary type so he doesn't get stones.

Sorry for our absence. We are on vacation now, in North Carolina on the west side of the state. No rain here at all. Wonderful weather. I had gotten my stripes back, then lost them a week later. I'm fine with not having them, I still have a nice new sports car. It's not worth the stress to make sure in a day that I posted on here. The app doesn't work on my phone, so now I have to post my prices once I get in to work. I often walk in to a chaotic mess in the morning. I guess I forgot to post one day.

The boys are home with their Aunt Lori and Uncle Troy. They are friends of ours, but not actually our relatives. But everyone calls them that, and us too.

I'll try to post more regularly. Recently work has left me exhausted. This vacation was very necessary.

howdy all..mama nature got me this afternoon-GRRR..she waited til i got on the lawn mower, and had cut almost half the weeds and stuff before she unzipped the clouds..

you talk about rain, and more rain, and the most rain, with frying lightning, house-shaking thunder-and hail too, and you had our weather this afternoon and evening..

DJ had fun til then, and musta had fun during, cause she was wild and wild-lol..

have a great Sunday 2s & 4s ; )

Sneakers: poor Rocky got left outside while y'all were gone ??..sounds like he was happy to see his daddy, and happy for a drink of water ; )

Rick: yeah-last night was a crazy night for hit batters..Directv gave me a three month sports package, and i am able to see multiple games now, and it seemed like every game i watched, somebody got nailed..watching the Giants pummel the Dodgers 6-0 in the 7th right now..good luck to Jennie..she may be 15, but catching her kidney disease early should help her..i had to do the complete diet change on both of my last two dogs, and yeah, it was expensive, but i thought they were worth it..i had a job back then, so i could afford it easier than now..a never-ending bowl of water eh ??-i guess the vet wants those kidneys flushed..i think Jennie will recoup from the sinus infection with those antibiotics..so glad she is beginning to feel better ; )

magpie: wow-37° eh ??-if Haley is anything like my dogs were and are, the colder the weather, the wilder she will be ; ) i agree-5 lbs and high winds are not a good combo, even in her winter jacket-lol..i like this: a great hunter in two inches of grass-funny..

have a great Saturday 2s and 4s..and Rocky, Jennie, and Haley..

HI 2's and 4's. Hope everyone is doing well. Thank you for your prayers for Jennie! She has the onset of kidney disease! Doc thinks we caught it early, but still..... she's 15.
We have started a complete different diet for her and doc wants her to have an never ending bowl of water. So I'll be getting up in the night a few times I have a feeling. :) If you think her diet is one that is extreme healthy, think again! we have to give her foods that are high carbs, and low protein! Of course the docs office sells that kind, and it's ONLY $3 bucks a can! lol oh well, worth the sacrifice if it extends her kidneys/life. She also thinks she might have a sinus infection, but she's not as concerned with that as the kidneys. Jennie has started feeling better and acting more like herself. So at least the antibiotics seem to be working the infection side of it.

That's a good story sneakers! Rocky knows who loves him the most!

10k, I heard about the Marlins Stanton getting hit in the face and all his fractures. Whew! Luckily he doesn't need any surgeries.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I'll tell you what Rocky did last night. We (my BFF, my BFF's BF, and I) were going out for a while. Rocky ran down the stairs and into the dark. They didn't want to hunt Rocky down so we drove off. When we got back, I was first to get out because I'm the slowest. Rocky was waiting for me at the top of the stairs, and he came down to meet me. He was very excited to see me, he was yipping and even barked a couple of times. I got the door open and he ran in to get a big drink!

Our prayers are said for all ,but a special one goes out to Spike and Jennie. Ha 10k nothing wrong with thundering hooves when you know they are directed at you with all that lov! That on made me laugh, haley does this race with us every nite the tail is flagged and the race is on. Its a crack up to watch and of course by the time mom and I get down to our rooms she is spinning like a top kisses mom and says good nite and then back down and over to my room a few spins and then its bed time. It is only 58 degrees here and winds are 30 miles an hour, yesterday was so warm and humid that tonight we had to put on one of her fall shirts to keep our little girl warm how spoiled is that. Hi 10k I heard that Montana had that white stuff too, I wont complain about our rain and wind hope they keep it there for as long as they can! Toro playtime it didn't take long for your little one to nuzzle her way into your heart she sounds like a charmer and what a great name for her, our best to you let us know how things are working out! So all my lovely 2;s and $'s our prayers for all and may we all stay well!:)

