Only if I have full control of the algorithm (i.e., OSS driving algorithm.)

I don't want backdoors of it deciding to drive me to buy something on its own, say, it drives itself to $megaexpensivegasstation ...

The technology on self-driving cars is way to experimental at the moment. Even if it becomes commercially available some day, I enjoy driving too much to get a self driving car.
