They're gouging people with their gas prices. Gas prices are high enough and when I was there they were charging $4.75 a gallon at the shell station there. The other gas station there was also selling their gas for close to that amount. I believe their the highest gas prices in California. Gas prices are high enough and their gouging people. Not sure how those people sleep at night knowing their ripping people off. I was lucky to have avoided buying gas there. I made to San Luis Obispo where gas prices were the normal prices for California. I won't give those bastard criminals in Cambria one cent of mine.

I would expect prices to be higher there. illip88 doesn't post prices, not even the Cambria price for others. 1/120.

If I remember correctly, being a Salinas Valley resident, and who traveled throughout the Monterey area down to San Luis Obisbo regularly, isn't Cambria a pretty much isolated town with a population of only a couple thousand people? If I remember correctly, their high school only has about 30 students (pretty sure it's under 40). Sorry, but you're talking about a gas station in an isolated area, one not easy to routine service because of irregular delivery schedule, etc. However, before you call the station operators "bastard criminals", did you check what their wholesale price was, or what their operating expenses are (in order to maintain a relatively isolated gas station)? Have you gotten figures to understand why they're priced the way they are, or did you just decide that because the price is high, they must be "bastard criminals"? That said, did you bother to post the gas price for that station, as well as the stations in San Luis Obisbo? I mean so that your fellow Gas Buddy members would be able to do their gas buying with more knowledge? Or did you just join Gas Buddy to complain about a very isolated gas station somewhere in California?