Thanks for the prayers 10k, and magpie. We're waiting on the results of some blood work. doc says that Jennie's lungs are clear, and her heart sounds good plus her teeth looked good. She has a runny nose, is congested and has been sneezing and snorting a lot. She's been acting really lethargic, and not herself! Its possible she has a growth in her nose somewhere, and she's trying to get it out of there. But I was encouraged that at least she has clear lungs and heart is good. Unfortunately the growth in the nose is how Chrissie's cancer started. So, as soon as we get the blood results. I'll let ya know! Doc gave us some antibiotic, and inflammatory meds. Hoping that clears up things for her and she feeling better.

Great post magpie! We are indeed blessed to have little pets in our lives.

10k we are getting your monsoon today. Could get some sever storms later. Could be worse.... could be white stuff! I hear its in Montana. lol

Take care pets and pet lovers!!

rick: hoping for the best today for Jennie..

magpie: i agree..when i lost Duke last July 1, it was as if he immediately starting letting me know it was time for a new dog, but i couldn't do til i thought the time was right..i wasn't aware that October was "adopt a pet" month, but Duke was walking the floors, and i knew the only thing left to do was to go rescue a dog, so on Oct 3, i rescued DJ, and she rescued me..that pitter patter of little feet is a great sound to the ears..when DJ is wanting to play, that pitter patter sound is like thundering hooves, and it's best not to be in her path either, lol ; )

have a great Wednesday 2s & 4s..prayers for Jennie and Spike..

Hello to you all, Penske I hope that you and yours had a great evening, 10K thank you for your kind words any one who loves their little buddies is are the best people around, realtorick my heart goes out to you and jennie my best to you both please stay in touch we have all been there and we all understand. BluWahoo this is the page for all 2's and 4's good or bad news we are here for you whenever you need bless you r heart you and your family are special people! We lost our beloved min-pin last year and we said no more pets 6 month's later I said this house is just too quiet, I just started looking on line and reading different stories. That's how we found little Haley! 3.5 pounds of pure love and 3 days later we drove up to michigan, now at our age we had to down size in the size of our little loves started out with a doberman, rottweiler, sheltie, min-pins, and a few other small dogs nothing as small as our little Haley. It was meant to be, she has as much love as a big dog, and she was worth the ride. They left her pregnant mother in an abandoned house, no food no water and now she is ours or we are hers. She saved us from missing what we use to have and our self imposed age syndrome. Now we walk every where and feel alive again and not that old! The little pitter patter of little feet has stopped us from just accepting what life is and has pushed us to go out and have fun again! You have to love the life they bring back into a home that is quiet for too long.God Bless you all 2's and 4's!:)

howdy rick, magpie:

rick: prayers for you and Jennie tomorrow morning..i think next to losing a human, the loss of a pet ranks second..good luck to Jennie, and may she make a dramatic recovery..you know we are here if necessary..thank goodness the roofers finished Saturday morning, cause we've had nothing but monsoons since late yesterday..at least i don't have to worry about a leak..

magpie: i agree with you..i hope to be a good enough person to someday get to play with all my dogs again..your father sounds like a wise man ; )

have a great Tuesday 2s and 4s, with special prayers for Jennie and Spike..

HI Gang! Praying for the best BluWahoo. Prayers are sent for you and Spike. I too, like 10k lost a dear friend last year. And sorry to say, but Jennie isn't doing very well these days. We go to the vet tomorrow morning. I'm hoping the best, but expecting the worse. I dread the thoughts of going through what we went through last year with Chrissie! It's so hard!

So stop by often BluWahoo! We like stories about our 2 legged and 4 legged family members! And God Bless You and your family for adopting the helpless strays.

Glad you were able to get your roof fixed 10k! and that the roofers took time to play soccer with DJ! I bet she had a blast!

Toto is a great name, playtime! Has she tried ruling the house yet? :)

Take care all my 2 and 4 legged buddies! Prayers for Spike and BluWahoo! and everyone else!

