It is Very Sad to see the OLDEST CAR Company in America die. Olds dates back to 1897. OLDSMOBILE has really neat rides over the years. Rocket88's, 442's, Cutlass Supremes, Hurst/Olds, Intrigues, Ninety Eights, W-30, etc... They were Top Sellers for Years and led with many innovations.

If You Owned an OLDSMOBILE you can just Say "YES"

*******OR*******

Tell Us about YOUR OLDS, which Model(s)/Years You owned (or maybe desired)

Please share your any stories you might have about OLDSMOBILES.

Had a 1977 Olds Cutlass S and 1977 Olds Cutlass Brougham. Got the Brougham for a steal, then the motor blew, but I loved it so much I overpaid for the S.

Both went to the scrapyard many years ago.

Yes.....I always liked Oldsmobile better than Buick........

I own a 1957 Oldsmobile Rocket 88..... a 1980 Cutlass Supreme.....

They were great cars back in those days...........

I alway thought of Oldsmobile as a brand with the power to go fast...

Oldsmobile was GM's test car for trying out many new options on and was GM's test vehicle for many years...........

Again I liked Oldsmobile................

When they drop Oldsmobile I thought they should have drop Buick instead.....

Buick never had "OLD" in it's name like Oldsmobile did and why Buick was kepted.....go figure..

Now Buick is trying so hard to rise above being known as a "old folk's vehicle"....

I often wonder how things would have been if Oldsmobile was kept and Buick was dropped instead....whether Oldsmobile would have been more muscle vehicles or not.......Buick was always more as luxury while Oldsmobile was more as muscle.....Buick probably had more marketing power to sell with luxury for the consumer rather than muscle.....the way I seen it........

One of the best cars I ever owned was an 84 Olds wagon. Sorry they shut down.

Yes, 1960 Super 88 Wagon, 1963 F-85 wagon. Pontiac was my favorite though. I agree with with CONTIKI Buick should of gone away as they really didn't sell a lot of them in the US compared to Olds and Pontiac.

Yes - fond memories of my 76 88 and 73 98, along with the Delmont 88 we cut the rood off of when we were young so we could have a "convertible" - too bad it rained at times, but we were young
