Are the prices displayed by gas buddy the prices for club members or for anyone? If they are for club members is there a way that I can change the gas station to stop at in my trip calculator?

Both Sams club and costco are member only prices. I prefer Sam's over Costco because it seems to burn cleaner and gives me better gas mileage.

Members only as fa as I know, never bought gas at either. One reason they are cheaper is because of a cheaper additive package. I only buy top tier fuels.

Sams and Costco are both members only. Nearby there is a Sams Club and a Costco across the street from each other. Their prices are almost always identical, though other stations in the area are very close.

Borsht, IE: blocking stations that charge more for using a credit card, I suspect those stations would be very quick to point out, what they really do is offer a cash discount to those willing to pay cash. Its all a matter of point of view!!!

I'd like to block seeing any station that charges more for credit cards.
Or, see both prices posted.

Just figure for both of these stations, if you're not a member, you don't need to stop there. Good price or not.

Here, Costco gas is members only, but nearby stations usually match or come close to their price anyway

Wow......$7 on a garden cart. So now you only have to save $48 more?
So now you think Kroger is "giving" away gas discounts? Is anything really free? Do you not realize that you or someone else is paying for your promotions and you in turn theirs?

The issue as to whether membership is required depends on what state. In Alabama one can not get credits or discounts at the pump such as what Kroger offers. But my Alabama Kroger purchases count perfectly fine for discounts at the pump when I am out of state.

OTOH in Alabama a pharmacy may not require membership so anyone can use the Sams pharmacy service. They don't ask for your membership card unless purchasing other items.

"After paying for a membership and sitting in line do you really think you are saving money? Not to mention your time, duh."

Yes. For instance Sams has a garden cart for $18 which is $25 at Walmart and even more on Amazon. With a business membership I can get in at 7 AM and out in moments.

There is no line at the Sams gas pump, its consistently the lowest price in town, and I get as good of MPG on Sams gas as any other. Better than Murphy. Better than the local Exxon.

Not everything costs less at Sams, sometimes more. But "You get what you shop for."

In Grand Rapids, MI area, 2 Costcos are member only. 2 Sam's Clubs: one members only, the other allows Walmart credit cards at a slightly higher price per gallon and the general public at a higher yet rate.

It does not look like most of the responses have anything to do with your question. I doubt if they actually read your whole post. Below Gas_Buddy does look to have answer your question which is no, particular stations can not be excluded from the trip calculator. Hopefully there are not a lot of "clubs" along your route.

The ability to screen out particular stations might be a good suggestion for an improvement. If you suggest it in that category, be prepared for members hashing it around. That is the nature of that category.

Wait! What? One can not buy gasoline at either of those stations without a membership to the respective business. You have to stick your membership card in the dispenser before you stick in your credit/debit card, don't chew?