May you someday be up there with all of the stray's you have taken in when its time. I know how you feel and still I have a hard time once in awhile, had he have not found you and you him your life would not be the same. I'am sure that he has given you much love for saving him, you are truly a good person. It is the owner that makes the difference in a pets life and behavior, he was good all 12 years because you showed him a great love and gentleness. My father always said he wanted to be with all of our pets, before he passed he said he was going to play with his pups and that he would see us later. I wish you all the best and I'm sure that God will send another one who needs to be loved! We all share in your pain and know that if you need to talk we are all here. Sending our prayers to you and your's! All the rest 2's and 4's love to you and your pets, penske thank you for starting this site! God Bless all you pet lover's and saver's!!!:)

bluWahoo:

such a sad message to have to post..i think everyone in this thread has been there, and we will feel your sadness as you send Spike over the Rainbow Bridge..since he was a stray, i'm sure he was blessed to be with a loving family, and obviously returned that love to y'all..i have a black lab who is probably 1/4 pit bull, and when i returned home on Friday, from having my roof replaced, the roofer's bossman said they could have been finished much sooner, but they had to play soccer with DJ, my dog..

i'm thankful for this site also, cause on July 1 last year, i had to let my 14 year old black lab go, and this site was a Godsend for me..

we share in your pain, and we will share in anything you wish to ask of us..thanx for telling us about Spike..you and Spike are in our prayers..

have a great Monday 2s & 4s..and Spike..

I read the messages here regularly, but decided to post today.

This week I will be sad as my sweet dog Spike will be leaving us and going to doggie Heaven. Spike was a stray 12 years ago. He was taken in and definitely had a great life and better life than being on the curbside. There is always talk about Pit Bulls being aggressive. My Spike has been the best behaved dog we have owned and not a mean streak in him. Spike was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on the spine recently. Been taking medication for 2 months, but his condition has worsened. His hind legs don't work exactly correct anymore. Therefore leaving him lying down and not moving very much. All my pets I have owned and just one left after Spike have been strays. Hard to believe but my Tweety bird was a stray too and she will be with us hopefully a long time. God will send me another stray pet one day. You can view my PETS album if you wish. Thanks for having this site to allow people to comment and as for me to relieve some grief at the moment. Hope everyone has had a great Sunday and keep loving and caring for your pets.

DJ says howdy-she had fun Friday, and again Saturday morning, playing with the roofers..i have no money for a new roof, but the old roof, installed in 1996 after Hurricane Fran removed most of the other roof, gave out..to early for my bank account to cover it..it was giving me too many probs, so something had to happen..

cool weather is on the way-woohoo..

have a great Sunday 2s & 4s..

We named the Yorkie Toto. The saddest part was watching her chase the car down the road & running out of breath a couple houses down. There was just no way I could leave her there.

We were fostering a couple lab mix dogs a few weeks back. They each got adopted the week after we got Toto. We could have had Toto adopted that day too. But she is such a good dog, we want her for ourselves. She has been through enough.

Hey Gang! Jennie says arf! Though she has an upset tummy today. she vomited in the middle of the night, and again this morning. Think its chicken and rice for dinner tonight!

Thank you playtime, for taking the Yorkie home with you. What did you name her? Shame on some people for just dumping animals to try and fend for themselves. And then the story about the dog that was stabbed to death!!! WTH??

Hope you had a safe trip to Raleigh today 10k! And hope your Mom's appt. went well. Does DJ ride along or does she get free reign of the house while your away? :)

At least you can get 1 gallon of gas with your $5 Calinda, and have a little change left! :) Nothing wrong with being a cheapskate!

Ahhhhh the life of a well loved pet! LG and L are busy doing nothing, Q and Chex get to go for a ride to the spa for a grooming! Little Haley having fun chasing bugs! DJ gets to play with the neighbor dogs, and sniff out critters! Rocky gets to jump on sneakers lap for a treat! And the Yorkie has new brothers and/or sisters to play with now! Jennie pretty much sleeps the days away with an occasional stretch, and up to get a drink then lay back down! Oh, and the looks she gives, when we make her get up and go outside to potty! :) Oh well, Wouldn't have it any other way!

Take care 2's and 4's! I hope everyone has had a good week, and has a great weekend!

Howdy everybuddy!!

LG and L send their usual meows to all of you. They are currently resting on their chairs and are too busy doing nothing to speak for themselves.

penske: Lucky and Chex, when shaved, look a lot alike. I will try to post some pictures soon; that is not a promise.

