A number of us on GB are working towards getting The Blue Star Service Banner flying above EVERY wing of EVERY State Capitol in the United States to show the troops AND their families, that ALL Americans support them! We are also working to get this flag flown above the Nations Capitol and the White House! This particular flag is different from the Blue Star Banner that hangs in the windows of families who have a family member serving our country in a time of war. It is for Government, Corporate America and individuals to fly in support of the troops. My idea is gaining support from people all across the country! Many people, including myself have contacted our local Representatives and so far, the their responses have been VERY Positive. All feel that this is a GREAT idea and are going to approach their respective Governors about flying this flag above their Capitol Bldgs. Here is an actual email response sent to a fellow GB in Massachusettes from their Representative: I received this email from my state representative this morning: "Thank you for your email. I am so pleased you thought to contact me. I think it is a great idea and I have sent and attached a letter to my friend Peter Flaherty, Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Mitt Romney. I will be sure to share any responses I receive with you right away." Sincerely, Tom Kennedy If you support the troops, and I'm sure you do, contact your local state Representative and ask them to consider flying the "Blue Star Service Banner" at your state capitol. Also, please be sure to share your responses you get from them on this thread. Keep in mind, I too have a daughter who will be leaving for Iraq in the very near future. I am simply asking if you support our troops...YES OR NO?

A number of us on GB are working towards getting The Blue Star Service Banner flying above EVERY wing of EVERY State Capitol in the United States to show the troops AND their families, that ALL Americans support them!

We are also working to get this flag flown above the Nations Capitol and the White House!

This particular flag is different from the Blue Star Banner that hangs in the windows of families who have a family member serving our country in a time of war. It is for Government, Corporate America and individuals to fly in support of the troops.

My idea is gaining support from people all across the country! Many people, including myself have contacted our local Representatives and so far, the their responses have been VERY Positive. All feel that this is a GREAT idea and are going to approach their respective Governors about flying this flag above their Capitol Bldgs.

Here is an actual email response sent to a fellow GB in Massachusettes from their Representative:
