I may be very fortunate, but my 2004 Volvo S60R has been a dream to drive and own. Other than the high cost of an oil change, I have had so few extra expenditures with this car.

Passion Red paint is still bright
Volvo S60R, Automatic Transmission
Sand Leather interior has held up well

Purchased in 2006 with 24,xxx miles
Currently has 115,xxx miles

Far better than my previous 1995 Volvo 850 T5-R that came with a massive turbo oil leak, and died after a chronic progressive series of overheating episodes.

1991 Dodge Dynasty (I call it the D-Nasty)-
I love this car, strongly built, only a few problems that I fixed, nothing major. Great first car.
Selling it to get a 2011 Kia Soul Sport :)

My wife's 2010 Malibu - Nice car. She thinks it's a little too big for her.
2005 Chevy Aveo - Basic transportation. Gets me from point A to point B. It's ok.
1983 Toyota 4X4 truck - Sees only Summer duty pulling our boat. Never missed a beat.

2003 Cavalier - Nothing special to look at, but mechanically solid.
2007 Grand Prix - Built very cheap, but runs well.
2011 Silverado 2500HD diesel - Love it. Lots of power, great options.

2012 Ram 1500: really like the size, comfort and utility. Don't like the city MPG very much. But overall, I like it.

My sentiments exactly, CactusBobs. Love is special - it's really only for living things. Hate is corrosive; one needs to ask why one hates something - maybe even use the Toyota method of asking "Why?" five times to get to the root cause of the problem.

Cars are just man-made objects. If they are competent, they usually serve a purpose. I appreciate a few, (including your 760 and my 505s), and am indifferent to the rest.

love is a really strong word to use for a car or any "thing"for that matter
I love my family
I love my Dogs
I love my close friends
because all three love me back
my cars ?!?!
I take care of my cars because if i don't they will not last long and give me the service i need

but i like my 760 Volvo Diesel wagon , it's the best looking car in the parking lot , any parking lot . the shape is square with crisp lines (nothing like the melted jellybean look every other car has) . The size is right , not to big and not to small . fuel mileage is great for a car of it's size and comfort
I can see myself always having one of these , just because there so tasteful and sharp

Love them all, for different reasons...

2002 Firebird, one of the last built and it's just been a great car
1989 Ford F-250, inherited from my Dad, who passed away in 2008
1986 Fiero, been in my family since new, and wanted it since I was 16.
