Do you see gas prices ever coming down and staying low........

Gas prices' monthly increase highest since '08......

March 28, 2013

Prices across the country jump 8.4 percent

Gasoline prices in Canada rose 8.4 percent this February, reports Statistic Canada, the biggest monthly increase since May 2008.

The overall two percent rise in transportation costs, which runs counter to the 0.5 percent decline in such costs seen January, has been blamed for raising the country's annual inflation rate.

Prices went up in every province that month, CBC reports, but the biggest jumps were seen in Newfoundland and Labrador; the smallest gas price bump happened out west in B.C. and Alberta.

Gas prices' monthly increase highest since '08......

How do see gas prices going...........

Tell me what you think......

No, never seen it. It will be same until a safe, economic, and reliable alternative energy is developed and publicly used.

I wouldn't suggest that the prices are low. so "staying low" doesn't mean anything to me. However, regardless of the terminology, if history repeats itself, summer will mean higher prices.

the term 'low' is a relative one, low in 2014 does not mean the same as it did a year ago

define 'low'. Under $3 a gallon, perhaps. Under $2...no. Over $4 yes. Over $5 yes.

no. Several reasons, but it also involves the continuing (and steepening) decline in the value of the U.S. dollar along with many central banks moving away from holding it as the main reserve currency. Every other reason gets play in the media, but this one barely gets touched.
