Its crazy how BPs at 3.199/reg. and GetGo is 3.399/reg within a couple of miles from each other. There is no regulation of these gas prices. Don't tell me otherwise.

I agree with slower driving. Why are people driving so aggressively? I coast up to red lights and people are tailing my bumper.

I think every one is trying to limit going places and know that the holidays are here penny pinching time is here so keeping a log of what I need and shopping for it all at once seems to help too :)

Back in the day, a tank of gas & a roll of film kept me entertained for a day. Tough to do that very often anymore, but to me it helps to live close to work.

Alot of cutting back. Got rid of our full size 4 wheel drive vehicle for a compact 4 wheel drive vehicle (which is making a huge difference). We now plan trips to the store so we only have to go once a week and plan ahead for the fewest stops.

All are good suggestions/recommendations. Remember all are useless if you don't have a sense of security within -- no matter what is going on economically speaking. Prices will go up not just gas -- we haven't seen nothin' yet.
If you don't have a sense of peace inside of you, you will either have a nervous breakdown, heart attack, stressed out, you name it.
See it for what it is and thank yourself for doing what you can for you and your family. What matters are the people around you (including your friends) who are there for you thru thick and thin.

IT WILL GET WORSE , and now $5.05 a gal. in Cal.,, around $4.00 + in Maine and going up O.M.G. and most work in the city and live out in the country ,

Carpooling with strangers who became my friends. I drive them door to door, house/work, and we all save on gas money.

Have to save money by using less, spending less, driving less. Less consumption all around. Shorter drives, shorter showers, hang clothes to dry, eat less. Trying to keep food and utilities to around $1000 a month for a family. Not easy. Gas bill runs between $25 to $50 per week.

I move money around from "Peter" to pay "Paul". I've canceled as many club memberships, only buy the essentials for home and food, I stopped getting my hair cut.

w/o,/walk/try to get ride wothers going the same way. matter of speaking. you can get to know others,help if they know things are tough. it not just 1 person in same boat having financial issues.

most people have to work and they have no choice. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is in the Air Force. He car pools to the base with other airmen. We only use to car to do shopping on post and drive around occasionally. We have cut back as much as possible.

I try to be more efficient when I go out, I try to get as many things done in one trip as possible. Just take a little more planning and thinking ahead.

I try to save all my errands up for a couple of days then I line them up and try to make a big circle to get them all done. That way if I need gas after doing all my errands I'm close to home and it won't take much gas to get to home.
