I like the idea of one way traffic pattern at gas stations, what's your opinion/idea?

Good idea. But some cars fill up on different sides.

It would work if every car had the filler on the same side. Otherwise, I see mass confusion.

Yes. In some stations the area is so tight it's almost impossible to get around vehicles to get to the pump.

It doesn't matter what side the fuel intake of a vehicle is on since 99.6% of pumps have two sides you just pull up to the pump that is facing the vehicles fuel intake and pump away.

Must have long hoses to make it work.

Works for Costco, and they have the hose extension to fill on either side of the car too

Right Answer comes from the comment , "not all cars have the fuel fill nozzle on the same side of the car"

Oceanarcher, rules and regulations are for people who lack manners and common sense.

Look for more rules and regulations.

I think people need to simply be more polite. Besides, not all cars have the fuel fill nozzle on the same side of the car

Depends more on station layout and surrounding roads and entrances.

It depends on the station and the adjoining roads to their entrances. We have a large truck stop here that it makes no difference which way you come in or exit because there is lots of room for either way.

I see some stations that have that and people still go the wrong way.

Yes, it is on the only way to go and it is civil, to boot. We must practice politeness and efficiency at all gas stations across this great nation of ours. The less time we have to idle our engines at gas stations, the more gas we will save.
