Hope too help others see what there doing. I KNOW I am about to piss some people off with this post but here goes. I wish more people were as passionate about healthy eating and exercise as they are about one man's perception of beauty! I do believe beauty comes in all sizes and ultimately from within. But don’t you think a better fight would be against, oh I don’t know, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Kraft foods, Monsanto, ALL pharmaceutical corporations, and the countless other HORRIBLE companies that profit from our poor eating habits and consequential bad health? Where is the outrage over Happy Meals that target children? Or commercials that promote taking a pill for every ailment instead of taking some personal responsibility for our own actions by making healthier food choices? Shouldn’t a government that protects companies known to produce harmful and potentially deadly products warrant more outrage from the people than from some jackass who sales clothes? When was Ambercrombie anointed with the power to make our children feel loved and beautiful? Whatever happened to parenting and promoting self-worth in the home? Ultimately it’s his right to pick and choose to whom he markets his clothing just as much as it’s your right to boycott anything he is associated with! I just wish people cared as much about real issues, that aren’t as easily changed due to privileged protection, as they do about some school yard bully’s idea of beauty! Disclaimer: I think A&F is an asinine store and believe their sizes to be grossly inaccurate.

Why Did Jesus Fold the Napkin? This is one I can honestly say I have never seen circulating so; if this touches you, you may want to forward it.
Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection? I never noticed this....
The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes. The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded, and was placed separate from the grave clothes. Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, 'They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I don't know where they have put him!' Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see.. The other disciple outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying to the side. Was that important? Absolutely!
Is it really significant? Yes! In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition. When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was exactly the way the master wanted it.. The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished. Now, if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss it onto the table. The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, 'I'm done'. But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because........... The folded napkin meant, 'I'm coming back!'
He is Coming Back! So; if this touches you, you may want to forward it. And praise the name of Jesus Christ. REV;RAY.

I don't know if this belongs in the "New ripoff" or the "freakin' weird" file. Cooked a turkey for supper. When I peeled the skin off the breast to carve it, hiding under the normal looking skin where you would normally find the wishbone and surrounding meat was the "surprise" package! (heart and liver in the parchment bag). So.......what does a wishboneless bird mean??

I am unbelievably sick of winter. I think we may have had 3 or 4 days it has gotten above freezing. It was 4 below this morning, WTF?? Because there is still 2 feet of snow on many fields some farmers fear there is the risk that there just won't be a long enough growing season for much more than weeds.

HELLO HELLRAZOR. 4/9 Today’s Scripture: James 3:13 (NLT) If you are wise and understand God's ways, live a life of steady goodness so that only good deeds will pour forth. And if you don't brag about the good you do, then you will be truly wise! Today’s Thought: Wisdom in God’s eyes are totally different then the world’s. Being wise in a worldly eye may mean earning six figures per year. Being wise in God’s eyes may mean giving away all you own & serve Him! Which are you? Today’s Prayer: Lord, help me live for You in everything I do today. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen! FAITH IN HIS GRACE" REV;RAY.

4/6 Today’s Scripture: 2 Peter 2:9 (NLT) So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while punishing the wicked right up until the day of judgment. Today’s Thought: God always takes care of His children. Sometimes we doubt this instead of trusting Him. God’s timing is always right. We may not always feel like His timing is right, however, He’s always right on time. Trust Him! Today’s Prayer: Lord, thank You for always meeting my needs. Help me learn to trust You, always. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen! SHALOM AMERICA. "FAITH IN HIS GRACE"

Today’s Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NLT): “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” Today’s Thought: The King of the universe knows who you are. If that doesn’t excite you, what will? A few days ago we talked about trusting in the Lord. We can trust Him because He knows the ultimate plan for our lives! Today’s Prayer: Lord, thank You for not only saving me but having a plan for my life. I ask that You help me walk in Your plan for my life today. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen! Shalom "FAITH IN HIS GRACE"

