Not allowed here. You have to wait 15 minutes after they are finished before you can use the pumps.

Usually I do not, but the pumps all have filters on them and it should not matter.

Nope. I still think to the possibility of stuff on the bottom of the tank being stirred up and circulating. I don't want that in my fuel system, to settle into the bottom of my tank, either.

There are two reasons why I would not fill up when a station is getting a fuel delivery: 1) If the tank hasn't been serviced to remove the gunk that builds up at the bottom of the tank, the incoming fuel will stir it up and that can get in your tank; 2) If it's a hot day, the tanker may be delivering hot fuel. Gasoline expands with temperature meaning that the amount of gas you buy (say, 15 gallons) will have less energy than the same amount of gas that has had a chance to reach ground temperature. Our gas pumps are not temperature compensated.

It is best to buy in the morning if possible.

NO.
Water and Sediment in the underground tank gets stirred up and mixed with the gas. You don't want that in your gas tank.

I get gas when I need it. I don't worry about fuel deliveries. Maybe I should, but I don't.
