fhcmedic :

Actually, if you check the North Carolina gas price charts you'll see that until recently (some time in February), gas prices have dropped just as quick as they've gone up, and, for that matter, between mid-July 2013 and January 2014, prices have almost continually dropped (from about $3.46 a gallon to about $3.18 a gallon).

I think you better double check the figures for the past 18 months of North
Carolina gas prices and see if you want to change what you wrote.

It is ridiculous how quickly the prices go up and how slowly they come down...I agree it's greed.

The best way to boycott gas is to switch to alternative fuel like electric or hydrogen otherwise just cutting back is not truly helping.

As long as you still are using gas (whether or not you stock up and use it from cans over the 10 days or just drive a little bit less), the gas companies will still win.

The best way to control gas prices is to remove it as a commodity from Wall Street. It is the speculators who drive up the price of gas more than anything - sometimes as much as 40-50%!

Try buying only what you need, make arrangements to visits with family after Christmas or after the New Year.

"Don't buy gas for 10 days. Because this will help lower the gas price. "

And why would you think that plan would work?

Don't buy gas for 10 days. Because this will help lower the gas price. We need to put a stop on higher gas price