I was due for an appointment with the gynecologist later in the week.Early one morning, I received a call from the doctor’s office to tell me that I had been rescheduled for that morning at 9:30 am. I had only just packed everyone off to work and school, and it was already around 8:45am. The trip to his office took about 35 minutes, so I didn’t have any time to spare. As most women do, I like to take a little extra effort over hygiene when making such visits, but this time I wasn’t going to be able to make the full effort. So, I rushed upstairs, threw off my pajamas, wet the washcloth that was sitting next to the sink, and gave myself a quick wash in that area to make sure I was at least presentable. I threw the washcloth in the clothes basket, donned some clothes, hopped in the car and raced to my appointment. I was in the waiting room for only a few minutes when I was called in. Knowing the procedure, as I’m sure you do, I hopped up on the table, looked over at the other side of the room and pretended that I was in Paris or some other place a million miles away. I was a little surprised when the doctor said, “My, we have made an extra effort this morning, haven’t we?” I didn’t respond. After the appointment, I heaved a sigh of relief and went home. The rest of the day was normal .. Some shopping, cleaning, cooking. After school when my 6 year old daughter was playing, she called out from the bathroom, “Mommy, where’s my washcloth?” I told her to get another one from the cupboard. She replied, “No, I need the one that was here by the sink, it had all my glitter and sparkles saved inside it.” Never going back to that doctor again……….. never.

Speaking of birthdays I just hit the half-century. I've been told that time seems to pass much faster after 50. My Mom once said she wouldn't really want to live much past 85 as quality of life tends to deteriorate for many people. Suddenly she realized that is now only 9 years away, "I want to be around more than another 9 years"

3/18 Today’s Scripture: Psalms 34:1 (NLT): I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. Today’s Thought: Praising God at all times does not come naturally. Instead, you have to teach yourself how to. He is worthy of all our praises no matter what we are going through today. Let’s stay in a constant state of praise today! Today’s Prayer: Lord, I thank You for saving me. I ask that You help me learn to praise You no matter what I’m going through today. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Today’s Scripture: Colossians 3:12 (NLT): Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Today’s Thought: God chose us to be holy. Since this is opposite of our nature it will not happen overnight, instead it is continual process. This process is very difficult & often feels unattainable, however, with much prayer, we can work towards the goal. Today’s Prayer: Lord, help me to become more like You each day. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen! SHALOM,ISRAEL. YESHUA is LORD of this earth. "FAITH IN HIS GRACE" REV;RAY.

Sometimes I want to scream "What the...." Once upon a time a "loss leader" was a common marketing tool used to draw customers into your store. Now the stores are playing dirty and requiring a hefty minimum purchase to get the sale item. Thanks to this practice most low or fixed income people can't afford to enjoy a turkey for Easter. We shop at your stores all freaking year, give us a break! Does this happen in the USA?

I have been in and out of work (companies close, relocate, cutbacks, etc). for the last three years (office support positions). It has been so painful financially. I cannot keep my head above water. I went to check on a trade school today to begin training as a dental assistant (if accepted the start date would be this April). I need financial aid and also a private loan to pay for this course of study. It would be a year program going 3 nights a week. I was a dental assistant years ago; this is just a retraining kind of thing. I hate to have loans but I see no way out. They have a 98% placement rate. I hope I am not in the 2% category. I did well in this program years ago, but the field was not what it is today. It is a great field in which to work in as it has really improved since I went to school. By this, I mean expanded duties, better equipment (digital x=rays), more money! I hope that I get accepted. I will know next week.

3/11 Today’s Scripture: Acts 4:10,12 (NLT): “Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead. There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”” Today’s Thought: Salvation is such a powerful word. Jesus literally went through hell to provide a way for us not to go to hell. Let’s try to witness to someone so they can come to the saving knowledge of Jesus. Today’s Prayer: Lord, I thank You for sending Your Son to die for me. I ask that You would put people in my path today that need to hear the Good News. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen! Shalom,Irael. Why do we have kids? They are nice to have around when they are young, but after high school they become a royal pain in the behind and think the money tree never ends. The only time I hear from them is when they want something or figure that gramps and granny can be used to their advantage. I', going to move to Montana, shut off the mail, change our names and the hell with 'em.

