Up here, I don't know that you would call the prices changed--but they sure have fluctuated over the last 3 months, and the movement continues upwards.
You can bet your bippy there will be several others, and maybe a newbie even.

I wonder if prices have changed much in three months. I wonder if this topic will get three posts after three months of none.

We've been bouncing around between 1.99 and 2.05 for the past 2 or 3 months. Hope it stays this way.

I think prices have been rather reasonable lately. I think GasBuddy helps keep them that way.

gas keeps jumping up and down. wonder when the oil companies are going to say when the shortage is coming back so they have an excuse to raise prices. the last time they said there was a shortage they had plenty on hand. the news stationd called them out.

In the process of fueling up on Sunday at Cost-co the attendant came over and was looking at our pump, my husband asked whats wrong ? The attendant said the price was going up 8 cents and that it would go into effect as soon as we finished pumping! 8 cents just like that!

My thoughts are that looking at the national map it's easy to see that we are getting taxed to death in Wisconsin.

Alright, 75, the first one was funny, the second one was stupid, the third one reminded me of this and the fourth is a real groaner.

No, bigladytf. This recent change is mostly, if not purely, market driven.

Ok I know prices go up but by 42 cents in one day. Something is very very very wrong with this. Everybody complains about the gas company profits but they are making 8 cents a gallon but the federal government is making 22 cents a gallon who is getting record profits?

I volunteer to drive to Vancouver BC and just drive right past any Esso or Petro Canada stations I see. In fact, I'll thumb my nose at them. That'll show'em who's boss!

I've never ever been to an ESSO or a Petro Canada. I guess I'm helping in your boycott.

I think we should boycot ESSO and Petro canada for the month of May And June. Hit big Oil in the pocket book and let them sit on there overpriced Fuel. Remember they own the stations and they have two sets of Books. One for the station and the other for big Oil. What was the profits last Quarter for big Oil????? $$$$$$$$$$$$.... Not kidding pass the word boy cot Esso and Petro for the month of May and June from coast to coast. I bet the price will come down by July if we boycot them.

Interesting procedure. I'd say you have a little too much time on your hands! But here in the ether, time is ephemeral.

I went back and tried topic 0001, 0002 an then tried to work backward as well as picking some random numbers in between. From my limited experimenting, thread 1072 seems to be the earliest active thread. The others just say "This topic no longer available."http://www.gasbuddy.com/Forum_MSG.aspx?master=1&category=1067&topic=1085&page_no=1&FAV=N
where topic=xxxx is the possible thread counter.
I also played with the Category (not intentionally, I just found myself changing the wrong 4 digit number) and it seems to have no impact on what appears on the screen, nor does Master.

diIIo, that is a might specific guesstimation! Is there an unseen counter that can give you that kind of accuracy? Or do use a time machine?

Is this the oldest thread anywhere on any GasBuddy site? I've been driving around the country for years and I still haven't found that place called "Gasbuddyville". Didn't find Margaritaville either.

Do you think that JT has read this lately; or are we in Never-Neverland?
His question was posted 5 years ago. I don't even see people responding to his question anymore...
