Why are gas prices so high on the west coast? They should all be the same no matter were u r

It goes by how far they go and most of the refinnaries always have spills here on the west coast well it seems that way anyway we had the valero one chevron those are just to reasons bro

Good question. I live on the west coast and. At this I am in the east coa
st and fuel here is cheaper than back home.I just escaped hurricane sandy. What I found from the locals is that the stations here by law can't raise their prices even if they have a line where some people are waiting 8 hours for fuel.
