It is Very Sad to see the OLDEST CAR Company in America die. Olds dates back to 1897. OLDSMOBILE has really neat rides over the years. Rocket88's, 442's, Cutlass Supremes, Hurst/Olds, Intrigues, Ninety Eights, W-30, etc... They were Top Sellers for Years and led with many innovations.

If You Owned an OLDSMOBILE you can just Say "YES"

*******OR*******

Tell Us about YOUR OLDS, which Model(s)/Years You owned (or maybe desired)

Please share your any stories you might have about OLDSMOBILES.

Yes.....I always liked Oldsmobile better than Buick........

I own a 1957 Oldsmobile Rocket 88..... a 1980 Cutlass Supreme.....

They were great cars back in those days...........

I alway thought of Oldsmobile as a brand with the power and performance to go fast......and they did....

Oldsmobile was GM's test car for trying out many new options on and Oldsmobile was GM's test vehicle for so many years, up until the end..........

Again I liked Oldsmobile................

When they drop Oldsmobile I always thought they should have drop Buick instead.....

Buick never had "OLD" in it's name like Oldsmobile did and why Buick was kepted.....go figure..

Now Buick is trying so hard to rise above being known as a "old folk's vehicle"....

Buick was always more into luxury in their vehicles while Oldsmobile was more muscle..........luxury won out.....

I might add people that owned Buicks always thought of themselves only a step away from a Cadillac, owning a Buick.....well most thought that....

Yes, 2001 Olds Aurora. Bought it four months before they announced they were closing down Oldsmobile. Not happy about that.

I have owned many cars but I've had quite a few Oldsmobiles, up until the oldest car company in America ceased to produce vehicles of course, but fortunately most of them I had gave good service to me. There are some really nice ones I wish I could aquire though, I love the '68-'72 Cutlass/442/W30 cars.

1971 Olds Cutlass Supreme. 350, 4-barrel. 61,000 miles when I bought it for $2100 in 1975. Then, we inherited a 1996 Olds 88 that was a real piece crap. One malady after another struck that beast. 30+ mpg on trips, but the suspension was always having issues, A/C died, composite intake manifold croaked, leather interior rotted from sun exposure. Just not a good car.
