bought gas on saturday for 3.76 and again on monday for 3.84. same gas, same station. what's up with taht?

Free market system. Actually, it's not. If it was, price swings would be much worse.

What ever happened to the theories of supply and demand when it comes to gas prices? Have the definitions of supply and demand been altered?

Agreed. It seems my station loves to drop their price on Fridays, because I buy on Friday mornings, and by the afternoon it's down 3-6 cents the past two weeks. It's aggravating.