3/2 Today’s Scripture: Job 23:10-11 (NLT): But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside. Today’s Thought: Tests are good for us. Tests can either be helpful or harmful to our walk with God. Whatever test you are going through today, test and rely fully on God, and grow your faith while in it. You’ll come out better on the other side because of it! Today’s Prayer: Lord, help my learn to trust You even in my trials. I know You are using what the devil meant for evil for my own good. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen! ?3/1 Today’s Scripture: John 16:33 (NLT): I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
Today’s Thought: What an amazing comfort. That we have peace in Jesus no matter what the trial or tribulation. He has overcome the world and nothing can take away that peace if we fully rely on God. Jesus life and death and resurrection conquered all that we would and will face. His words that He spoke we can read everyday and find peace in that. It says that He has overcome the world. What relief to know we don’t have to and that we don’t have to rely on ourselves for that peace that Jesus gives it to us.
Today’s Prayer: Lord, I thank you that we have such an amazing comfort through you and that you have overcome the world so that we don’t have to do it on our own. We pray that we will feel your peace in a new way today and that you will meet us where we are. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen! Shabbat Shalom ISRAEL,YESHUA is LORD. "FAITH IN HIS GRACE" REV;RAY.

?50 Shades of grey
Four guys have been going to the same fishing trip for many years. Two days before the group is to leave, Kevin's wife puts her foot down and tells him he isn't going. Kevin's mates are very upset that he can't go, but what can they do. Two days later the three mates get to the camping site only to find Kevin sitting there with a tent set up, firewood gathered, and dinner cooking on the fire. "Shit ,Kevin how long you been here? How did you talk your missus into letting you go ?" "Well, I've been here since last night. After dinner at home yesterday evening, I was sitting in my chair and my wife came up behind me and put her hands over my eyes and said, 'Guess who ?'" I pulled her hands off, and she was wearing sexy brand new lingerie. She said had been reading 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and she had a devilish look in her eyes!!! She took my hand and led me to our bedroom. The room had candles and rose petals all over. On the bed she had handcuffs, and ropes ! She told me to tie her up and cuff her to the bed, so I did.
And then she said, "Do whatever you want."
So . . . . here I am !

2004VHO;Sorry to hear about your dad's passing.Pray you will have a blessed day.His eye's are watching over you now.
2/25 Today’s Scripture: I Corinthians 6:12-13 (NLT): You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything. You say, “Food was made for the stomach, and the stomach for food.” (This is true, though someday God will do away with both of them.) But you can’t say that our bodies were made for sexual immorality. They were made for the Lord, and the Lord cares about our bodies. Today’s Thought: Our bodies are a living temple of the Holy Spirit. It is time we treat it like one! We must be careful what we allow into our bodies whether it be on t.v., the internet, how we talk, etc.
Today’s Prayer: Lord, help me to glorify You in everything I do. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen! SHALOM ISRAEL. Yeshua is LORD.FAITH IN HIS GRACE. REV;RAY.

2/21 Today’s Scripture: I Corinthians 6:1-2 (NLT): When one of you has a dispute with another believer, how dare you file a lawsuit and ask a secular court to decide the matter instead of taking it to other believers! Don’t you realize that someday we believers will judge the world? And since you are going to judge the world, can’t you decide even these little things among yourselves? Today’s Thought: It is time we as Christians live differently than non-believers. If we have a dispute with a fellow believer, let’s try to deal with it in a godly way.
Today’s Prayer: Lord, help me to deal with disputes the way You want to deal with them. In Jesus’ name I pray, Shalom,ISRAEL YESHUA is LORD. FAITH IN HIS GRACE. REV;RAY.

“Every day in the Jungle a Gazelle wakes up knowing today they must outrun the fastest lion or they will be eaten. And every day a Lion wakes up in the jungle knowing today they must outrun the fastest Gazelle or they will starve”…It does not matter whether or not you are a Gazelle or a Lion, when you get up every day, you better be running!

2/19 Today’s Scripture: I Corinthians 5:9-11 (NLT): When I wrote to you before, I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin. But I wasn’t talking about unbelievers who indulge in sexual sin, or are greedy, or cheat people, or worship idols. You would have to leave this world to avoid people like that. I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people. Today’s Thought: We need to get real with people. If your friends say they are Christians and yet live like hellions there is something wrong with them. Run! Do not look back! This sounds harsh. However, is it really worth jeopardizing your relationship with the Lord and go to hell to be friends with that person? No! Absolutely not! It’s time we get serious with people.
Today’s Prayer: Lord, help me get real and take an inventory of my friends. If I have friends that pull me away from You, I pray that You help me to have the courage. SHALOM ISRAE.YESHUA is LORD. FAITH IN HIS GRACE. REV;RAY.
