Both our vehicles have a low fuel light that come on when you are low in gasoline in your tank....

Does your vehicle have this low fuel light and have you seen it much through the years with your vehicle.....

My wife's new 2014 Honda Civic LX lets you know that you are running low on fuel BIG TIME with three notices on the dash.....

This is the first time we have been low on fuel on this new 2014 vehicle to see this happen.........

I was impressed to say the least......

This feature has been a blessing in the winter months since I have notice it many times, more than the gas gauge reading....sad to say...

I always worry some that letting the gas go so low that the low fuel light comes on might do damage to the operation of the vehicle........

Almost every fill-up unless I am in an unfamiliar or remote area late night where I'll fill up sooner.

MertieMan says " I never let my car get low enough on gas for this light to come on. "

I sure wish I could say that....maybe in the summer but in the winter I have seen the light a lot.....

Yes; I usually wait until it comes on before I get gas & I know from experience it still has 3 gallons left.

Mahalo5 says " Yes. Only 2 times in 10 yrs. "

Sure wish I could say that.....

I count on the low fuel light so much I think when winter is so cold....

In the summer months not so much......

It happens most when the cold weather of winter is here because I put off getting gas because it so cold in the winter months.....
