Me and my friends visit most evenings before the sun goes down. We like to visit out of doors. I said yesterday, we need porches. To sit on and visit. l can't call my previous friend on many days because she gets dialysis 3 days a week and comes home bushed. l guess my 98 year old friend finally gave up her apt as her phone is dead. l will have to call her daughter to find out where she went after rehab. She finally broke a hip and l visited her in rehab and she was fine. Rarin to go. Smile.

Then we only asked that the Managers attitude change, but they let her go. So we were shocked and now happy and content again. No more harrassment about the dogs and plants but l guess we have to remove all the hanging plants. Our little get togethers are so much happier now and we are back to laughing and snacking and enjoying our lives here. Someone even suggested a welcome party for the new manager when she gets here, so l emailed the district manager and asked if she was having a meet and greet or could we have an hour or so during the new managers getting trained, to have a food party for her. We are planning fancy little sandwiches. l can make cream cheese and cucumber, some peanut butter and even tuna and it won';t cost that much. The men decided on that as they said they never had cream chees e and cucumber and thought the small size would allow for more types to taste. Pretty smart guys huh? l haven't heard back yet.

Much better. l walked with just my cane to mail room, hurt some on the way back but not like it was ..far from it. Smile. Saw my xrays and knees looked clear of arthritis, just calcium deposits that grate like sandpaper when move. Hopefully no more shots will be required. Worked on my shoulder...but that was bursitis. This is calcium depostits. Hopefully.

Not only were they brave over there, but they are bravely facing life here with all their wounds. My heart goes out to them. l am so grateful for the life l have had in peace here at home. l thank you all.

Do you read any fiction? l like mysteries. l enjoy well written biographies as well and have been known to read autobiographies. One l read was Betty White's and a more dull book l have never read. Just a list of places she worked for the most part. Dull.

Even l have heard of Mickey Mantle and might enjoy it if it is more of a tale of his life and not just statistics.

So that is what l would like to do.
