I carry 2 guns. A 25cal in the open. And a 9mm. Concealed as a back up. Let them take the 25. Then it is my turn to use the S/W. 9mm loaded with hollow points. 16 rounds plus one chambered.
Shalom,have a good day.

"I think The Outlaw Josey Wales should approve every gun sale.."

I doubt he would since it would make the life of criminals more dangerous and difficult.

Carry concealed; make the criminals sweat.

"Too many guns on the street"

.....

No, too many girlie-boys raised in a dress sissies with cajones the size of raisins afraid to stand up to the street punks and too whiny politically correct to point out and admit who they are.

thought you all would like to know this....

HOORAY a 53-46 vote!!!

The U.N. Resolution 2117 lists 21 points dealing with firearms control, but perhaps of most interest is point number 11. It: "CALLS FOR MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION and DISARMAMENT of all UN countries".

By a 53-46 vote - The U.S. Senate voted against the U.N. resolution. HOORAY!!!

This is that brief, glorious moment in history when everyone stands around...reloading.

Now, Which 46 Senators Voted to Destroy Us? Well, let their names become known! See below.. If you vote in one of the United States listed with these 46 "legislators"! I suggest that you vote against them!!

In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The Statement of Purpose from the Senate Bill reads: "To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty." The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry, now get this, on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N.:

Baldwin (D-WI)

Baucus (D-MT)

Bennett (D-CO)

Blumenthal (D-CT)

Boxer (D-CA)

Brown (D-OH)

Cantwell (D-WA)

Cardin (D-MD)

Carper (D-DE)

Casey (D-PA)

Coons (D-DE)

Cowan (D-MA)

Durbin (D-IL)

Feinstein (D-CA)

Franken (D-MN)

Gillibrand (D-NY)

Harkin (D-IA)

Hirono (D-HI)

Johnson (D-SD)

Kaine (D-VA)

King (I-ME)

Klobuchar (D-MN)

Landrieu (D-LA)

Leahy (D-VT)

Levin (D-MI)

McCaskill (D-MO)

Menendez (D-NJ)

Merkley (D-OR)

Mikulski (D-MD)

Murphy (D-CT)

Murray (D-WA)

Nelson (D-FL)

Reed (D-RI)

Reid (D-NV)

Rockefeller (D-WV)

Sanders (I-VT)

Schatz (D-HI)

Schumer (D-NY)

Shaheen (D-NH)

Stabenow (D-MI)

Udall (D-CO)

Udall (D-NM)

Warner (D-VA)

Warren (D-MA)

Whitehouse (D-RI)

Wyden (D-OR)

What? No Republicans??

Folks, this needs to go viral. These Senators voted to let the UN take OUR guns. They need to lose their next election.

We have been almost betrayed. 46 Senators Voted to Give your 2nd Amendment Constitutional Rights to the U.N.

Please send this to SOMEONE!

Looks like the real problem in St-Louie is not enough guns in the hands of law abiding people to stop the bad guys.

I think they are going too far now. People will be allowed to apply, and obtain, concealed carry permits off the internet, without owning a gun, or even ever shooting one. It will have a small fee and very small amount of gun handling training.
I was in the Army in the 60's, and we had three-four weeks of personalized supervision on classes and shooting, handling of them.
Now people can get the permit without ever touching a gun
Seems a little too easy to me.

Good thing they can buy guns to protect life and property.

Both black and white are very afraid for their lives. All of the the riots taking place, are being escalated by out of towners . Gangs are taking advantage of the bad situation, and making trouble and looting.
Bad trouble for everyone involved. Sad, very sad!!

A well reasoned article written in 2007 by a blogger who writes "Why the Gun Is Civilization,":

Why the Gun is Civilization by Marko Kloos

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that's it.

In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force.

The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gang banger, and a single guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender.

There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we'd be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a [armed] mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger's potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat--it has no validity when most of a mugger's potential marks are armed.

People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that's the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

Then there's the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways.

Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser.

People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don't constitute lethal force watch too much TV where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level.

The gun is the only weapon that's as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weight lifter. It simply wouldn't work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn't both lethal and easily employable.

