If you have a spare tire stored under your vehicle ... How often do you drop it down and clean the linkage?

Such location is a pain. I check the air pressure about every 6-9 months. In my other car, I check it more often since it's easier.

Check it occasionally - at least once per year, while I am inspecting other items

I don't have the van anymore that had a spare under the frame. But I hate that placement. It's more trouble than having the spare inside the van.

I have customers come in askng for that before they go on their road trips. Its a good thing to do to minimize any problems you may have on the road

My friend's minivan had that... terrible. He got caught with a flat at 3am out of town and had to stay the night cause it wouldn't come off.

Well, fortunately I don't drive a truck, so I don't have to cope with linkages, etc. But, it does beg another comment --> when was the last time you checked the air pressure in your spare? Darn shame if you got off somewhere and needed it, only to find it flat ........
