Pull up a chair, snap your fingers, "double latte" and lets hear whats on your mind. Gripes, comments, compliments, complaints, ideas? Lets get them out in the open and see if we can relate, have some fun, come to conclusions maybe, who knows.

CG - you never know. Our dog acts more like a cat than a dog at times. Would be funny to put her in a litter box to see what she does!

soutxed - Mrs Splinter went to see McFarland on Tuesday and LOVED it!

Good Morning

GasGuy, I am with you, conflicting thoughts go through my head.

Dropped fro 82 to 41 degrees overnight. Wind blowing hard and making chill factor in 30's. Electric heater going big time.

Everyone stay warm and dry.

Good Morning Folks !

"Multiple Personality Day" ... I certainly have many conflicting thoughts today.
Maybe it's different personalities?

Spiked snow tires and coffee to go plase, Bunny.

Good morning Handi, MA2, and everybuddy else coming in today. -10°F for the morning commute, but no wind so a nice ride. Feels so good riding. And, today should be the last of the way cold days. One local trail is closing tomorrow eve and assuming they will be closed for the Spring thaw. No riding until the trail get dry.

sout, I have seen several people saying that is a good movie.

Sid, is there a light pole there?

MA2, just get in and it will get warm...

Have a GREAT day everybuddy!

Good Morning

Warmed up to the 80s yesterday. Got some yard work done before the next front comes through and sends us back to the 30's.

Went to see McFarland USA last night. Nice to see some positive movie about teaching and coaching.

We have a fair size farmer's market here, but they did shut down for a while this winter. Hopefully they re-open soon.

Everyone have a good day. Spring training started so warmer weather has to be coming soon.

Good morning Handi, and everyone else coming in today. Only 0°F today, not as cold as expected. We ended up with less than 2 inches of snow yesterday, but it did get windy late afternoon.

Splinter, will you be ready for next winter with that new process? Our driveway is 90% clear, and we didn't shovel.

Sid, I frequently hit the Mpls Farmer's Market on Thursday that is on Nicollet Mall. I get a little annoyed with the stands that are selling bananas and pineapples and other things that no way are grown in Mn...

Handi, stay warm!

Have a GREAT day everybuddy.

MA2 - if that's all it takes to control winter, we'll have to train her to go in a litter box!

Sid - Aha. Can't remember the last time I was at the Minneapolis Farmer's Market.

CG - the snow was light and fluffy and easy to shovel! Winds are supposed to be nasty tonight and tomorrow morning.

Good morning jay, sout, Handi, MA2(!!!), Sid, and everyone else coming in today. Weather peoples missed again. They shoulda stuck with what they said a week ago. As of last night, it was sposed to start snowing at 3 am, and 3-5 inches of snow were expected. I was tired last night and didn't get the studded tires on the commuter, so I reset my alarm for later and would drive to the bus. Well, i woke up and NO SNOW! It arrived about 8am. And, maybe 1-2 inches expected. COLD tomorrow tho.

Splinter, I think they mentioned a little flurries in the evening, but that wasn't the blizzard they were talking about for this am...

So many Farmer's Markets to choose from...

MA2, great to see you. Yep, still biking. Bikes are doing well, but I am working thru it. I don't think we talk about the past much, don't wanna scare away the people that were not hear in those days... NP, haven't see him in a long while.

Handi, we get cold tomorrow. Weather people are hyping it that it will be the last below 0F temps for the season.

sout, bummer about the dishwasher. But, new is always nice.

Have a GREAT day everybuddy!!

Warming up today. Yesterday was foggy and cool all day.

MA, good to meet you. Have not heard any stories about you.

Once again, we are waiting for the dishwasher repair tech, but we are looking for a new one. Afraid this one only had six years of life.

Coffee and donuts please.

Good Morning,

The DFW has warmed up today. Hopefully the snow and ice melted. I live south of there but almost all flights into our airport go through DFW.

Wife's company had a big party yesterday for all their retirees in this area. Nice BBQ lunch and then door prizes. Wife won $100.

Everyone have a nice week

Cures are good. Hard to get sometimes, but always hope. Guess that is why I ride and fundraise in the Tour de Cure every year.

sout, nice job on the consecutive days. It doesn't take much to come post everyday, or report a gas price. I even do it on vacation.

MrGG, did you make that pistacchio green salad on that day? I wouldn't welcome 40s currently... I catch many winks on the bus. Usually on the way home. Never missed my stop.

Good morning Handi, Sid, and everybuddy else coming in for Monday specials! I had a good weekend: Fat bike group ride at the trail near me had 13 riders. Dropped off fat bike at the shop because the bottom bracket has been squeeking a lot. Mechanic knew my name... Received a call back yesterday, and needs a new bottom bracket, and it should arrive mid week. Also, discussing a new winter commuter with the mrs, we decided to just use the new commuter and keep it clean. Most of the crappy for bike weather is over for the winter, and there isn't much snow to melt and get the streets yucky. And, got in a 27 mile bike ride yesterday.

Sid, yes, you should have. Are you going to call him now and wish him a belated birthday?

Cures are good. Hard to get sometimes, but always hope. Guess that is why I ride and fundraise in the

Wintry Mix in the DFW area has cancelled flights in and out of this area.

Wished I had know about Public Sleeping Day.
Gay Guy, I know what you mean. Our nephew is getting married in an outdoor wedding tonight in San Antonio where temps have been in the 30's. We cannot make it as they just told us about the wedding and we have another commitment.

Good Morning Folks !

"Public Sleeping Day" ... You can sleep on a park bench. You can doze on a blanket on the beach. Some people may opt to sleep on the job. They do so at their own risk. Have you ever caught twenty winks on a bus or subway traveling to or from work?
I think I'll wait until it's warmer take a nap on the patio.

An hour this afternoon in the hammock please, Bunny.

Good Morning everyone,

Handi, I know that. But we are spoiled here. Some natives including a BIL put on jackets when it is below 80 and won't leave the house when temps are below 60. But then some of the Yankees and Canadians who live here cannot make it through out hot (100+) summer days.

The ban never even made it for a vote. Smart thinking by our city leaders.

Everyone have a good day.

Good morning Handi, and everybuddy else coming in today. I had my 6 month echocardiogram today. Guy giving the tests again told me I look like I keep myself in shape and I am a great subject for this test and he can so easily see what he needs to see. Appt next Monday to hear about what they found, this time.

MA2, Sid did.

MrGG, yes I did. Saw her many days. Most evenings at Hanalei Bay. I told her you and Splinter said Hello, and I forgot to spread that back to ya'll. Sorry. Things are good for her. She is writing poems, and she has a few books in the works. One of her poems was published in the Kauai newspaper. She sent one to the Packers organization, and she received a NOT form letter back, and a bunch of Packer stuffs. She was very excited. She says she just doesn't have time to come here...

Splinter, cool. Did you check out a book?

Have a GREAT day everybuddy.

Visited the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library today. First presidential library I've ever been to and it was pretty cool! The Air Force One he traveled in is there along with the Marine One helicopter. As The Great Communicator, he logged more miles than any other President, ever. Part of the Berlin Wall is there too.
