when it was early spring, maybe once a week!

since it's warmer now, i would dilute that blue fluid to 1/3 and the rest water...

so i can stretch that one gallon of fluid to 3 gallons of that 1:3 ratio of blue water: regular water to last the next 2 months :P

I check it every season... and use season-appropriate fluid instead of the cheap "year-round" blue stuff.

reb4, funny you said that... there are winter blends and summer blends of washer fluid out there that does what i first posted

just add more ethanol or other alcohol into the tank to bring the freezing point lower

actually don't normally check / use it... Two cars have very deep large tank for what we use it... Need to change wiper blades so during this last week (up to 20 inches of snow) and lots of commuting put a gallon and half in both cars (filled up my car and pretty much filled 2nd car not used as much).

Warning on practicing what ricebike suggests... if you don't use your windshield fluit much, it can cause issues when temps get down sub freezing... I did what was suggested and though I had topped off the fluid with full strength, it still caused issues... for the money saved it really isn't worth it... in my opinion..
