I joined FRN through and love it. You can link your Mastercard to FRN to earn cents off a gallon. Til the end of this year, every time you swipe your FRN card, you get 3 cents off a gallon at participating stations.

Looks totally bogus. Looks like they just want your info in order to put you on a sucker list for marketing. 3cents/gal? keep it, not worth my time.

You get far, far, far better discounts just earning gas rewards at the supermarket. I easily get 20cents off a gallon without even trying. When the supermarket has gift card promotions I buy the max and get $77 in free gas.

Also some gas/milk franchises give 10cents/gal discount for linking to their store gas card.

I totally agree with MrsMLB. It can be a very helpful cost-cutting tool, but you have to make sure that you are saving more than what nearby stations are charging regularly.
For me, as for many of us, every penny counts!

I'm often careful that the location prices are inline with the local area gas prices so that the discounts received are in my favor instead of paying more for gas because I get .03 cents off. Gotta make it worth while.

I use it but most of the time i find better prices at other gas stations. 3 cent per gallon helps a little but i have found gas at other stations are usually cheaper than that

I always forget the card--or forget to swipe it first. Wasn't it linked to Kroger at one time? Tried to link my Kroger card on the website but it didn't appear in the dropdown menu of choices.
