if everybody used gasbuddy to buy the cheapest the higher stations would line up because they would not be selling gas.

Perhaps your plan will just cause the stations in Keremeos to raise their prices.

People: There's no need to continue to respond to this topic.
The person starting the topic started it several weeks ago and hasn't returned since making his one and only message post (the one starting this topic), nor has he bothered to post any gas prices or other activity since joining a month ago.
If the issue isn't important to him, despite his saying "At some point we have to have a voice...", which he apparently isn't using (though he uses the screen name "fedup..."), then the discussion should simply stop and if the issue is important, be brought up in a new thread.

I do not use social media (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) at all for any reason.
Too much information floating around in cyberspace.
Plus, people will still shop where ever they are. They won't drive 1/2 a mile to get 20 cents off of gas when they just want to keep tootling down the highway.

Well fedup, you could be in NY or NJ right now. Just saying. Sometimes, thank you is enough.

How about moving this to the Gasout/Boycott area?

First, as maxstar said, this is a local issue, not one for Gas Buddy members across the United States and Canada who read the General Gas Talk discussions.
Second, there is a boycott discussion category which this could go in, again however it's a local issue.
That said, if you want to get people to use Twitter to get other people to boycott, why not use Twitter to get your word out, instead of some small website?
Second, you haven't said why people should boycott "petrocan" (whatever that is) or why they should boycott a complete community. You mean people should boycott, for example, the complete community of British Columbia? Why?
What does Princeton or Keremeos have to do with petrocam or a complete community?
As for one place always being higher than another place, first you're talking a half hour away, which uses a lot of gas driving just to same some unknown amount of money per gallon. Second, you haven't said anything about the difference in tax or rent or the cost of opening up gas stations in either Princeton or Keeremeos, and you haven't said that all gas prices in Princeton (wherever that is) are always higher than all gas ;prices in Keremeos. Just because one place is higher priced than another doesn't mean anything unless you can provide some background.
But why should we "Tweet it to everyone" if we're nowhere near British Columbia. What do the people in Maryland or Florida or New Mexico or the Yukon Territories or Prince Edwards Island care about isolated gas stations in two small communities enough that they should be "tweeting" everyone across two countries?
Sorry, but you need to make this local if it's that important, and you need to provide better reasoning for people to become interested in your issue.
I've asked the moderators to move this to your local discussion category for better impact.

fedup105: Your topic is in the wrong category and belongs in your local British Columbia discussion board. I doubt if other members throughout the rest of Canada or the US know of or care about Priceton or Keremeo.
I am not sure what is wrong with your petrocan, but you will find that boycotts do not work.,
