I found a very helpful web site that maintains lists of Points of Interest (POIs) that you can load into your GPS. If you have POIs that interest you but are not on your GPS stop on by the POI factory. Some popular files are rest areas along interstate highways, Wal*Mart, Sam's Club, McDonald's, and other restaurants and businesses. The POI files are typically well maintained and updated regularly. I found a very helpful web site that maintains lists of Points of Interest (POIs) that you can load into your GPS. The site is:

Modern GPS systems come preloaded with millions of POIs, but they may not contain ones that interest you. If you have POIs that interest you but are not on your GPS stop on by the POI factory. Some popular files are rest areas along interstate highways, Wal*Mart, Sam's Club, McDonald's, and other restaurants and businesses.

The POI files are typically well maintained and updated regularly. Take a look and let me know what you find.

I used it for traveling to see family for Thanksgiving. It accurately calculates travel time and ETA.
