I'm not on the Force now (retired) but one of the really gratifying things about being a cop was writing a "prima facie" ticket--sending the registered owner a ticket in the mail.

I would do it mostly for egregious violations. But spout off, give me the bird, and a cop can always write down the license plate, and send you a "Hallmark" (for when you care enough to send the very best).

Doesn't matter who's driving. That ticket will be paid!

Something to think about.

The "bird" is the semi-official state bird of Massachusetts. Sorry Mr and Mrs chickadee but the "bird" is more popular than you especially in the environs of Boston and eastern Mass.

Very well, whichever term suits you. Nonetheless flipping someone off shows the flipper allows other people to control them. An adult does not flip others off as an adult is in control of themselves.

I've done it a couple of time when someone was especially deserving. I'm not very proud of it but I think anyone is capable of displaying anger when they're especially provoked.

QUOTE ::::Wow, you must hang out with some tough babies, they sure are learning bad habits early these days.::::

My response was clear. It is grossly immature to allow another driver to aggravate you where you flip them off. I never allow strangers to control my emotions or behavior.

Flipping someone off is proof positive that you are not in control of yourself, that you are controlled by people you don't know.

Never have, never developed that as a habit, even back in jr.high...when spanking "got it done" Shooting Marbles, trended the "SOB.phrase" along with more Spanking....then along came the "It Works Phrase"

Now you may hear "That,ll Work" = like maybe! A sore thumb nail is better than a sore.. a..sore donkey!

No but someone flipped me off today while tailgating me. He finally whipped around me but was unable to beat the light. Of course he didn't stop. And yes, the Red Light Camera flashed.
