I will not buy gas from them, not because you told me not to but because it is not within my driving area.

Gas by us has gone down into the 2.80's

First, Trumbull gas stations aren't that much higher than the average Bridgeport Connecticut gas prices are, generally in the $3.77 range (with a couple stations higher), with Bridgeport and Fairfield area prices in the same range or higher. Aren't you boycotting those gas stations too?

Yes, some Trumbull gas stations are 18-23 cents per gallon higher than Trumbull was selected by Family Circle magazine as the 7th "Best Town for Families" in the United Sates, and by U.S. News & World Report magazine as one of the top 15 "Best Places to Retire" in Connecticut, and ranked by Money magazine number 68 in their 100 best places to live rankings of U.S. cities in 2007 and number 77 in 2009. And, in 2013 Trumbull was ranked the top "booming suburb" in Connecticut by Coldwell Banker. Trumbull seems to also be a high income area, meaning that operating costs such as rental and building/buying of gas stations would not be inexpensive.

The repeated saying of BOYCOTT ALL TRUMBULL CT GAS STATIONS!! doesn't add much to the seriousness of your issue. And, it's hard to determine who you want "the word" spread to. This is a very local issue, and the General Gas Talk discussion category is seen by Gas Buddy members across the United States and Canada, most of who won't know where Bridgeport is, let alone Trumbull, let alone shop at the Trumbull gas stations you want boycotted. You might be better posting this topic in your local Bridgeport discussion category where it can be seen by people who can take the action you want.

But, if you're going to call for boycotting gas stations, you have to have a goal, something that the gas stations can do in order for you to end your boycott. You can't simply boycott with no final demand or goal. What is it you want the gas stations to do in order for you to end your boycott? And, what if your demands cannot be met, for any number of reasons, such as the stations being unable to sell below cost or being unable to sell for less and not being able to cover operating expenses, let alone get a return on investment?

The bottom line is, if you boycott the gas stations, you want them to meet certain demands you have. You haven't said what you want the gas stations to do. Or don't you have any specific demands other than they should be
boycotted in perpetuity..
