No......but i had to do a modification to a '92 Passat as i for some reason was having trouble with the neutral switch (automatic tranny) These were made of plastic. So i rigged a push button start to by pass the switch. But i needed the key to turn the ignition switch on, then button start.

I know someone whose starter doesn't seem to work anymore due to a lockout, so it was hotwired to a push button to turn the starter motor on... No key required other than to unlock the steering wheel.

Does this count?

Don't have it.
Don't like it.
Used it many times on customer cars. More stuff to go wrong.
BMW and Mini have electric slide in key fob recepticles. Assinine frivolity at it's best.

I have an older $100k car, uses a key, works great, love it.

Both of my cars require a key to start.
Its just that neither requires me to remove the key from my pocket.
One doesn't even require the press of a button (botton?) on the dash, just put it in gear and go.

Both our vehicles don't have this feature..............

" I can't say that anymore since my wife just bought a brand new 2014 Honda Civic LX that has this feature on it ".....

I was totally wrong with that statement ..... my wife's new Honda Civic LX does not have this feature..

After picking up my wife's new Honda Civic LX yesterday I found out that this car doesn't have this push button start feature.......

You still have to use a key to start it.................
