Yes, and I'm wondering if that's why my tire pressure fluctuates so much with the weather....or is it the aluminum wheels? My other car's tire pressure only drops a few pounds in fall and then remains stable for the winter after adding pressure.

Why would you change them in winter? I live in the snowbelt and keep one set on all year. No reason I can think of to change them. After all, even in the mountains it's mostly dry pavement all winter.
