While i went for my morning coffee all was quiet at 6:30 am. Must attribute that to today being Sunday.

I live near the only two stations in eleven miles, one being a huge truck stop with 8 gasoline/deisel/E-0 gas pumps (fills up 16 vehicles at one time and 4 semis) and another independent wannabe truck stop. They are always busy.

I drove by several gas stations, and did not think to take note of whether or not they all had customers or not.

About a half mile away from me is a gas station/convience store that offers card holders of local supermarket chain a 10-cent per gallon discount on gas for every $100 of "points" they have on their card. (You get a point for every dollar you spend in the supermarket.) That can add up to quite a nice discount off the regular price at the pump.
Consequently, I've never been there when it wasn't busy.

I see customers at stations, whether they are buying gas or food in the store.

Are you referring to the high gas prices in California? This is a local issue so try posting on the Orange County Discussion Forum.

I doubt you will get a response here, post in your local forum if you want feedback.
