Pull up a chair, snap your fingers, "double latte" and lets hear whats on your mind. Gripes, comments, compliments, complaints, ideas? Lets get them out in the open and see if we can relate, have some fun, come to conclusions maybe, who knows.

Good Morning,

Visit to Social Security office resulted in them giving me another phone number to call. Wonder why it was not on the original letter. Called the number and was directed to a web site and fixed the problem. Wonder how senior citizens who are not on the internet would deal with such a problem.

More severe weather expected today. Hail, lightning and thunder could be in our area. At least no tornadoes.

With that, Bunny, I need a strong cup of coffee.

"National Eggs Benedict Day" ... a favorite breakfast for my wife and a popular choice when we have visitors.

CGrover
I have not yet been to Shaw's but remember you mentioning how much you enjoyed the burgers there and I intend to give it a try soon.
Another fun place in that area is Dusty's bar.

Surprise me please, Bunny.

Good to hear everyone is doing well.

Another rainy day. Have a visit to the Social Security office scheduled today. Issue with my medicare premiums. It's complicated as is almost anything that has to do with the government.

Have a good day.

Sou --- the appointment went well, I thought it might have something to do with my back, but it turned out that they were worried about the bones behind my ears, they were a little out of position ---- and my family Dr was concerned --- as it turns out the bones were damaged because of several operations (to place tubes in my ears 45 years ago

Good afternoon everybuddy. another gorgeous day here. Haven't felt good today, but mostly not related to the surgery. Getting three types of premigraine symptoms after lunch and breakfast, but never turned in to a migraine. I sat our o nthe deck for over an hour with the dogs. And, mrsCG, Koa, and I went for half a mile walk, and I have been breathing in my inclometer to improve my breathing/lung capacity.

sout, it is. Tomorrow I am going to ride along to the UPS store...

Have a GREAT day everybuddy!

Good Morning,

Handi, how did the specialist visit go?

CG, getting out, even if you have to be driven, is so much better than being stuck in the house.

Everyone , have a good day.

Good afternoon everybuddy. I got taken for a ride today. MrsCG stuck me in the back seat, and we went to the Post Office, (I waited), bike store to pick up a warranty helmet, and the grocery store. I am tired now. But it was nice to be outside in the 71°F day, but a little windy.

MrGG, I am not allowed to drive for at least a month.

I saw some friends were at 5-8 for a fake lucy. Matt's would be third on his list...

Handi, hope the specialists went well today!

MrGG, have you been to Shaw's in NE? That, is the best burger I have ever had!!!

Have a good evening everybuddy!

Good Morning,

CG, good report, hang in there.

Been looking up in the sky a lot lately with all the storms. We are under a flood watch right now as if have had our yearly average of rain in the last thirty days.

This time of year, 30 MPH winds are normal. Laughing at the PGA golfers who are bothered by 20 MPH winds when that is the norm here.

Good Bughers here come from a place called Whataburger.

Everyone have a good day

There are a lot of places with good burgers we'd have to try.

Good morning Sid, sout, Trucky, MrGG, Handi, and everybuddy else coming in today. Well, I am home and doing well. Surgery went well, and they all thought my recovery went quickly and much faster than normal. Open heart aortic valve replacement and aortic anuerism repair surgery on Tueasday and sent home Saturday morning. I was walking further than expected with the cardio rehab people and even doing stairs. Pain levels were very low at the end of my hospital stay. I start aortic rehad on the 20th, and return to the surgeon on May 12, and hopefully I can return to work the next day. No bike riding for at least 3 months. No driving or listing over 10 pounds for at least one month. I am feeling pretty good.

Sid, sounds cool to watch, from a far.

sout, we had big wind day on Saturday, where 30 mph winds were the norm. We love camping.

MA2, good question.

Thank you MrGG and Splinter!!

Haev a GREAT day everybuddy!

Handi - you can get 1,000 points per day by watching the video ads which are located at: Points & Prizes -> Video Points. I've heard the videos can run kind of long, but if you're interested in extra points, you can get some there. Unfortunately, the daily/weekly challenges for extra points seem to be available only via the smart phone app.

Good Morning,

Good to be back after spending a few days camping in the Hill Country of Texas. No internet at the camp ground, even on a cell phone. Would make quick connections in town, but too busy with other couples to get on forum. Just posted gas prices. Yes I was getting extra points and not knowing it.

Came back to more rain. Wedding tonight of nephew and it is an outdoor ceremony.

Hill country strawberries for everyone.

Snow last night. Frost on the car this morning. Go figure

Handi - are you utilizing the extra points available via the smart phone app? If not, that's probably why your rank is falling. You can view 5 advertisements for 200 points each and they just added daily/weekly challenges for even more points.
