In the theatres of course, or is that old fashioned?

No I did not. Going to theaters isn't considered old-fashioned. . . is it?

yes at the discount theater for a dollar per person
only a few months or weeks old, and still get the full movie theater experience.

At the movie theater? No. I avoid them because the crowds tend to be too noisy with cell phones and talking. Plus, too expensive with the trend towards 3-D everything.

I prefer to watch my movies at home: cheaper and quieter.

Saw "The Hobbit" via Redbox 2 days ago.

We saw Argo a couple of nights ago, on the cheap movie night. Interesting how the CIA got to be much more important than the Canadians who took all of the real risks, but we just approached it as a work of fiction - and on that level it works well.

igbo, do you get to vote for any Oscar categories?

Yes, several. I'm a voting member of a motion picture organization. Saw four movies yesterday, including three in the theatre.

Haven't been to a theater movie since "Driving Miss Daisy"...we rent them after they come out on DVD or Blue Ray or buy them as we dislike crowds or some of the clowns one comes in contact with these days so we practice "the art of avoidance".

Wonder if in light of the massacre at the Batman movie in Aurora last week will have any impact on peoples movie going habits...