10k: I have had the same $5.00 bill in my pocket for 2 weeks now. I have to really need something to go out and buy it these days. I have become a reclusive cheapskate; and I am very proud of it!!!

playtime: Congrats on your new acquisition. Both of my kids were rescued from certain death. People are so cruel....

Later all you 2s and 4s!!!!

How wondeful that you were there GOD BLESS YOU! Ours was left in an empty house and she was born there with her brother. I hope that some day people who do these things are punished for their lack of love! We have had little Haley for about a year now and the joy she has brought to our home goes with out saying. If you don't want or can't keep your pet why not try to find them a good home. I hope that this little one brings you great joy! Have a wonderful day!

A couple of weeks ago we were in the KC area. While outside in a small town having a BBQ we witnessed a Yorkie dog being dumped out of a car. We ended up bringing her home with us. She is such a good dog we decided to keep her. All of our other pets have warmed up to her pretty nicely.

Hi you all pet lovers. 10K the turkey dog treats are just that and not fattening either even the neighbors dog loves them, charlie come over for his tometo fix then a treat and magie the pointer brings her tennis ball and trys to trade it for a treat she's a hoot. Hi penske212 your right it only took one but she still chases them after a few little coughs she decided the moths were more fun can;t touch this! Hope you all have a great thursday having too much fun watching our little girl doing flips trying to catch the fireflies!

Calinda - I think lucky is Q's long lost brother. They find similar spots to hide out in. Quincy likes the linen closet, and the cabinet in the kitchen where the reusable bags are kept too. Not to worry, it's a lower cabinet, floor level. And his wash cut and blow dry is this Thursday. He's starting to look like a pony, I think his hair is a little long.

10k- my boys can get in to so much trouble. You'd supervise their time down in the forbidden land too. It's a mysterious place where usually only mommy and daddy go. Trust me - supervision - is key!! And Chex, he's just too young.

Magpie- stink bugs, if you have them...taste like crap too apparently. They are very entertaining. They tend to buzz when they fly, but they don't call them stink bugs for nothing. Haley would probably not enjoy them either. It only took one for our guys to learn - eeuuyyyeeeuuu yuck!!!

And HELLRAZOR - sorry but that story line sounds just nasty. Our pet adoption was with a cat rescue that deals with Petco. No violence there.

Have a good night all. Wish us well tomorrow with the groomer lady. Q will at least really like his ride in the car. It should be a nice day so we can open the moonroof. He really likes to look up when that's open!

Good morning pets and pet lovers. I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend....

Lucky got his bubble bath and shave on Thursday. He is currently hanging out in the linen closet. Dark, comfy, and quiet. He is such a loner... until Treat Time....

L'il Girl had a bath as well. Her hair is soooo soft. I hardly get a big batch of hair when using the Furminator on her. And she just loves being combed and brushed.

They saw the suitcases, and know that I am once again in planning mode. Why can't I remember to close the door to that room???

Okay, time to tackle Lion Country Safari (ie, the front yard.)

Woof Woof and Meow Meow!!!!

HELLRAZOR: dang dude..i'm a dog lover, and this story just shocks me..i can see the other dog owner's point, but geeezzzz, do you hafta stab a dog to death ??..i am literally shocked over this story..

magpie: glad you feel better..poor li'l Haley-so many bugs, and so little time-snicker..DJ had to find out that mushrooms don't taste good either..ain't it fun, just watching our four legged children when they are running and playing with other dogs..it doesn't bother me if the neighbor's dog wears down DJ, cause then she will sleep all night..she woke me at 5:50 this morning-and it was still dark-sighhhh..i haven't tried making her any treats yet-i presume turkey dogs are like regular hot dogs, only they are made from turkey ??..have a great night..

have a good night 2s and 4s..sympathy goes out to the pit bull who was killed ;(

Hi to all animal lovers, finally feeling better and little Haley has been exploring this big world of ours. So many bugs and so little time, she did find out that mushrooms are not good to eat. She now has to new friends the pointer next door and a german shepard pup. All five pounds goes running and spins out from the bigger dogs and then she runs in another direction the bigger guys love it and then they all lay down in the cool grass and lick each other and pant and then sigh. She sleeps real good after a run with the big dogs. We now make our own treats, the vet in madison at the vet school told us to take turkey dogs slice thin and put in the microwave and dry them out. Trouble is now the neighbors cat and dog are always over for a treat too snicker snicker. I hope this finds you all well and that the babies are all love and healthy.
