I think electric cars are a waste of time.
I also think that the gas engine has more
than proved itself. Do you want to plug
your in at night, Not everyone has a garage.
Plus in Ohio we have cold winters, also I
drive many miles per day. Plus who wants
to sit in a recharging station.Replacement
batteries will cost a fortune!!

Short-sighted thinking. In the coming years as we finally get batteries that have more range and faster recharge rates, more and more people will use them at least for short-range transportation. No one should underestimate the possibilities of this and other technologies that will be developed.

If I can afford it and if the vehicle does what I need it to do, then why not?

Driving is not the question. The question is where are the technology metals needed to build EVs going to come from? Unless we mine asteroids or something, there simply are not enough rare earths and tech metals available to manufacture significant numbers of EVs.

Porkys123 says " no...too dangerous....they don't build cars like they used too thats for sure... "

Porkys123 actually I disagree with your comment..........

Today's vehicles are much safer than vehicles from the past....

Watch the video with your speakers to see the proof...........

Today's vehicles are safer........................

Takes half a day to "re-fuel," and has a range of less than 200 miles. It's completely impractical, which is why electric cars were replaced with the internal combustion engine a century ago.
