Do your headlights shutoff automatic after vehicle is turn off...

I don't use this feature all that much with my Honda Accord.....

When you turn the vehicle back on, the lights come on automatic again.....

Great for those who leave their headlights on.......

Do you have this feature which is quite common in vehicles today and do you use it much...................

Contiki "I never answer the same question so often............."

If you look at page one of this very topic, you'll see you've answered the question the same way 42 times in the 4 visible pages, so I'd say you're answering quite often. There's a reason the Off Topic and Games and Trivia exist.

My Accord has this setting. However, if I use it the lights always come on in the garage when I start my car. Meaning that if I used it all the time, the expensive headlights would pile up off-on cycles much more quickly and fail more quickly, so no thanks. It has DRLs which require no switch setting.

I make this comment based on the already to frequent replacement interval I experienced with my prior car, which had an auto off feature built into the ignition switch, so the headlines were always on from start up to shut down. I'm blaming the shortened life on too many starts for the bulbs, although it could have just been that they were on too many hours. Any opinions on that?

sirreal1984 says "Contiki, why do you have to answer the same question so often? You're no better than GAJDHI in cluttering up the forums."

sirreal1984,If it bothers so much don't look at.......

sirreal1984 skip the thread instead of complaining so much.....

Others do the same as I do yet I have never seen your complaints about them.....get over it............................

I never answer the same question so often.............

sirreal1984 try to have a good day...............................

My wife's 2014 Honda Civic LX has this option now......so no risk of leaving the lights on and killing the battery like I did with her old 2001 Honda Civic.....

Good option to have yet I turn my headlight off manual the most because I never think to use this option with my wife's car not having this option.....

I can't say that anymore since my wife just bought a brand new 2014 Honda Civic LX that has this feature on it.....
