I've had my Shell Saver Card for nearly 2 years. I didn't have any problems with registering or changing my PIN once they mailed my temporary PIN. My savings was immediately subtracted and posted to my checking account. Only downside is when new promos are introduced they will not apply to your existing card. I was told you have to cancel and reapply (which Shell had no problem in doing). I like it very much

I have the shell saver card and it is a joke, because when you go to the pump, they try to encourage a person to sign up for the card, and then when you get your monthly statement, you do not get the 2 cents off per gallon, like they claim you will. Shell is just out to get a hold of customers money. You are better off signing up with and for the next 60 days, you get 15 cents off per gallon. That's exactly what I did and there are no gimmicks there. I am never going to get Shell gas again, and then when you call, you get a rep that tells you maybe you purchased groceries with it, and none of the shell stations have groceries; when I tell this, they are so hesitant to give me off the 2 cents I am supposed to get; they want me to pay a fax service to send in the receipts and ask me exactly how many gallons did I purchase. It happened twice to me April 15 and May 14. I have had enough of Shell. Speedpass is the way to go. GOOD LUCK!

This card sucks. I have had my card for 2 months now. Every time I go to the pump, I press debit, swipe the card and enter my pin number. It says "See Cashier". I've called the number on the back of the card and spoken to someone about this 3 times. Nothing ever gets resolved. They tell me it is a code 3 and that Telecheck is denying me. I have never written a bad check and I have money in my account. I was able to use my regular bank debit card (tied to the same checking acct as my shell saver card) and it worked just fine. Now they are telling me I need to fax in a copy of my driver's license and a voided check and they will try to clear this up with Telecheck. I'm thinking I will just cancel the card and shop elsewhere. Goodbye Shell...

OK, I'LL TRY THIS ONE MORE TIME...
GO TO SHELL GET A CARD, THEN BRING IT HOME AND USE THIS DIFFICULT SITE TO REGISTER THE CARD...THEN WAIT FOR A PIN TO ARRIVE THROUGH SNAIL MAIL.

hey this works great. actually until dec 31, 09 you save .05 cents off every gallon and after the 1st of Jan, 10 you only save .02 cents a gallon, but in today's world a penny is still money.

I've had my Shell card for about a year and have received several hundred dollars in 5% rebates. Especially good when Shell is the same price as everyone else in the area. And Shell is found all around the country.