When I carry a gun, I don't do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I'm looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced only persuaded.

I don't carry it because I'm afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn't limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation...and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

"I cant even come close to any answer for this problem of students getting weapons, and killing other students and teachers."

I can; complete and total breakdown of values including family values and the value of human life.

When I went to school, almost every pick-up had a full gun rack in it; but the guns were for hunting and most of the vehicles in the school parking lot were trucks. In other words; there were a lot of guns on school grounds. The difference was we all had a respect for each other, the law, our elders and life in general. Now we have games teaching murder, grand larceny, drug use and other dark subjects. Teachers are interested in putting out their spin on the world and only pushing kids on up through the grades (mostly due to the skewed educational system). Divorce is on the rise, homosexuality is the norm, instant gratification with no fear of repercussion is rampant and there are so many laws governing everything that a person probably is breaking some law or regulation just getting up in the morning.

When guns are gone the weak will be preyed upon by the mighty because there will be no equalizing tool available. Killing will continue, the criminal will still use ill gotten firearms and if they can’t get them then it will be sling shots, then swords, then knives, then baseball bats, then big sticks, then rocks... It won't stop until the problem of decayed values has been repaired and people have respect for one another once again.

It happened again last Tues. in Troutdale Qre. A teenager loaded up an arsenal of weapons, and ammo, in a duffel bag, walked into a high school and shot and killed another student, wounded a teacher, then committed suicide.

I cant even come close to any answer for this problem of students getting weapons, and killing other students and teachers.
When I was a kid in high school, the worst thing that ever happened, was for a student to pull a fire alarm, causing the school to run everyone outside, and check for fires.

How do we stop it? Do people think concealed carry is the answer? I really don't think so, as when something happens with a firearm, there is a possibility for a lot of innocent bystanders to get in harms way.
This is almost an impossible problem to have. WHY, does anyone seem to think they need to kill someone? What good does it do? they either end up dead or in prison, and ruin many other peoples lives for good.

Life is very precious, such a waste!!!

An article in the St Louis Post, said there have been 74 different school shootings since Newtown Conn. shooting in Dec 0f 2012. that is an average of one shooting a week. Insanity!!!

I second that, bytebug!

A few years ago, when my daughter was a teenager, she got involved with a boy who thought nothing of smacking her around. He showed up at our house one night and was met at the door by Mr. Diva. When the kid tried to tell us, the parents, that our daughter was going with him and there was nothing we could do about it, he came face to face with Mr. Diva's shotgun. He got the message.

My only regret was that the kid didn't get an a$$ full of buckshot!!

Another shooting going on in a Seattle college .
SEATTLE (AP) -- Police say two people have been shot on the campus of Seattle Pacific University, and there are likely more victims.

The conditions of the victims are unknown.

Police said on their verified Twitter account that officers have a suspect in custody. They say they are searching for a second suspect armed with a handgun.

The university posted online that "the campus is in lockdown due to a shooting in Otto Miller Hall."

Insanity!!!!
Seems like once every month.

Once more, another 22 year old goes crazy and goes on a shooting spree. He had 3legally purchased handguns, and went out and started killing college students. In a video he made previously he stated how terrible of a life he had. What a hairball!!!
Poor little rich kid. He drove around in a BMW, probably got anything and everything, and most likely never worked a day in his life.
Too many guns , too easy to get!

How long before we get another?

A stupid parent left a loaded shotgun laying where kids could get to it and play with it
A4 year old shot his 3year old brother, and luckily only minor wounds. The dad was in another part of the house smoking pot what a jerk. I probably shouldn't say this, but it is too bad the 4 year old shot the wrong person
That shotgun could have blown off the little boys arm, and very easily could have killed his little brother
Parents like that should never see the light of day again

Everyone should arm themselves for upcoming events ,unknown to us but suspect are coming. When civil rights start to boil and FREE stuff comes under fire riot's are likely. One should be able to protect home and hearth. I need a gun, single, female, older on retirement income (stock dependant) but I can't afford to buy one. Younger folks PAY ATTENTION.
